AS I SEE IT: ON O’DONNELL: ELECTIONS ARE COMING

Boy, my computer was sizzling this morning with criticism of O’Donnell and the tapes selectively used by Bill Maher. Here is my take….

O’Donnell is not a choice candidate…that’s for sure.

She lacks the “je ne sais quoi” of Barney Frank and his sexual peccadilloes and rotten voting record.

She lacks the probity and integrity of Ted Kennedy. Tis true he completed college after paying a chap to take exams for him and she did not.

She does not own tax-exempt villas in Santo Domingo.

She lacks the charm and integrity of Maxine Waters.

She never hid old records of fraudulent transactions in an adjacent room in the White House and she never “dodged sniper fire in Bosnia” and she did not get cohorts to say “I don’t remember” almost a thousand times during the investigation of Vince Foster’s death.

And, her tax problems are not exactly of the magnitude of Tim Geithner’s.

And she is not a charlatan and hoaxter and downright liar like Chris Dodd who had the temerity to think he could be president.

She never lied about serving in Vietnam.

But none of this addresses two main points. Her opponent Coons is an unvarnished Marxist….more about him on another post.
Most important of all…..she is not running to govern as governor or president or mayor. She is not running for a life appointment on any judicial bench. She is running to cast votes and those votes are crucial to reclaiming our liberties in America and she will vote the right way.
Give her a break and don’t join those who are writing her political obituary and anointing a hardened Marxist for the Senate in Delaware.
