In this most evil world it must be understood that the meek shall indeed inherit the earth; but sadly six feet under. Until the world is truly made up of a perfect United Nations and not the sham U.N. Temple of Hypocrisy that exists in all its malevolence in New York City, men and women of good will must look to their own safety.
The same applies to nation states and, in today’s frightening world, it applies in particular to the embattled and increasingly besieged and friendless State of Israel. In the vortex of evil that exists in the Middle East, Muslims are busy killing Christians, Yazidis, and when they can, Jews. The very angels in heaven must weep at what mankind has wrought in what once was considered the cradle of civilization.
The towering calamity and cause for so much misery and growing violence, not only in the Middle East but in many parts of the world, must be laid at the feet of the present incumbent in the White House.
President Obama’s highly suspect foreign policy, in which he turned a blind eye to the millions of Iranians pleading in the streets of Tehran for U.S. support against the toxic power of the irrational mullahs, condemned the world to the growing nightmare of an Iranian nuclear weapon.
Similarly, Obama’s fury at Egypt’s overthrow of the Muslim Brotherhood was indicative of where this president’s sympathies seem to lie; not with a pro-democratic rule of law but with the practitioners of Islamic supremacy and hatred of non-Muslims.
The rise of ISIS, replete with the ghastly videos of beheaded Americans, Brits and others, would not have occurred if Obama had not refused to require a U.S. military presence in Iraq. Even during the presidential debate in 2012 with Mitt Romney, Obama specifically said that he would not enter into any agreement with the Iraqi government to station a residual American military force. Thus ISIS and the horrors we now witness can be laid at this president’s feet.
Of course, many will object to what I write. But rank appeasement is in the air and it is Munich all over again. Despite the clearest of all warnings, there still will be those calling for “peace now” even with an implacable and demonic Islamic enemy from whom the only peace will be that of the grave. How witheringly tragic for all humanity.
In an earlier article from January 28th 2011, when Hillary Clinton was still Secretary of State, I wrote the following:
“With Obama and Clinton uttering the most bizarre and naive statements about the so-called ‘Arab Spring’ we are witnessing a foreign policy gone mad. Unless they come to their senses soon, Obama and Clinton, by their ignorance and foolishness, will be seen to have been complicit in the establishment of an Islamic State and a caliphate in the fast dissolving failed states of Iraq and Syria.”
Well it has come to pass and I wish my fears had been proven groundless. Since Clinton’s vacuous term ended, an even more obtuse Secretary of State, John Kerry, has arrived and compounded the idiocy that passes for United States foreign policy.
ISIS, or Islamic State, now exists in vast swathes of Iraq and Syria. All the main cities in Iraq have fallen to ISIS and now Baghdad itself is all but surrounded by the Islamist horde, which by some accounts is but a mere one mile from the city.
Are we to witness in the 21st century yet another fearsome massacre in Baghdad rivaling the horrors that Tamerlane once inflicted upon that same Baghdad in June, 1401, with the slaughter and beheadings of so many that the heads of the dead were piled up into 120 tall towers.
Thousands of men, women and children have already been slaughtered by the Islamo-Nazis, many beheaded in atrocities not seen in living memory since the crimes against humanity perpetrated by Nazi Germany.
The brave Kurds have been begging for months for modern weapons to beat back the head choppers of ISIS who are overrunning scores of Kurdish villages and committing hideous crimes against humanity. Yet still this president refuses to authorize the immediate airlift of vital and desperately needed modern weapons for the defense of the hapless Kurds. Why the delay?
The Obama administration and the State Department have already allowed Lebanon to be subsumed into the Islamic Republic of Iran under its proxy, Hezbollah. Jordan is a ripe fruit ready to be plucked by the Islamists and jihadists who hate the Bedouin Hashemite rulers of the largely Arab Palestinian population.
Thus, the Jewish state is bracing as the jihadists topple one Arab state after another in a frenzy of Islamic violence and horror, shrieking Allahu Akbar, the Arabic and Muslim war cry that has echoed down the bloody centuries for fourteen hundred years. But Obama condemns not Islamo-Nazi depredations. Instead, he aims his misplaced ire at the building of Jewish homes in Israel’s capital city, Jerusalem. What strange pathology exists here?
The two countries that Israel had peace treaties with, Egypt and Jordan, will have no further need to honor or adhere to those paper treaties should Islamic regimes take hold. So far both Jordan’s King Abdullah and Egypt’s President al-Sisi have held back the depredations of the Muslim Brotherhood, Al Qaida, IS, Hamas, Hezbollah, and the evil puppet master, Iran.
In return for peace – albeit an Arab frigidly cold peace – Israel gave away 90% of the territories it had liberated from Egypt and Jordan during its 1967 defensive war against Arab genocidal violence.
The Arabs, who call themselves Palestinians, were already given land by Israel in Gaza, and in Judea and Samaria (the West Bank), but all who have eyes to see and ears to hear know how worthless land for peace has truly meant.
Israeli concessions were, and are, repaid by the fraudulent Palestinian Arabs with unspeakable terror. Since the failed 1993 Oslo Peace Accords, the hoped for peace between Israel and the Palestinian Authority has resulted in the murder of thousands of Israeli men, women and children. Peace Now? Only believable in a terrifying Kafkaesque world.
In that same earlier article I wrote more than three years ago, I also penned the following:
“Israel is inexplicably hated and loathed by most of the world even as it strives to seek peace with the Arab and Muslim world – a vain hope if ever there was one – so it should now immediately take the following steps to secure its security and strategic strength. Israel must at the very least retake the Philadelphi Corridor. This is the strip of land between Israel and the Mediterranean which would separate Gaza from Egypt but which Secretary of State, Condoleeza Rice, under President George W. Bush urged Israel to vacate as a gesture towards peace. Some peace!
“The farce that has been the ongoing and utterly fruitless negotiations with the Palestinian Authority should be ended immediately and, with Jordan’s likely slide into an Islamic state, all of Biblical Jewish Judea and Samaria (the so-called West Bank) should at long last be annexed.
“Most of the world will still hate the Jewish state but, at least, Israel will have taken the most prudent and long overdue strategic and tactical decisions. Better to be hung as a lion than a sheep.”
Since I wrote those words, Israel did not recover the Philadelphi Corridor, resulting in vast inflows of lethal missiles and mortars entering the Gaza Strip through the hundreds of smuggling tunnels. Endless attempts at negotiating peace with the Palestinian Authority, which allied itself with the Hamas terror organization occupying Gaza, proved again and again to be exercises in futility.
After murdering three Israeli teenagers last July, 2014, Hamas followed up with a barrage of nearly four thousand rockets fired from Gaza onto Israeli civilian targets leading to yet another war. Before that in 2008 and in 2012, Hamas perpetrated similar crimes which led to Israel forced to act against the aggression.
This then is where matters stand. Mahmoud Abbas, a Holocaust denier and putative head of the Palestinian Authority and the Fatah terror organization, launched a vitriolic attack upon Israel at the United Nations thus proving yet again that he is no true peace partner with the Jewish state.
Israeli Prime Minister, at the same United Nations logically reminded the world’s delegates that Hamas is ISIS and ISIS is Hamas – that there is no difference. But in the United Nations General Assembly, with its collection of the worst human rights countries ever found in one place, there is no room for logic. That building is better described as the Theater of the Absurd.
President Obama chose instead in that same loony tunes General Assembly to lecture the world that ISIS, the Islamic state, is not Islamic; yet again repeating the politically correct but historically incorrect mantra that “Islam is a religion of peace.” In doing so he contributed yet more idiocy to a world gone mad.
