A Compendium Of Hate Crime Hoaxes: Jussie Smollett’s Was Just The Tip Of The Iceberg Armando Simón
There are opinions, announcements and news events that the media hivemind suppresses through news blackouts believing that if a news event is not reported then it is not news, and people will not know, similar to the philosophical conundrum of, if a tree falls in the forest and there is no one around to hear, has it made a noise? One of these taboo topics is hate crime hoaxes, since it jars with the media hivemind’s goal of convincing people, particularly blacks, of the idea of “systemic racism” in our society as a means of promoting a race war and peddling CRT.
Over recent years, I have cataloged a large number of hate crime hoaxes involving Muslims, gays, and blacks (I have also compiled a long list of fraudulent accusations of rape, but that is a topic for another time). The reason I have done so stems from my research background: I prefer data (i.e., facts) as opposed to verbosity. If I write an eloquent essay stating that hoaxes are common, a leftist can counter with an equally eloquent essay stating that they are rare (this has occurred in other topics with sophists writing that the media hivemind is impartial and that there is no censorship in universities). But, if I cite facts, a leftist’s verbal diarrhea is ineffective.
Here, then, are some of the participants in the Oppression Olympics:
At Emory University, a black employee vandalized vending machines and wrote racist graffiti and swastikas before being discovered. The university did not disclose the race of the employee.
A black woman pretended to be a 6-foot-tall white Klansman and sent death threats to her neighbors.
A black student at East Carolina University posted a racist invitation to a fraternity party that read, “No blacks.”
When racist graffiti was found in Parkway Central High School in Chesterfield, Missouri, it was time for a collective whining and temper tantrum. And when it was found that a black student had written it? The superintendent said that the culprit’s race “does not diminish the hurt it caused or the negative impact it has on our entire community.” Four years previously, the identical incident occurred.
Samantha Wells, a student at St. Olaf College, claimed that she had received a racist, threatening, note which threw the campus in turmoil and resulted in racist insults at whites. A hoax.
Michigan State University was in an uproar after a coed found a hangman’s “noose” in the residence hall. The administration beat its chest and issued the mandatory “We won’t stand for this hate crime!” dribble and called the police. The police discovered that “the hate object” was actually someone’s shoelaces that had been lost and found on the floor of the residence. The way the shoelaces were packed at the factory could seem to resemble a noose – but only if you really, really, really, really tried. When it was first reported, the college president, Lou Anna Simon, said, “I want to recognize the courage it took for the student to report this incident.”
Fynn Ajani Arthur, a black student at Goucher College, wrote racist graffiti against Latinos and blacks (“all niggers on campus would be killed”), including himself, with the usual KKK/swastika kitsch. The usual demonstration by blacks, along with their usual demands took place before he was found out and arrested.
A sports team has Banana Fridays. They left the uneaten bananas in the locker room for whoever wanted them. A visiting black football team saw the bananas and howled that it was racist.
Dauntarius Williams, is a Kansas State student who also claimed to be the victim of racist graffiti. Student activists used the “incident” to demand a “multicultural center.” Even after the story was proven to be false, the media continued to report it as true. At the same college Broderick Burse found a racist note pasted to her door that she had posted herself.
In Smyrna, Delaware, four white men approached Ashley Boyer and threatened to kill her. According to her Facebook posting, the men had been caught and charges filed. The police had no record of any of this.
A black child urinated on a 5-year-old black girl. A white man, a convicted sex offender, was falsely accused and arrested before it was revealed to have been a lie.
An unnamed Drake University student admitted sending herself racist letters. “To demonstrate shared commitment to Drake University’s students of color, the campus community will join together to paint the Painted Street Black, a powerful statement of solidarity and anti-racism. This historic action is intended to be pivotal moment in university history.” Yes, you read that right.
Toni Christina Jenkins, a black nursing student working at a restaurant, received a traumatic racist insult from a customer in a receipt. She also received $10,000 from the subsequent internet campaign. She was so sweet: she donated some of the money to her church. She lied. The customer is suing her.
Tenasha Ballard, a waitress in IHOP was shocked – shocked, I say! – at finding pancakes left behind by white men that had the letters “KKK” carved on them.
Of course, the NAACP had to be involved in the person of one Rev. Jerrod Moultrie, who was stopped for a traffic violation and was subjected to demeaning racial profiling – a complete lie, as evidenced by the officer’s bodycam.
The principals, assistant principals, and superintendents from both high schools in the Piedmont Unified School District jumped at the chance for indoctrination of faculty and students on the usual “systemic racism” claptrap when a children’s jumping rope was found in a tree and someone thought it was a “noose.”
Eastern Michigan University students saw KKK graffiti written on a dorm, having been made by a black felon named Eddie Curlin.
A Bowling Green State University snowflake reported seeing a KKK person in a building – which turned out to be the dust cover for a piece of equipment.
Oberlin College was thrown in a panic when a KKK figure was sighted. The Atlantic wrote an article full of indignation. It was someone wrapped up in a blanket.
Just before the presidential election, a black church in Mississippi was set on fire and spray-painted with the words “Vote Trump.” The Washington Post and The Atlantic blamed it on (who else?) Trump. The perpetrator was Andrew McClinton, a black member of the congregation.
Near Sacramento, Romey Kang’s face was beaten up by a “Caucasian man in a white shirt” for no other reason than “he didn’t like the color of my skin.” But then the “Caucasian man in a white shirt” became two “Caucasian men in a white shirt.” Then the two “Caucasian men in a white shirt” became three “Caucasian men in a white shirt.” Then, local security cameras showed that he was lying. Thanks to Yahoo and CBS, Kang received $20,000 through GoFundMe to help him get over the trauma.
At an auto repair shop cars were vandalized and swastika and KKK kitsch were written. Security cameras showed two black men doing it.
An Indian-owned business was set on fire in Charlotte-Mecklenburg, with the message, “Our newly elected president Donald Trump is our nation builder for White America. You all know that. We want our country back on the right track. We need to get rid of Muslims, Indians and all immigrants.” It was signed White American. Curtis Flournoy, a black man did it.
18-year-old Clifton Eutsey in Buffalo had a BMW that was vandalized with the usual racist and anti-gay kitsch, as well as a “Trump for President” message. Eutsey was arrested for insurance fraud and a host of other charges.
During Black History Month – which sometimes takes all year – a man spray-painted racial slurs on the Cecil B. Moore mural and at Brightside Academy and Habitat for Humanity in Philadelphia. Who was behind this racist, white supremacist outrage? A black man, according to videos at the location.
The leftist magazine ProPublica published a tear-jerking story about a 15-year-old black girl in Michigan who was sent to jail for not doing her homework. There were instant cries of indignation over this child being sent to jail for such a trivial matter, which reveals the “systemic racism” in this country. Except that in reality, her probation was revoked for violation of probation rules. For years, the little darling had engaged in theft and several assaults on her mother.
Police determined that Adwoa Lewis had actually fabricated her story that she had been harassed in New York by four Trump supporters who later slashed her tires.
Rep. John Thompson in Minnesota tried to avoid getting a parking ticket by claiming that a cop pulled him over for “driving while black.” He had a suspended driver’s license and had been driving erratically. Thompson’s advice to the policeman? “What you’re doing is wrong to black men, and you need to stop that,” because black men should not be penalized for breaking the law.
A “noose” was found in New York City, and naturally there followed the usual tsunami of repetitious horrified expressions and parroting about racism and yada, yada, yada, best illustrated by then-Gov. Andrew Cuomo: “I am disgusted by the recent discovery of a noose – the epitome of hatred and an evil icon of our nation’s racist past – in Harlem’s Marcus Garvey Park.” Cuomo’s later statement read, “New York is no place for hate, and the progress we’ve made as a society will not be undone by the work of a few cowards.” It was a rope that was used in construction scaffolding.
In Houston, a little black girl was gunned down. Her mother said it had been by one of those people who are the source of all evil in the world, a white man. A hack journalist and BLM supporter by the name of Shaun King fingered Robert Cantrell as the murderer simply because he was white. Cantrell committed suicide. It turned out that the murderers were two black men who were indulging in the black pastime of killing other black people through drive-by shootings. No remorse was expressed by King.
And then there was the incident where one of the black cadet candidates at the Air Force Academy Preparatory School wrote racist graffiti in the dorm room, which created the usual media frenzy and had Lt. Gen. Jay Silveria pompously posturing before the cameras, so full of indignation.
A Hispanic waitress in Texas decided that blacks shouldn’t be the only ones getting sympathy falsely accusing people. In this instance, she accused deputies of leaving racial slurs in a receipt.
Indeed, why should blacks have all the fun? Why shouldn’t Asians? Right after the election, Kathy Mira Tu, a student at the University of Minnesota, wrote on her Facebook page that a white man assaulted her and she punched him in the throat, whereupon she called the police and they arrested him. The police have no record of any of it and Tu deleted her post.
The above incidents are a small fraction of the fake hate crimes which I have cataloged and which I cannot present in toto because of space. The lesson is that the Jussie Smollett, Tawana Brawley, Bubba Wallace episodes are anything but rare.
