I could not have prepared better for Lou Dobb’s question last night regarding Trump’s weaker polling with the weaker sex than having watched this video — “I Thought You Should Know.”
The video introduces a brutal rape of a 12-year-old girl that took place in 1975 in Arkansas. A 41-year-old man named Thomas Alfred Taylor stood trial. His defense counsel was a freshly minted lawyer named Hillary Rodham. She got him off.
Once you start reading more deeply into this case, thanks to the crack research of Alana Goodman for the Washington Free Beacon, which broke the story open in 2014, it becomes clear: This case is Hillary Clinton’s Chappaquiddick — the original moral stain, which, as with Ted Kennedy, once exposed, becomes her ultimate undoing.
Clinton’s involvement in this Arkansas child-rape trial was not a matter of providing counsel to a defendant, as our system requires. It was jumping through legal hoops to win a dirty victory — a dirty victory for a child-rapist by the woman who presents herself as lifelong champion of women and children.
Some key points.
Clinton demanded that this grievously injured 12-year-old undergo a psychiatric exam, later depicting her to the court as “seeking out older men.” This is already monstrous; however, listening to the audio unearthed by Goodman at the University of Arkansas library intensifies the horrors. “I had him take a polygraph, which he passed, which forever destroyed my faith in polygraphs,” we hear Hillary Rodham Clinton herself say, laughing. It is chilling. It is also sickening.
It gets worse. After key forensic evidence obtained from a swatch of fabric cut out of the accused child-rapist’s underwear went missing, Clinton pounced, packing up the hole-missing underwear to take with her to secure an expert’s clearance of the remaining fabric. She tells this part of the story as if it were some hilarious caper. It was this expert opinion that drove the plea bargan that Clinton would secure, taking the first degree rape charge down to unlawful fondling.
Due to this “unlawful fondling,” the child-victim was told by doctors that it was “99 percent” positive that when she grew up, she would be unable to bear children.
Because of Goodman’s reporting, the Washington Free Beacon was banned from further research at the University of Arkansas library — whose gate-keeper-dean is yes, a Hillary Clinton donor. (Come now, this is just par for the gangland Clinton course.)
Too late. Nothing could stop these piercing thirty-, forty-year-old echoes — primal screams — from reverberating. The victim — for many years she had not even realized that the defense attorney in her case was The Hillary Clinton — would hear them, too.
In 2014, she gave her first extended interview to the Daily Beast.
“Hillary Clinton took me through Hell,” the victim said. The Daily Beast agreed to withhold her name out of concern for her privacy as a victim of sexual assault.
The victim said if she saw Clinton today, she would call her out for what she sees as the hypocrisy of Clinton’s current campaign to fight for women’s rights compared to her actions regarding this rape case so long ago.
“I would say [to Clinton], ‘You took a case of mine in ’75, you lied on me… I realize the truth now, the heart of what you’ve done to me. And you are supposed to be for women? You call that [being] for women, what you done to me? And I hear you on tape laughing.”
Last month, for the first time, the victim came forward under her own name, Kathy Shelton, 54, in an interview with Alana Goodman, now with the Daily Mail.
‘I don’t think [Clinton’s] for women or girls. I think she’s lying, I think she said anything she can to get in the campaign and win,’ Shelton said. ‘If she was [an advocate for women and children], she wouldn’t have done that to me at 12 years old.’
While Shelton gave an anonymous interview to the Daily Beast in 2014, she said wants to start speaking out publicly, in part because ‘I think a lot of people would look at [Clinton] in a different way’ after hearing her story directly.
‘I want to speak to the world. Out there at the White House, so everyone can hear me,’ said Shelton. ‘That’s always been my thing since the anger’s built up. I want to speak out like [Clinton] does, and let the whole world hear it.’
The whole world should hear it, and, again, especially that part of the world that includes women who support Hillary Clinton as s champion of women and children.
Chappaquiddick exposed the rot in the soul of Ted Kennedy, likely dashing his Kennedy-esque White House hopes after the details of how and why it was that he left Mary Jo Kopechne to die in the shallow water below the wooden bridge between Martha’s Vineyard and Chappaquiddick Island became widely known.
Hillary Clinton’s moral crime against a little country girl named Kathy Shelton was quite different. For one thing, Kathy Shelton did not die, not in the literal sense. Due to the unpunished rape, she would never bring children into the world, but the court doesn’t address such things. The fact is, Clinton built a legal case that was as indifferent to human life and to decency itself that it is possible to build. It was an act of depravity. As we can hear for ourselves in the audio tapes, Hillary Rodham Clinton was proud of it.
I challenge anyone, especially any woman, who supports Clinton over Trump to review this case, and then her vote. It is the least one can do for the lifelong suffering of Kathy Shelton.
