Mitch McConnell’s Lie 75 million Americans are watching all of this. And it is very, very safe to say they will not forget. Jeffrey Lord

So, of course, one of the Establishment’s favorite media outlets put the news front and center. The headline in The Washington Post said this:
McConnell says Trump provoked mob; hearings underway for Biden nominees
The story began this way:
“Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) pointedly blamed President Trump on Tuesday for having ‘provoked’ the violent mob that stormed the Capitol on Jan. 6.”
To be polite? This Trump-incited-riot business is bunk. Debunked bunk.
Where to start? How about with the timeline of events?
Over there at Conservative Review is this headline:
Timeline reveals Capitol Hill riot began 20 mins before end of Trump’s speech
The timeline shows that the violence at the Capitol building began 20 minutes before Trump finished his speech that Wednesday afternoon.
“The New York Times compiled video footage with timestamps to document nearly every moment of Jan. 6 siege of the Capitol building in Washington D.C.
The timeline shows that the violence at the Capitol building began 20 minutes before Trump finished his speech that Wednesday afternoon.
Roughly 20 minutes before the end of his speech is when scuffles began to break out between protesters and police on Capitol Hill, according to the NYT’s timeline.”
Got that Mitch? There (amazingly) is The New York Times showing exactly that the problems at the Capitol were already happening before the President had even finished his speech – not as a result of his speech. And in that speech he said this, bold print for emphasis supplied:
“I know that everyone here will soon be marching over to the Capitol building to peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard.”
Peacefully and patriotically. That is hardly “provoking”a mob. In other words, the idea that the President provoked a riot is, as I said, debunked bunk. It is, yes, a flat out lie.
Let’s be clear what Mitch McConnell is doing. Along with the rest of the American Establishment – corporations, the media and more – Mitch is trying to silence 75 million Trump voters. They are to be silenced in the Senate and House, silenced everywhere. Not listened to, not debated with – just silenced. Senators Ted Cruz and Josh Hawley – who had the guts to stand up for the integrity of the American election system and the Constitution? The call is out to expel them. Joe Biden – Mr. Unity and Healing himself – compares them to Nazis.
As this is written the latest to sign on with silencing conservatives is, of all places, Bed, Bath and Beyond and Kohl’s. Chain stores whose wares have nothing to do with politics are now suddenly saying they are all about politics. Yes indeed, these two outlets cannot abide their own customers if they are Trump supporters – and they are giving those customers the proverbial middle finger by….dumping My Pillow.
Yes, you read that right. Out of the blue the fact that My Pillow founder Mike Lindell is a staunch Trump supporter has led both chain stores to stop carrying My Pillow products.
Well, there goes my next visit to Bed, Bath and Beyond. If they don’t want my business, I can go elsewhere to a store that doesn’t believe its customers’ politics are their business.
Mitch McConnell’s statement is vividly illustrative of exactly why Donald Trump was elected in the first place – and why those 75 million Americans staunchly supported his re-elected.
Bluntly put? The American Establishment is corrupt. It has betrayed the American people, for whom they have nothing but elitist contempt. The disdain dripping from Bed, Bath and Beyond and Kohl’s is simply the tip of the iceberg. Hunter Biden is but one example of how the game works.
Now that contempt for the American people is leading to outright fascism, as the calls to silence conservatives in the media grow louder and louder.
75 million Americans are watching all of this. And it is very, very safe to say they will not forget.
