http://www.frontpagemag.com/2013/davidhornik/fiasco-in-geneva/ “Israel is the sinister, unclean, rabid dog of the region…. The Zionist regime is a regime whose pillars are extremely shaky and is doomed to collapse.” Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei said that on Wednesday to a huge assembly of his Basij militiamen. The Times of Israel noted that “Footage of the event showed […]

From what I recall of my childhood, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s civil rights movement was not universally embraced in the black community. Some blacks were frightened by his actions and angry at the “crazy” colored man for stirring up trouble. “He is making things worse for Negros!”
But MLK became an American icon.
In 1977, world-renowned architect Phillip Johnson was approached by Rev. Robert Schuller with his “crazy” impossible dream. “So, you want to build a glass cathedral in earthquake country without obstructed views to the front, and you have no money?” Rev. Schuller replied, “Yes.” The Crystal Cathedral is now the largest glass building in the world.
Considering that slavery was the norm, founding father Thomas Jefferson calling slavery a “moral depravity” and the greatest threat to the survival of our new nation was a “crazy” thing to say.
Talk about history repeating itself: attempts were made to seduce Jefferson with “fixes” for slavery. If slavery could be made kinder and gentler, that would nullify the need to repeal it. Jefferson did not fall for their trap. He demanded total repeal.

The reality is that the agreement in Geneva with five Western nations takes Iran a giant step closer to becoming a de facto nuclear power. Start with the […]
http://www.gatestoneinstitute.org/4066/france-hollande-popularity There is a possibility that the next presidential election in France will be fought between two political daughters: Martine Aubry, daughter of Jacques Delors, and Marine le Pen, daughter of Jean-Marie le Pen. Neither lady is a political friend of America. Without the EU, many European countries retain their national sovereignty and at least […]
http://freedomoutpost.com/2013/11/army-ranger-1st-lieutenant-michael-behenna-sentenced-25-years-killing-known-terrorist-self-defense/ While GITMO enemy combatants are freed only to go back to the killing fields of jihad, our boys rot in prison for fighting these savages. On March 20th, 2009, Army Ranger 1st Lieutenant Michael Behenna was sentenced to 25 years in prison for killing Ali Mansur, a known Al Qaeda operative while serving in Iraq. […]
https://www.embooks.com/blog/single/its-1938-all-over-again When Hassan Rouhani was elected President of Iran, western leaders declared, in the teeth of stark evidence to the contrary, that this man was a reformer. So they rushed to do a deal with him over Iran’s nuclear programme, considered by the west to be a threat to the free world. But Rouhani does […]
http://ruleofreason.blogspot.com/2013/11/whats-to-like-about-jfk.html The rhetorical question could just as easily be rephrased to elicit the same answers: What’s not to like about JFK? Plenty. Most of the commentary I read on the 50th anniversary of President John F. Kennedy’s assassination on November 22nd 1963 exuded a special, repulsive kind of adulation, combined with almost tearful reminiscences of what the country was […]
http://www.israelnationalnews.com/wap/Item.aspx?type=0&item=174428 Despite a deal reached between Iran and the West, Canada said on Sunday it has no plans to remove the sanctions it has placed on the Islamic Republic. Canada’s Foreign Affairs Minister, John Baird, said he was “deeply skeptical” of the newly brokered nuclear deal with Iran, adding that Canada’s sanctions will remain in […]
http://blogs.jpost.com/content/icrc-not-immoral-or-it Minister Yair Shamir reviews Israel’s strong legal position awarding it rights to and in Judea and Samaria. And he does so directly in contradistinction to an opinion published in this paper by local International Red Cross appointee, one Juan Pedro Schaerer. Shamir, son of former Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Yitzhak Shamir, sums up the problem he has with […]
