Selective Justice at The Hague by Srdja Trifkovic

Srdja Trifkovic discusses on Radio Sputnik International the sentencing of Dr. Radovan Karadzic at the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia.
Trifkovic: The verdict had been written well in advance of Karadzic’s arrest in 2008. All key points in the verdict had been prepared well in advance based on a previous sentence, against General [Radislav] Krstic, when the “Srebrenica genocide” was quasi-legally verified. This is the logical outcome of a politicized tribunal with politicized proceedings…

Sputnik: What are we going to see now, when it comes to the future of the Republika Srpska?

Trifkovic: We are going to see the use of this verdict as another building bloc in the political case for the dismantling of the Dayton Agreement, signed in the fall of 1995, which recognized the Republika Srpska as a semi-autonomous entity within Bosnia-Herzegovina. This will be used, together with some previous verdicts, as justification for a sustained attempt to delegitimize its existence and to claim that—having verified the guilt of Karadzic—it is now time to look for another arrangement for the future of Bosnia-Herzegovina as a more or less unitarized state—in which, by virtue of their members, the Muslims will have predominance.

Sputnik: Many people will probably think “well, this is the end of an era, the end of the story,” but it’s not going to be like that in your opinion?

Trifkovic: Not at all. The whole show at The Hague Tribunal has the task of providing legal justification for the decisions made by the Western powers in the 1990’s. Nobody at The Hague is looking at the circumstances that led to the civil war in Bosnia, the way in which the illegal referendum on February 29-March 1, 1992 resulted in the war; or at the role of the American Ambassador in Belgrade at that time, Warren Zimmermann, who flew to Sarajevo in March 1992 to dissuade Alija Izetbegovic, the Muslim leader, from accepting the plan put together by the European Union under Portugals’ presidency, the plan which could have prevented the war even before the first shot was fired. This is selective justice by a tribunal with a clear brief to prove Serbian guilt as retroactive justification for political decisions made at the time.

Indonesia Says 10 Nationals Held Hostage After Ship Hijacked Philippine militant group Abu Sayyaf suspected in ransom demand

JAKARTA, Indonesia—Indonesia’s foreign ministry said Tuesday that 10 Indonesian nationals are being held hostage after their ship was hijacked in Philippine waters.

The ministry said in a statement that the owner of the hijacked tug boat and coal barge has received two telephone calls purportedly from militant group Abu Sayyaf, which is demanding a ransom.

It doesn’t know exactly when the incident occurred but said the shipowner was first contacted on Saturday. The ministry’s statement referred to the hostage takers as pirates.

Abu Sayyaf, which is on U.S. and Philippine lists of terrorist organizations, is notorious for bombings, extortions and kidnappings for ransom in the volatile south of the Philippines. It has been weakened by years of U.S.-backed Philippine military offensives but remains a security threat.

FIDEL CASTRO TO BARACK : ” WE DON’T NEED THE EMPIRE TO GIVE US ANYTHING”

Retired leader Fidel Castro accused U.S. President Barack Obama of sweet-talking the Cuban people during his visit to the island last week and ignoring the accomplishments of Communist rule, in an opinion piece carried by all state-run media on Monday.

Obama’s visit was aimed at consolidating a detente between the once intractable Cold War enemies and the U.S. president said in a speech to the Cuban people that it was time for both nations to put the past behind them and face the future “as friends and as neighbors and as family, together.”

“One assumes that every one of us ran the risk of a heart attack listening to these words,” Castro said in his column, dismissing Obama’s comments as “honey-coated” and reminding Cubans of the many U.S. efforts to overthrow and weaken the Communist government.

Castro, 89, laced his opinion piece with nationalist sentiment and, bristling at Obama’s offer to help Cuba, said the country was able to produce the food and material riches it needs with the efforts of its people.

U.S. at Easter: When Christians Are Slaughtered, Look the Other Way Muslims Slaughter Over 10,000 Christians and Destroy 13,000 Churches in Nigeria by Raymond Ibrahim

“Over 500 Christian villagers were slain in one night.” — Emmanuel Ogebe, Nigerian human rights lawyer, March 2, 2016.

What Christians in Nigeria are experiencing is a live snapshot of what millions of Christians and other non-Muslims have experienced since the seventh century, when Islam “migrated” to their borders: violence, persecution, enslavement, and the destruction of churches.

The Obama Administration refuses to associate Boko Haram — an organization that defines itself in purely Islamic terms — with Islam, just as it refuses to associate the ISIS with Islam.

In all cases, the Obama Administration looks the other way, while insisting that the jihad is a product of “inequality,” “poverty” and “a lack of opportunity for jobs” — never of Islamic teaching.

Boko Haram, the Nigerian Islamic extremist group, has killed more people in the name of jihad than the Islamic State (ISIS), according to the findings of a new report. Since 2000, when twelve Northern Nigerian states began implementing or more fully enforcing Islamic sharia law, “between 9,000 to 11,500 Christians” have been killed. This is “a conservative estimate.”

In addition, “1.3 million Christians have become internally displaced or forced to relocate elsewhere,” and “13,000 churches have been closed or destroyed altogether.” Countless “thousands of Christian businesses, houses and other property have been destroyed.”

“These People, They Are Nothing More Than Kufar” & Other Scenes From Eurabia

In the Australian Murdoch-owned newspaper the Herald-Sun on Sunday, a good article by conservative columnist Miranda Devine, who absolutely nailed it when she wrote that the agenda of the ABC (the BBC’s counterpart Down Under)

“is to deny the threat of Islamist terrorism, to engender complacency, and avoid confronting the fact that Islamists are bringing their war to the West.

It is cultural relativists telling us we have no right to feel aggrieved by the attacks on Brussels or Paris or Sydney or Melbourne, because there are more terrorist atrocities in the Middle East and Africa.”

With those familiar mendacious maps

As she so rightly says,

“there’s a reason our civilised Judaeo-Christian societies are peaceful, compared with broken Islamic states that are spawning a murderous ideology that threatens the world. Our culture is superior and we want to keep it that way.

But the Left are still clutching at straws to deny the undeniable. As the blood of innocents fills the streets of Europe … the very people who weakened our defences are now pretending there isn’t a problem.”

Ms Devine quotes from Belgian Senator Alain Destexhe’s “chilling article” in La Libre Belgique last week, in which he describes how the long-serving former Mayor of Molenbeek, Philippe Moureaux,

“ushered in a generation of Muslim radicals, mainly from Morocco or Turkey, who kept him in power and who silenced critics by calling them Islamophobic….

Fundamentalist Salafist imams and teachers funded by Saudi Arabia were imported to spread ideological poison. Molenbeek, now more than 40 per cent Muslim, became Belgium’s fastest growing place….Molenbeek gradually became an area of lawlessness, where agents of the water or electricity services must be accompanied by police, where almost all restaurants are closed during Ramadan, when ‘dirty Jew’ has become a common insult… and where blondes and those who wear short skirts are treated as whores or sluts.”

No-go areas. Islamic antisemitism. Contempt for and attacks on women. That has a familiar ring, of course.

Brussels, Molenbeek, and the Way Out for Europe By Alex Alexiev

The terrorist mayhem in Brussels has again produced the predictable hand-wringing about its causes. And again, as in France after last November’s attacks, the focus has been largely misplaced. Most of the attention has been directed to the role played by ISIS in organizing and carrying out the attacks. In doing that, pundits and officials alike have, willingly or not, diverted attention from the single most important fact in this matter — the presence of a huge and rapidly growing radical Islamic community in the middle of Europe. It is this community motivated by a hateful Islamo-fascist ideology that has become the main supplier of radical jihadists to the terrorists in the Middle East and not vice versa. And it is this ideology that not only rejects the basic norms of Western civilization and democracy, but is openly bent on destroying them. And contrary to the facile nonsense that radical Islam does not exist emanating from assorted politically-correct eminencies in Washington and European capitals, this murderous belief system has become the dominant idiom in the Muslim establishment in the West and represents a clear and present danger to our most cherished values. Time is not on our side. At present, Muslims make up 26% of Brussels’ population. With an average age of 32 versus 42 for Belgian Christians, the cohort under 18 years of age would be majority Muslim in less than ten years. If they continue to be as radical as they are today, it is difficult to see how Belgian or European democracy could survive.

Terror Network’s Web Sprawls Beyond Brussels and Paris Multiple recent arrests suggest a wider Islamic State presence in Europe than previously thought By David Gauthier-Villars and Valentina Pop andGiovanni Legorano

A pan-European effort to crack the Islamic State network behind the Paris and Brussels attacks is yielding an unsettling discovery—a web of interlocking terror cells whose dimensions authorities say they are still trying to grasp.

European authorities said they suspect that several men detained in a number of countries over the Easter weekend all had connections to perpetrators of the deadly attacks. This has prompted French and Belgian prosecutors to seek closer U.S. assistance, according to Western officials, as they try to map the extent of the network responsible for killing 130 people in Paris in November and at least 31 in Brussels on Tuesday.

The immediate effort is centering on Fayçal Cheffou, a Brussels resident of Moroccan origin who was detained in front of the office of Belgium’s federal prosecutor Thursday as police were trailing him by car. Belgian authorities say they suspect Mr. Cheffou, who has been charged and is in custody, is the man seen pushing a cart on security footage captured at Brussels Airport minutes before two suicide bombers detonated their explosives.

Recent police raids have turned up more men allegedly linked to the Paris and Brussels attackers, which in turn have led authorities to other suspects. One man apprehended in Italy on Sunday is suspected of having supplied several suspected attackers with fake documents. Three other men detained last week, one near Paris and two in Brussels, also had links to the attackers, and were allegedly plotting a terror act in France.

That led Sunday to the detention of a 32-year-old Frenchman in Rotterdam, who also is suspected of being involved in the foiled French plot, according to French and Dutch officials.

A Taliban Easter The casualties will be worse when jihadists acquire WMD.

There aren’t many Christians left in Pakistan, but that’s still too many for the Taliban. A splinter group of the Pakistani faction of the Islamist terror group claimed responsibility for a suicide bomb attack on Christians celebrating in a park in Lahore on Easter Sunday.

At least 65 people, mostly women and children, were killed and more than 300 others were injured as the terrorists targeted a children’s park in Pakistan’s most cosmopolitan city. “Members of the Christian community who were celebrating Easter today were our prime target,” said a Taliban spokesman who called NBC News from the safety of an undisclosed location.

Sweden? Negative Image? What Could You Be Thinking? One Month of Islam and Multiculturalism in Sweden: February 2016 by Ingrid Carlqvist

Two “unaccompanied refugee children,” remanded in January on suspicion of the aggravated rape of a younger boy at an asylum house in Alvesta, were revealed to be much older than 15 years old — the age they claimed to be. One of them, an Afghan man, wrote on Facebook that he was 44.
On Sweden’s most popular TV show, host Gina Dirawi and a children’s choir rewrote Sweden’s national anthem — instead of “I want to live, I want to die in the North”, they sang, “I want to live, I want to die on Earth.” The producer stated that the show “is not for those who get upset if the national anthem is changed. The focus should be on the people of this country who have ‘different roots.'”
Adult migrants with residence permits now have a right to bypass Swedes in waiting lists for housing. There is a massive shortage of housing, which has led to young Swedes, well into their 30s, being forced to live with their parents.

No one seems to have given any thought as to where all the people who are granted asylum in Sweden are supposed to live. There is a massive shortage of housing, which has led to young Swedes, well into their 30s, being forced to live with their parents. In 2014, a report from the Swedish Union of Tenants (Hyresgästföreningen) disclosed that close to 300,000 young people between the ages of 20-27 do not have their own place to live. The Immigration Service has the right to send “unaccompanied refugee children,” who are often, in fact, undocumented adults, to the local municipalities — and then it is their problem to procure accommodation. It was also recently reported that adult migrants with residence permits have a right to bypass Swedes in waiting lists for housing. The municipality of Skellefteå now plans to inventory all the empty houses in the countryside, looking for possible alternatives for migrants.

February 3: Teenage girls attending the Vårboskolan high school in the Malmö suburb of Arlöv were sexually assaulted and stalked by young migrants in their 20s who take Swedish language classes at the school, according to the local daily newspaper, Sydsvenskan. As most of the migrants are male, the gender balance at the school has been severely skewed. 14-year-old Emilia and Nora told Sydsvenskan:

“The guys stared at us and made kissing noises. They said things we did not quite understand, told us we were sexy and good looking and stuff like that. And they took pictures of us and other girls with their phones. During recess, they stand outside waiting for us and then they follow us. Sometimes guys have groped us in the lunch line.”

Sweden’s Palestinian Lobbyists by Nima Gholam Ali Pour

The Swedish municipality of Malmö, with only 318,000 inhabitants, is providing tens of thousands of dollars in tax revenues each year to organizations that spread extreme anti-Israeli messages.

Apelgårdsskolan elementary school in Malmö lends its premises on Sundays to an association called Framtidsföreningen [“The Future Society”]. The organization holds a Sunday school, where, among other things, maps are handed out to children where Israel has been removed, and schoolbooks are distributed in which “resistance” against Israel is celebrated. Framtidsföreningen has also received $4500 from Malmö’s recreational board since 2014.

That pro-Palestinian organizations will use tax-funded operations as a tool to spread hatred against Israel is a given. This means that organizations that spread hatred against Israel in Sweden in many cases have tax revenues at their disposal at several levels.

There are no effective lobbying organizations in Sweden that fight for the cause of Israel.

In recent years, aid that finances hatred against Israel has received much attention. Organizations such as NGO Monitor have shown time and again how European countries and international organizations provide financial support to projects in which the sole purpose is to spread lies about Israel and erode its legitimacy as a nation.
