06/27/11 Six members of congress sent a letter to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, calling upon her to ensure the safety of the U.S. idiots passengers on the ship named “The Audacity of Hope,” a/k/a Ship of Fools, a/k/a other names less printable, which is set to sail for Gaza in an effort to break the Israeli blockade imposed to prevent the shipment of tons of weapons used by Gazans in their unending attempt to exterminate the Jews and remove them from the Middle East.  Here is a key paragraph of the letter:

A year ago, Israel took military action against the “Gaza flotilla” in international waters, which resulted in the deaths of nine civilians, including one American citizen. In addition, ten Israeli commandos and more than 20 passengers were injured in this tragic incident. In order to avoid another confrontation this year, we urge all parties to practice maximum restraint and avoid violence.

Here’s a better recommendation:  How about if these members of congress, instead, urge the Americans to stay the heck off any boat that is trying to illegally break a legal blockade?!  And how outrageous that the letter so selectively states that last year’s flotilla resulted in the deaths of nine civilians: nine people died last year because there were violent, armed terrorists on the ship.  The Israelis boarded the non-compliant ships with paintball guns.  And the Israeli action took place in “international waters” in accordance with international law.
