SAVAGE ATTACK IN BELGIUM IN JEWISH MUSEUM….TOM GROSS
Unsurprisingly, even though these latest anti-Semitic murders happened many hours ago, they are not mentioned anywhere on the home page of the New York Times at the present time, which instead is carrying anti-Israel stories. Business as usual at the NY Times and elsewhere in the Western media – an international media that has done its fair share to whip up anti-Semitic incitement (often through its total fabrications about Israel) that leads to attacks such as the one today in Brussels. On The Guardian home page at the present time, there is a mention of a shooting in Brussels without mentioning it happened at a Jewish institution. <http://www.ynetnews.com/articles/0,7340,L-4523166,00.html> <http://www.timesofisrael.com/belgian-pm-condemns-abhorrent-attack-on-brussels-jewish-museum-that-kills-3/> When I have mentioned anti-Semitism in Belgium earlier this month (see item 7 here: <http://www.tomgrossmedia.com/mideastdispatches/archives/001448.html> ) several readers wrote to say I was exaggerating. I think not. I would stand by my claim (items 4 and 5 here: <http://www.tomgrossmedia.com/mideastdispatches/archives/001450.html> ) that the recent poll into worldwide anti-Semitism has, if anything, understated the problem, not overstated it as The Guardian and other papers claim. Much of this anti-Semitism is being fueled under the guise of anti-Zionism by some in the news media (including at the New York Times, BBC and The Guardian), some in academia and many so-called human rights organizations.
