Trumpism Is On the March Whoever is inaugurated on January 20, the spirit of Trumpism, which is the spirit of America, is not vanquished. By Roger Kimball

https://amgreatness.com/2020/12/12/trumpism-is-on-the-march/

I confess that I do not usually read columns by David Axelrod, the former senior advisor and campaign strategist for Barack Obama. But I chanced upon “History will scorn the cowards who fear Trump,” one of his CNN columns that was linked at RealClearPolitics, and I glanced through it. It is the usual partisan anti-Trump stuff, full of animadversions about President Trump’s “appalling attempt to undermine democracy,” etc. No surprise there. And let us acknowledge that there are plenty of columns written from the opposite end of the political spectrum that are equally partisan.

What interested me about Axelrod’s column was not its partisan nature—that, as I say, comes with the territory—but rather the heat and direction of its rhetoric. Axelrod is a canny writer, and his column is an artfully wrought statement, not so much for its argument—Trump and his supporters are terrible for challenging the election, etc.—but for its cunning deployment of utopian virtue signaling. “History,” he says at the end, will not only scorn Trump and all his works, but it will also honor those who “showed courage and fidelity to the rule of law during this time of trial.”

“History,” you see. I would like to know what History will think myself. I sadly acknowledge that I do not know. I am not privy to her secrets. Only people like David Axelrod (and his former boss, Barack Obama) know them, or pretend they know them, just as they know that they are on the side of the angels and that Donald Trump and his crew are nasty “authoritarian” dispensers of “blatant lies” setting a “chilling precedent” by daring to challenge the 2020 presidential election.

Some people with a macabre sense of humor will find all this funny. They will chuckle as they juxtapose Axelrod’s talk of “fidelity to the rule of law” with the erupting boils of scandal surrounding what Rudy Giuliani apostrophized as the Biden Crime Family. They will smile when they recall Barack Obama’s refusal to enforce the country’s immigration laws when the state of Arizona attempted to police its Southern border. (“The rule of law? We’re beyond all that. We’re for the rule of virtue.”) And they will be rolling in the aisles with laughter when they contrast Axelrod’s high dudgeon about Trump’s efforts to contest the election with the behavior of Hillary’s supporters in 2016.

Why Some States Are Ripe for Election Fraud Jeff Davidson

https://townhall.com/columnists/jeffdavidson/2020/12/12/why-some-states-are-ripe-for-election-fraud-n2581445

It’s been nearly six weeks since the election and electoral votes in swing states are in flux. Texas, joined by at least 17 other states, sought to sue Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, and Georgia for unconstitutional changes to 2020 election Laws. The U.S. Supreme Court, however, ruled that Texas has no standing.

Texas and fellow litigants had a legal precedent from seven weeks ago. On October 26, 2020, the U.S. Supreme Court rejected a bid by a 5 to 3 margin from Wisconsin Democrats “to extend the deadline for counting mail-in ballots received after Election Day.”

Apart from all the squabbles, legal wrangling, and controversy, what makes Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, Georgia, Arizona, and Nevada conducive to election fraud and criminal activity, and less so in Florida, North Carolina, or Ohio?

Concentrated Population Centers

Examining the population centers of the six states still in question, something unmistakable and rather remarkable emerges.

Here are the largest populated cities in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania: Philadelphia (1,591,800), Pittsburgh (294,860), Allentown (122,623), Erie (94,619), Reading (88,521), Scranton (77,218), Bethlehem (76,370), Lancaster (59,392), Levittown (51,726), and Harrisburg (49,301). So, in adding up the numbers, Philadelphia’s population outflanks the nine next largest cities combined. In short, the state is top-heavy and by concentrating fraudulent activities in Philadelphia, a political party could swing the state to their candidate.

THE POLITICAL “MIRACLES” OF CHANUKAH BY LARRY LEVINE *****

We are in the season of Miracles, Chanukah, the festival of lights, Festivus, and our Presidential election.

To the amazing miracles we have all recently observed in a year bereft of many.

Yes, 2020 will go down as a very “interesting” year, a year of miracles and coincidences.

First, the miracles of our election, the defining event of our generation.

A few weeks after the election, a vaccine was announced from not one but at least three major pharmaceutical companies. Anthony Fauci and major media had criticized Trump for asserting that a vaccine would be ready by the election. Fauci and the Trump detractors all changed their minds when the pharmaceutical companies announced this … when the coast was clear.

Those companies compete with the immaculate conception for birthing these vaccines without any help from operation “warp” speed from the Trump administration.

Yes, it is a miracle.

In a “Festivus” miracle not seen for generations, Donald Trump received ten million more votes than he did in 2016. Everyone went to sleep on Nov 3 thinking that Trump would win in a landslide but alas, millions of votes appeared late at night out of nowhere to give Joe Biden the lead strategically only in the four most crucial swing states.

More miracles to observe:

Dead people arose only to vote for Biden and then go back to their long eternal sleep, or the next Democrat election.

With time running out, Democrat voters could take one vote and extend them out to 8 or more by running it through the machine multiple times, it is a MIRACLE.

There was a “flood” of epic proportions not seen since the red sea parted; the state farm arena in Georgia was closed, leaving only a few Democrats to count the absentee ballots without Republican observers until late in the evening.

It turned out to be a toilet that overflowed.

Our Chinese Sister Cities: “Use the Countryside to Surround the City” by Judith Bergman

“While American local governments value such “exchanges” for financial and cultural reasons, ‘exchange’ (交流) has always been viewed as a practical political tool by Beijing, and all of China’s ‘exchange’ organizations have been assigned political missions”. — China’s Influence & American Interests, Report of the Working Group on Chinese Influence Activities in the United States, by the Hoover Institution at Stanford University and the Center on US-China Relations at the Asia Society in New York, 2019.

“We will keep connecting schools in the U.S. and China one at a time”. — USA-China Sister Schools Association.

China has used its sister cities to boost its “mask diplomacy”, in which it plays both the arsonist and the firefighter, and has written about this new initiative in state media with quotes from “grateful” US sister cities thanking China for sending them masks.

Local politicians and others, such as school principals, are simply easy targets for the sophisticated tactics of CCP officials, who prey on the goodwill and naiveté of unsuspecting Americans, although willful blindness doubtless plays a role. “Local politicians typically know little about China and have no responsibility for national security, and because their Chinese interlocutors present themselves as offering people-to-people exchanges and ‘opportunities for local business’, these politicians have a strong incentive to remain uninformed”. — Clive Hamilton and Mareike Ohlberg, Hidden Hand: Exposing How the Chinese Communist Party is Reshaping the World.

On November 17, four US Senators introduced legislation to investigate the “sister city” partnerships between communities in United States and China. According to Senator Marco Rubio:

“The Chinese government and Communist Party has a history of exploiting cultural and economic partnerships to conduct malign activities, and it’s clear that opaque, sister-city partnerships deserve increased scrutiny. We must do more to better understand, and then counter, Chinese influence operations at the state and local level, which are often conducted under the benign auspices of sister city relationships.”

In February, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo also warned:

“Chinese Communist Party officials… are cultivating relationships with county school board members and local politicians – often through what are known as sister cities programs… Last year, a high school – a high school, a high school in Chicago – disinvited a Taiwanese representative to serve on a climate panel after Chinese pressure.”

A Nobel Peace Prize for President Trump and His Majesty King Mohammed VI? by Mohammed Habib

https://www.gatestoneinstitute.org/16852/nobel-peace-prize-trump-king-mohammed

Salmi Gailani, who was born in 1991, the year of the ceasefire, “blames the U.N. for the fact that for 30 years, Western Sahara has been a frozen conflict…. ’30 years is long enough to place ballot boxes,’ he said.” — Euronews, November 17, 2020.

The international community has been trying to broker a peace for the Western Sahara for 30 years. Some observers, however, suggest that “if the Polisario Front were to have sovereignty over the Western Sahara, it would mean that Algeria was effectively surrounding Morocco.”

Along with last week’s the triumph for President Trump and King Mohammed VI, there have also been charges that Morocco could have joined the Abraham Accords without the US recognizing Morocco’s sovereignty over the Western Sahara. So far, however, no one has quite said how.

Last week, US President Donald J. Trump and His Majesty King Mohammed VI of Morocco, in a move that immediately prompted calls for a Nobel Peace Prize, agreed that Morocco would be the fourth Arab country — joining the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain and Sudan — in establishing a solid peace with Israel this year. A felicitous reciprocity is that Morocco was the first country to recognize the United States.

Since 1975, when Spain gave up its colony in the Western Sahara, the sovereignty of the territory has been under dispute. The area, about the size of Britain, wedged between Morocco and Mauritania, runs southward along the Atlantic Ocean. The territory and its waters are rich with phosphates, bauxite, fish, and possibly offshore oil reserves. Although Morocco has officially administered the area for the last 30 years, it has been claimed by the Polisario Front, (an abbreviation for “Popular Front for the Liberation of Saguia el-Hamra and Rio de Oro”), an Algerian-backed group composed of a nomadic people, the Sahrawis.

Tehran Should Ask ‘Then What?’ by Amir Taheri

https://www.gatestoneinstitute.org/16848/iran-ask-then-what

Reacting to the killing of Major-General Qassem Soleimani and Brigadier-General Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, regime “thinkers” promise “revenge” and suggest this could be done with a single deadly blow to the “enemy”…. Needless to say, when Khomeinists speak of “the enemy,” they mean the American “Great Satan” and its sidekick Israel.

Even Ghulam Esmaili, spokesman for Islamic Judiciary, has joined the armchair strategists by suggesting “the clearing out of America and Israel” with a “single blow.”

Launching the attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941, the Japanese high command also forgot to ask “what next?”.

[T]he Kayhan editorialist who urged the attack on Haifa… says because the Islamic Republic has “all US bases within range”, cowardly Americans won’t react to a destructive attack on Israel. And if they did, he says, Tehran could pour missiles against US bases in Iraq, the United Arab Emirates, the US 5th Fleet headquarters in Bahrain, the CENTCOM in Qatar, bases in Omani part of Musandam Peninsula. The editorialist believes the US would simply grin and bear each attack.

In the One Thousand and One Night tale of the princes of Serendip, all three have one desire: To achieve all their wishes with a single throw of the dice.

However, not confined to the world of oriental tales, that dream has dictated quite a few tragic, comical and tragi-comical events in history.

The latest appearance of the “one throw” theme could be witnessed in Tehran these days, where Islamic Republic leaders offer both tragic and comical versions of it.

Media’s pre-election burial of Hunter Biden story proves dereliction of duty By Joe Concha,

https://thehill.com/opinion/white-house/529736-medias-pre-election-burial-of-hunter-biden-story-proves-dereliction-of

There are two kinds of bias in the media. First there is the kind we regularly see from many – not all – outlets in broad daylight, which includes openly rooting for one political party while echoing rapid-response opposition research against another. And then there is the more invisible, insidious variety — the bias of omission.

If teaching a class in the latter, as it pertains to the bombshell admission that President-elect Joe Biden’s son, Hunter Biden, has been under grand jury investigation for “tax affairs” by the U.S. attorney’s office in Delaware, then the bias of omission absolutely has been applied in the most blatant manner.

To be clear, omission-bias is when an outlet or publication purposely suppresses or outright ignores a newsworthy story that is carried by others. In this case, the “others” initially was an exclusive in the New York Post, which was dismissed immediately by other media outlets and by Democrats as Russian disinformation or a smear campaign by the Trump administration.

And not just dismissed, either. The story was outright banned from public discourse by social media giant Twitter, which limited its members from sharing a New York Post report on Hunter Biden’s business dealings in Ukraine and China. This New York Post report wasn’t just the usual “he-said, she-said” hearsay that we once saw on a daily basis as it pertained to alleged Russian collusion and the Trump campaign. It contained actual emails from Hunter Biden’s own laptop.

Irregularities, Fraud Caused Trump to Lose Wisconsin: Election Commissioner Zachary Stieber

https://www.theepochtimes.com/irregularities-fraud-caused-trump-to-lose-wisconsi

A member of the Wisconsin election board said Friday that irregularities, fraud, and “Democrat tricks” caused President Donald Trump to lose the state after narrowly winning it four years ago.

Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden beat Trump in this year’s election by approximately 20,000 votes.

Bob Spindell, a Republican commissioner on the Wisconsin Elections Commission, said the vote difference stemmed from allegedly outdated voter rolls. Plaintiffs in an ongoing court case say about 130,000 voters should be removed from the rolls, asserting the commission ignored state law by adopting policies that allow voters who have moved to maintain active voter registrations at old addresses beyond 30 days.

A circuit court judge ruled for the plaintiffs early this year but the commission ignored the ruling, and the Wisconsin Supreme Court eventually overrode the lower court.

“These 130,000 were kept on the rolls for the November election, presumably sent absentee ballot applications by outside groups,” Spindell told state lawmakers during a hearing in Madison. “Hopefully it will be determined by the parties how many of these people actually voted by mail or otherwise.”

Of the 2.7 million absentee ballot applications sent out by the state, Spindell, added, tens of thousands were returned, marked saying they were sent to invalid addresses.
