A RESPONSE TO DINESH D’SOUZA…..WHAT DID WE KNOW ABOUT OBAMA? PLENTY

The full quote:
“Come to think of it, what did we ever really know about Obama? He is certainly the least-known figure to reach the presidency. The political mystery of his agenda is compounded by the psychological mystery of the man. Since he is our president, however, we had better try and figure out who he is and what he intends to do with America and the world. This book provides the key.””
Well, Dinesh, many of us knew what he was about when he first started his campaign. And when we told our liberal relatives and friends they became alienated from us. Not only would they not talk about politics with us, but they cut down all communications with us.
We knew that his mother was a Communist and that he had close relations with Marshall Davis and “Rules for Radicals” Saul Alinski.
We were disturbed by his easy association with terrorists Billy Ayers and his terrorist wife Bernadine Dohrn.
His associations with Jew-Haters Rev. Wright, Louis Farrakhan, Merrill McPeake, and Rashid Khalidi (to name just a few) were out in the open.
His childhood attendance at a madrassa in Indonesia did not instill confidence in his beliefs.
The adulation of him, the emperor-like posters, and the unwillingness to question him was there for all to see.
Many of us are not the least bit surprised about what we got. Contrary to what many people think, he and his administration are completely transparent. He is effectively ruling by decree. If he can’t get legislation that he wants, then he issues regulations instead. If Americans don’t want what he thinks is best for us, so what, they pass it anyway even if it is done in the middle of the night by his rubber stamp Duma-Congress.
People complain that something is or isn’t in one of his bills. They are missing the whole intent of the bill. Health Care reform is virtually indecipherable with one section referring to another that is subsequently modified by an amendment that is further modified by another amendment. But, buried in it all is the granting of sweeping powers to individuals in the executive branch.
Obama was an open book. Obama is an open book. There are no surprises.
