They knew about the massacres, and they were free to protest, but they chose to be criminally complicit.
If you wonder why Europe is still in a socialist mess today, look no farther than the Europeans’ Marx-intoxicated educational system. The Soviet Union may have crumbled, but Euro-socialism has tried to take its place. Tony Blair (a socialist Labourite, after all) called it “Third Way Socialism.” Today’s European fiasco is not an accident.
After Greece and the others fall into bankruptcy next year, there will be a short interval of sanity, only to be followed by another big Euro imperialist fantasy. They’ve been doing it since Julius Caesar. They never stop, and today, they are already blaming America for fifty years of their own mass delusion.

Come to think of it, some conservative outfit should do a mass mailing to all the Democrats and leftists in the country. And all the college kids. Or maybe we should imitate the left and turn the Black Book into a Sunday cartoon series like “Doonesbury.” You can’t start too early.
Just thinking about it makes me shiver, because our crypto-fascist media pundits never change. They never ‘fess up, simply ignoring one bloody massacre after another and shifting their utopian dreams to the future — to some newer hope and change, as our current messiah told the world just four years ago. Nothing has changed.
Marxism is not a rational belief, but a virus that hides in the body politic for a decade or two, only to bust out again when a new generation of comes of age, without rabies shots.
Today’s Marxist liberals still harbor a nasty case of anti-American rage for the failure of the Soviet Union twenty years ago. When Democratic National Committee Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz [1] proclaimed Obama’s support for Israel in a Pennsylvania synagogue, she was visibly shocked by the loud and vocal dissent from the audience. Unlike the sanitized pro-Obama [2] Jewish events in Florida, where Jews who opposed him were prevented from entering, the Pennsylvania event was open to all.
Wasserman Schultz apparently so believes her own rhetoric and has been so insulated from the political change sweeping the Jewish community that for a few moments she seemed sufficiently shaken to be unable to continue her speech.
One group that has had its pulse on the political leanings of the Jewish community is the Republican Jewish Coalition. Playing on the theme of buyer’s remorse [3] — Jews who voted for Obama but will not again — the RJC has been running ads and videos with Jews who supported Obama in 2008 and are vocal about their intent not to do so now.
The Jewish Democrats will quickly point out that no one expects the majority of the Jewish community to vote for Mitt Romney. But they fail to see that this election will, by all current indications, be close. A predicted near twenty-percent shift in the Jewish vote in critical states like Florida and Ohio can devastate Obama’s electoral vote count.
It is no accident that while Mitt Romney was on his way to Israel, Obama signed a security agreement [4] giving Israel preferential access to American arms and munitions. Israeli Defense Minister Ehud Barak was quick to note how supportive the Obama administration was of Israel, and liberal Jews immediately seized on that as if it were something other than the expected response of a small country dependent for its military hardware on a large country.

New Jersey Governor Chris Christie, often described as a “rock star” in the Republican Party, has finally addressed the criticism of his courtship of Islamists. On July 24, Christie held an Iftar dinner at the Governor’s Mansion, attended by Imam Mohammad Qatanani, a Hamas-linked cleric whose deportation is sought by the Department of Homeland Security. Christie reiterated his support for Qatanani and made the case to his Muslim audience that he is their ally by ridiculing the “bigots” attacking him.
Christie opens by talking about the attacks on “our relationship” (between him and, as he would characterize it, the Muslim community of N.J.) that show a “gaze of intolerance that’s going around our country that is disturbing.” You can watch the entire speech on YouTube.
He mocked his critics, saying “You’ll all be fascinated to learn that in many publications around the country, I’m called an Islamist.” No one ever said he is an Islamist himself and only a handful of writers have covered the controversy, including myself,, the Investigative Project on Terrorism, Dr. Daniel Pipes, Robert Spencer and my fellow N.J. resident, Andrew McCarthy.
Christie blatantly accused us of having anti-Muslim motivations.
“These are the kind of red herrings that people put up who are bigots, who want to judge people based upon their religious beliefs, want to judge people with a broad brush,” he said.
He stood by his support for Imam Qatanani, pointing out that he was in attendance and “I’m glad to have you here.” He called him a “friend” that “has attempted to be a force for good in his community.”
To prove to his audience that he is their ally against “Islamophobia,” though he didn’t use that exact word, he cited the controversies surrounding three of his actions: His support for Qatanani, his nomination of Sohail Mohammed as a Superior Court Judge and how he stood against the NYPD’s intelligence-gathering operations in his state. Let’s address these cases one-by-one.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Keith A. Pounds and Kelly A. Pounds were sworn into the S.C. State Guard at the ranks of 1st LT and Cpl., respectively, Saturday, Aug. 4.
The ceremonies presided over by Brig. Gen. Richard Eckstrom – commander of the S.C. State Guard and comptroller general of S.C. – were held at the State Guard’s historic Olympia Army in Columbia.
“Lt. Pounds and Cpl. Pounds reflect the high standards we demand of those men and women applying for commissions or enlisting in the State Guard, as well as those already serving who are seeking junior officer or NCO rank,” says COL Tom Mullikin, deputy commander, S.C. State Guard. “Both have proven professional leadership experience, and we are now the beneficiaries of that experience.”
Lt. Pounds is a former U.S. Navy corpsman having served aboard both USS Joseph Hewes – a (Commodore Dudley Wright) Knox-class frigate – and with the 4th Marine Division. Pounds holds a master’s degree in business administration and is currently employed by Courtesy Management of Orangeburg.
Pounds’ wife, Cpl. Pounds, is employed by Lexington Women’s Care in Columbia, one of the state’s largest OB/GYN facilities.

A month ago, Debbie Wasserman-Schultz sat down with the host of a Jewish television channel and could not name any reason for Jews to vote for Obama except for his support for abortion. Which is to say that the favorite muppet of the Democratic Party could not think of any reason to support B.O. except a mutual commitment that fewer Jews be born.
It is a little-known fact that Margaret Sanger, that pioneer of eugenic solutions to “racial, political, and social problems”, began by targeting Jews, opening her first center in Brownsville, Brooklyn, complete with Yiddish and Italian flyers, aiming for the two immigrant groups whose high reproduction rates were considered a social problem.
Abortion as a Liberal Jewish value has been a stunning success. In New York City, where Sanger first set up shop, 74 percent of all Jewish children are members of the traditionalist Orthodox religious group. Liberal Jews are already panicking over the prospect of a future Jewish population in New York City that is staunchly conservative and religious.
A recent survey of New York City Jews also shows a nearly even split between Mitt Romney and Barack Obama. 46 percent of New York Jews are planning to vote against Obama, and a majority of New York City Jews think that Romney would be better at fixing the economy than B.O. But it is only to be expected that the group for whom abortion isn’t a Jewish value would come to outnumber the group for whom abortion is a Jewish value.
The problem with values is that you have to live with their consequences. When your values dictate that terrorists deserve all the protections of the civilian justice system, then you have to be ready to live with the explosions. If your values dictate minimal population growth, then you have to accept the consequences of extinction. Values that are contrary to survival carry their own natural cost. And when your values are at odds with your interests, then your values might as well be an open window, a loaded revolver or a dose of strychnine.

The great chicken-sandwich controversy has come and gone, leaving a moral lesson as consequential and lasting as the clucking in a hen house. The clucking was media-made – loud, fierce and angry.
And then it was gone. The result, such as it was, was not quite what the media had in mind.
The good guys and the bad guys looked well-cast: doe-eyed innocents, eager to kiss, shout and fondle in pursuit of the love that shouts its name, against evil church folk determined to deprive gay brides of their rightful ration of peau de soie and gay husbands of their rightful perch atop a wedding cake.
The controversy was presented as the latest offensive against same-sex marriage, which most Americans regard as not quite marriage at all, led by a corporation determined to compel everyone to “eat mor chikin,” and wolf it down before the cows come home. The villainy was compounded by the outrage that the corporation was owned by born-again Christians.
