Somehow I don’t think Holder will visit CAIR and spend most of his time talking about Anti-Semitism. But Obama Inc. keeps showing where its priorities lie and who it stands with.

“Our investigation into this matter remains ongoing – and I want to assure you that my colleagues and I are determined to hold accountable, to the fullest extent of the law, all of those who were responsible for this attack,” Holder said, according to the prepared text of a speech delivered Monday to the Anti-Defamation League. “But I also want to make clear that – just as we will pursue relentlessly anyone who would target our people or attempt to terrorize our cities – the Justice Department is firmly committed to protecting innocent people against misguided acts of retaliation.”

Protecting innocent people against misguided acts of retaliation is how American soldiers in Afghanistan died as they were denied air and artillery support under Obama Inc.

But if Holder’s DOJ were as ruthless and prolific in going after Muslim terrorists the way they are in defending Muslims, the Boston marathon massacre would never have happened.

The backlash against Muslims that Holder and his Islamist pals were whining about never happened. Even the Islamist groups have been forced to admit that.

Ibrahim Hooper of the Council on American-Islamic Relations, which monitors bias and hate crimes against Muslims, said his organization has seen no uptick in reports of harassment, assaults or damage to mosques since the April 15 bombings.

So instead Holder praised his interference in local zoning regulations to carve out special privileges for a mosque.

In July of last year, the Department filed suit against a Tennessee county for discriminating against local Muslims by refusing to allow a new mosque to open.  ADL wrote and filed a brief to aid in this case, on behalf of a broad interfaith coalition.   The congregation encountered vandalism, threats of violence, and steep public opposition.   But the Department obtained a court order requiring county authorities to stand aside and honor First Amendment rights – and the congregation was permitted to worship in their new facility.

Tellingly Holder failed to mention a single specific incident or act of Anti-Semitism that the DOJ dealt with despite the fact that Jews are ten times more likely to be the victims of hate crimes than Muslims.

Holder paid some lip service to the existence of Anti-Semitism, but failed to mention repeated Muslim terrorist attacks against synagogues. Instead he mentioned a fight over a mosque’s zoning issues… without mentioning its extremism.

Two Muslims were just sentenced for conspiring to blow up a synagogue. It would have been the most obvious thing for Holder to have mentioned it. Instead he ignored it and didn’t even bother to deal with the topic and went on to talk about helping build a mosque.

The underlying message in Holder’s speech is that when a Muslim has a zoning problem with a mosque, it’s more important than when Muslims try to blow up a synagogue.

That kind of tolerance of Muslim Anti-Semitism is what has made Europe so dangerous to Jews. And the ADL has chosen to betray its mission by collaborating with it. Holder and Obama Inc. are showing the same willingness to tolerate Muslim Anti-Semitism while endlessly wasting time on the fantastic specter of an Islamophobia that never arrives.
