“I need someone to retire at 55 with generous benefits from a government job. I need lawmakers who will pass laws without reading them. I need teachers who refuse to teach kids unless they’re paid twice as much as any worker in their city. I need people to sit on commissions and make rules about lines of work that they’ve never been in.”

“I need a Catholic who’s for abortion. A Jew who’s for Palestine. A Mormon who’s against the Church. A Baptist who’s for evolution. A Methodist who doesn’t believe in god. And a Muslim who believes in destroying America.”

WHO IS THE REAL LUNATIC?
This is the story of Michael A. Stokes, a bank robber serving a 73 year sentence, who decided to rename himself Ophelia Azriel De’lonta and pretend to be a woman.
But in a Democratic run justice system, it’s not enough for the inmate to be crazy, the court has to be just as crazy as he is.
So this is also the story of the Virginia Department of Corrections which not only allowed Michael Stokes to dress up as a woman, but also paid for his psychological counseling and hormone therapy.
But this is also the story of the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, consists of Clinton and Obama appointees, who ruled that the failure to castrate Stokes violates the Eight Amendment’s Cruel and Unusual Punishment provision thereby making it Unconstitutional.

Hillary Clinton presided over the first murder of an American ambassador in thirty years. It was the closest thing to a notable moment in her time as Secretary of State, which concluded, in true Clinton style, with a cover-up, Senate hearings and more finger-wagging.
And yet, despite all that, the media threw her a farewell party in preparation for the 2016 election. Four Americans died in Benghazi and in four years, Hillary Rodham Clinton expects to take the White House.
There is a certain symmetry to that. A year of political exile for every man she left unguarded and unsupported while lavishing millions on mosque renovations, embassy paintings and assorted trinkets. A year for every man whose blood was spilled on the warm streets of Benghazi. Four dead men and four years in which to prepare to do the same thing all over again as President of the United States.
It’s a big job and HRC finally has the experience for it.

SPEAKING OF REPUBLICANS
While the Republican Party leadership decided that the path to victory lies through creating 11 million new Democratic voters, the Conservative blogsphere decided to court that vital Al-Qaeda demographic by screaming that Obama was murdering American 17-year-olds without due process.
I clicked over to the leftist blogsphere half-hoping that it was Backward Day and that they had come out against gun control, abortion and deficit spending. But no such luck. They’re evil, not stupid.
Sure the Republican Party could concentrate on its base. But that’s in-the-box thinking. Out of the box and out of the mind thinking says that it should expand and find a new base. Like illegal aliens and Al Qaeda terrorists.
There’s nothing like the sight of conservative blogs quoting Glenn Greenwald and Noami Wolf to denounce a drone strikes policy that began under the Bush Administration… and then complaining that the left doesn’t care about the legality of drone strikes, when it’s the left that has been yammering about this issue since those same people were hoping that Iraq would become the 51st State.
If those blogs were trying to make the Republican leadership’s decision to embrace Amnesty seem sane by comparison. Mission accomplished.
Despite claims on a dozen blogs that Anwar Al-Awlaki was an innocent American teenager assassinated by a kill order, he was blown to his 72 Virgins because he was standing too close to an Al Qaeda leader. There was no due process involved because if you stand next to an Al Qaeda leader on a battlefield, you will die.
Due process under the American justice system applies to people in the United States, regardless of citizenship, who are arrested and charged with a crime in the United States.
Enemy combatants, whether they are members of an army or a terrorist group, can be killed by the United States military without regard to Due Process. There is no Due Process on the battlefield.
Due Process did not apply when the United States assassinated Admiral Yamamoto, the architect of Pearl Harbor. It would have applied had he been arrested in Hawaii, regardless of whether he was an American citizen or not. It did not apply when he was targeted as a member of an enemy force. It would not have applied even if he had picked up citizenship while living in the United States.
Due Process applies to the legal system. It does not apply to the military targeting enemy personnel. If it had, the United States would have had to check with a lawyer any time it faced a German unit with American traitors in its ranks, bring an indictment and hold a trial. The German Army could have taken back Paris by using them as human shields.
The entire argument is discredited left-wing propaganda from the Bush Administration that some people on the right have decided to scrape off the sidewalk and then put up on their blogs. It depends on the same refusal to distinguish between war and law enforcement that was the linchpin of the left’s entire argument.
If adopting the pro-amnesty and pro-terrorist positions of the Democratic Party is supposed to be the comeback strategy of the Republican Party, then I have to ask, what exactly are we fighting for?
A Republican Party that has the spending, immigration, terrorism and social policies of the Democrats?
Wouldn’t it just be easier to join the Democratic Party?
WAR IS HELL
When waging war, the “due process” that allows the United States to unleash its military on its enemies is not an individualized process; it is the Act of Congress commencing hostilities (with the understanding, of course, that the inherent right of self-defense applies even before Congress can act). Following this congressional action, the conduct of hostilities — including the identification and selection of targets — is a military responsibility under the civilian supervision of the president and the secretary of defense. When waging war, the military can kill our enemies face-to-face in battle, while they sleep in their barracks or encampments, and even when they run away in fear. The deadly force stops when our enemies are hors de combat — for example, incapacitated by wounds or evidencing a clear intent to surrender. Attacking and killing the enemy isn’t assassination; it’s combat.
The intelligence and targeting challenge presented by our enemy’s systematic violation of the laws of war — by hiding amongst civilians, refusing to wear uniforms, etc. — is exactly the same regardless of whether the target is an American or Pakistani or Iraqi. In prior wars, American forces have reacted to targeting challenges not with greater restraint, but with greater firepower — for example, one of the reasons for the firebombing of Japanese cities was the decision by Japanese leaders to disperse key manufacturing facilities across urban areas, rendering European-style daylight bombing raids essentially fruitless. We were faced with the terrible choice between area bombing and leaving much of the enemy’s war machine essentially unmolested — in the midst of an existential struggle for our existence. We chose area bombing.
In the current war, we go to great lengths to avoid targeting the wrong individual (when I was in Iraq, our targeting decisions were typically based on multiple, overlapping pieces of intelligence). Killing the enemy while sparing civilians is sound counterinsurgency, and it is sound morally. But when civilians do die, the responsibility for their deaths lies with the enemy that unlawfully used them as human shields.
If all this sounds harsh, or “chilling,” or scary, that’s because it is. War is hell. And there is no constitutional doctrine that exempts American citizens from that hell when they choose to wage war against their own country.

Obama’s critics have no problem with Obama killing non-U.S. citizens who are waging terrorist war against America. Drone-based killings of jihadists have been going on steadily since the start of the Obama administration—more than under Bush. Did you ever complain about these killings before? No. The killing of Awlaki (plus the unplanned but welcome killing of his jihadist pal and fellow U.S. citizen Samir Kahn) is simply a part of that campaign which presumably you have welcomed and supported. So, again, what relevance does Awlaki’s U.S. citizenship have to this issue? None. He was an enemy waging war on us and seeking to mass murder us. Our government has not suddenly started “killing U.S. citizens,” which is the way you are painting it; rather the government is continuing doing what it has been doing all along, which is killing jihadists…
How does the rule of law require that we deal with a Yemen-based terrorist who is waging war on us and IS a U.S. citizen, any differently than we deal with a Yemen-based terrorist who is waging war on us and is NOT a U.S. citizen?
There is no actual legal difference. From an emotional standpoint, we care about Americans more, but that hardly applies to Jihadists with American citizenship.
The enemy soldier or terrorist has the same legal status regardless of his passport. Once we are at war with him, we may kill him as we choose on the battlefield. Only if he is captured, do additional legal issues arise.
MUSLIM HOSPITALITY IS A BEAUTIFUL THING
Before becoming Prime Minister, David Cameron wrote, “If we want to remind ourselves of British values – hospitality, tolerance and generosity to name just three – there are plenty of British Muslims ready to show us what those things really mean.”
And the Muslim Patrol is busy reminding everyone of the traditional Muslim values of hospitality and tolerance in their latest video.
There are the usual cheerful messages of tolerance and hospitality like “Islam is here in London… this is not a Christian country… Christianity can go to hell…Allah Akbar”
Followed by a warning to Prime Minister David Cameron, “anyone who tries to stop us, we will take their alcohol, we will tell the naked women to cover up and implement Islam upon your own necks, David Cameron.”
“It is mainstream Britain which needs to integrate more with the British Asian way of life, not the other way around,” Cameron said.
And that’s all the Muslim Patrol is doing. It’s integrating mainstream Britain with the Muslim way of life.

HOW ABOUT WE KILL 1,380 PEOPLE FOR THE ENVIRONMENT?
Klick and Wright estimate that the San Francisco ban results in a 46 percent increase in deaths from foodborne illnesses, or 5.5 more of them each year.
There’s an estimated 61 percent rise in ER visits due to E Coli and the estimated cost of all this is over 100 million dollars.
So now let’s consider what a national plastic bag ban would look like based on the national foodborne illness rates.
The CDC estimates that each year roughly 1 in 6 Americans (or 48 million people) gets sick, 128,000 are hospitalized, and 3,000 die of foodborne diseases.
That number will go up to at least 64 million or 1 in 5 Americans. Assuming a 46 percent increase in the national foodborne illness death toll… we end up with 1,380 more people dying under a ban.
It’s not Evil. It’s Environmentalism. But sometimes it can be hard to tell the difference.

Making a map of targets for a killer to use is a bad thing, except when the organization is leftist and the killer is leftist.
As one of the targets on the Southern Poverty Law Center’s map, I am not exactly a fan of this.
The Family Research Council shooter, who pleaded guilty today to a terrorism charge, picked his target off a “hate map” on the website of the ultra-liberal Southern Poverty Law Center which is upset with the conservative group’s opposition to gay rights.
Floyd Lee Corkins II pleaded guilty to three charges including a charge of committing an act of terrorism related to the August 15, 2012 injuring of FRC’s guard. He told the FBI that he wanted to kill anti-gay targets and went to the law center’s website for ideas.
The SPLC and Corkins can always quote Auden. “To-day the deliberate increase in the chances of death, The consious acceptance of guilt in the necessary murder;”
