Mandela said U.S. President George W. Bush covets the oil in Iraq “because Iraq produces 64 percent of the oil in the world. What Bush wants is to get hold of that oil.” In fact Iraq contributes to only 5 percent of world oil exports.
Mandela, a frequent critic of US policy on Iraq, also said that countries were only challenging the mandate of the United Nations now because Secretary-General Kofi Annan is black.
A threat to world peace “I have also said when the secretary-generals were white, we never had the question of any country ignoring the United Nations,” he said.

Roger Waters was accused of hating Jews. So he decided to give an interview to a left-wing outlet that accused Jews of drinking blood to disprove these allegations… by claiming that the Jewish Lobby controls America and that Jews are the new Nazis.

Roger Waters will not play in WW2 Berlin or Israel. He will however play in the People’s Republic of China, Turkey and Russia. Because it’s not like they’re occupying anything.

Instead though, Obama was arrogant enough to think that he could establish total liberal dominance by breaking the NRA. If Obama had been a little less arrogant, he would have picked the low-hanging fruit of amnesty, and made it nearly impossible for the GOP to win elections in a decade.

The Swarthmore College Hillel has declared that it’s an “Open Hillel” and will no longer be bound by any such outdated Hillelian notions as not supporting terrorists who call for genocide.
But Swarthmore College’s post-Hillel Open Hillel claims that the original Hillel, the Jewish sage the org is named after, would be totally down with pluralistically killing Jews,
“If I am not for myself, who will be for me? But if I am only for myself, what am I? If not now, when?” Hillel famously said. It’s easy to go all social justice and concentrate on the second and third sentences, but the overriding message is that if you are not for your own existence, then you aren’t going to be able to help anyone either.

But like the New York Times, I am also deeply concerned about the lack of places for graffiti vandals to vandalize. Can I recommend that they explore using the New York Times Building at 620 8th Ave as their canvas?
It’s okay for the New York Times to offer up buildings in minority and working class neighborhoods to be vandalized. So why not help the endangered graffiti artist by letting them mess up their building. Considering how ugly the Times’ generic skyscraper is, it could use a few gang tags.

Imagine the consequences if the British Crown had implemented a plan to require background checks and mental health tests administered by Crown-appointed doctors in the colonies. Doubtless every American colonial who applied for the right to own a muzzle-loading musket and a pouch of power and ball would have been denied and sent on his way, possibly to jail if the doctors deemed their loyalty to the King suspect and “unreliable.” There would have been no American Revolution.
That policy would have been complemented with the Crown’s own “Fast & Furious” campaign to demonize gun ownership by secretly selling guns to frontier Indians so they could better raid defenseless settlers and “prove” that guns were “dangerous.”
The only purpose of gun controls in the U.S. is to prevent Americans from defending themselves against common criminals – and to rely on a lethargic government entity for protection – and uncommon ones in the guise of enforcers of “public safety.”

Dr. Lee was the surgeon assigned to perform open heart surgery. What was originally scheduled to last four hours ended up lasting twelve. My heart was severely damaged. Dr. Lee later told me the surgery was one of the most difficult of his career. He also said I only had a few days to live without the surgery.
Thanks to the excellent insurance I carried I was able to receive life-saving medical treatment at St. Louis University.
This week I found out I am going to lose my insurance. The company that carried me is leaving the Missouri market. I will have to find something else.
I am one of the millions who will be looking for new insurance. God willing, I will be able to keep my doctors at St. Louis University. I trust them. They saved my life. Please pray for me and the millions of working Americans who are going through this same ordeal.
Why is our government doing this to us?
The short answer is that it’s not our government. It’s the government that controls our country. The two are not the same.
