Legacy Media Fall Silent On Bombshell Report Showing Joe Biden Lied About Knowledge Of Son’s Foreign Business By Tristan Justice

http://Legacy Media Fall Silent On Bombshell Report Showing Joe Biden Lied About Knowledge Of Son’s Foreign Business By Tristan Justice

Any time a legacy paper drops what they call a “bombshell” report on President Donald Trump, one can safely bet it will end up on the front page of every outlet immediately upon publication.

It happened with the Woodward tapes, where the Watergate journalist uncovered comments the president had been making for months. It happened with a report in the Atlantic, where the magazine published a hit piece based solely on anonymous sources making claims only to be contradicted by more than a dozen current and former White House staff, including fired National Security Advisor John Bolton. And it happened with every minor new detail to emerge in the mainstream media’s Russiagate narrative seeking to indict the president as a Russian agent.

When the New York Post dropped an actual bombshell report on Wednesday morning however, exposing that 2020 Democratic presidential nominee repeatedly lied about what he knew of his son’s potentially criminal overseas business activity, legacy outlets so eager to publish incriminating content on the Trump White House have gone silent.

Emails obtained by the Post show correspondence between Hunter Biden and Vadym Pozharskyi, a Ukrainian advisor to Biden’s energy firm Burisma show that contrary to Joe Biden’s claims that he never talked business with his son “or with anyone else,” the vice president at the time was indeed introduced to Pozharskyi by Hunter. Hunter Biden was raking in upwards of $50,000 a month in excess compensation for serving on the board of Burisma while his father served as the “public face” of White House policy towards Ukraine.

A tearful lesson of 2016: Polls don’t matter if people don’t vote By Steve Israel

https://thehill.com/opinion/campaign/520792-a-tearful-lesson-of-2016-polls-dont-matter-if-people-dont-vote

Steve Israel represented New York in the U.S. House of Representatives over eight terms and was chairman of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee from 2011 to 2015. He is now the director of the Institute of Politics and Global Affairs at Cornell University.

Ask a well-placed Democrat about Joe Biden’s likelihood of victory in 19 days and you will notice a glimmer of hope tempered by a post-traumatic wince from 2016. Here is my story:

That election night, at about 7 p.m., I strode onstage for a speech at the New York Times, and committed one of the worst punditry blunders of my career. With absolute certitude and no room for error, I proclaimed to an audience of several hundred that Hilary Clinton would be elected president within hours. My co-panelist, Rep. Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.), agreed but, as I recall, smartly qualified his forecast with the added words, “I believe.”

Me? I didn’t simply believe, I knew. I mean, didn’t everybody? Didn’t you? The election was over. Done. In the bag. It had been drilled into us in the newspapers, on television, in most national polling and in those glittering fundraising bubbles on the Upper West Side and Beverly Hills.

An hour later I arrived at the Javits Center in Manhattan to celebrate with the soon-to-be-Madam-President-elect. I had flashy VIP credentials around my neck and a mini-entourage in tow. We descended a long escalator to the press center, where a multitude of reporters were already polishing their “Clinton Wins” stories. Just as I stepped off the escalator, a friend from a national newspaper approached and asked, “What’s going wrong in southern Florida?”

I had just campaigned for Clinton in southern Florida, so I thought I had a certain expertise about its voting trends. So important was my surrogacy that I was assigned to whip up mostly Jewish retirees in sprawling condo developments with none other than “Bowzer” from the doo-wop group Sha Na Na. (Sha Na Na, by the way, was big in the ’70s — and we were assigned to get-out-the-vote for people in their 80s.) Still, we were well-received and Clinton’s message resonated. (Well, maybe Bowser’s reprise of “Get a Job” resonated more, but there was no reason to doubt a crushing Clinton victory.)

How do you tell 56% of Americans not to vote for you — and that they’re fools to boot — and expect to win? Donald Trump got credited with playing eight-dimensional chess more than a few times in 2016 and afterward. Maybe this is sixteen-level Parcheesi. While in Cincinnati, Biden offered this bon mot to the majority in the latest Gallup poll about the famous Ronald Reagan re-elect question:

WKRC: Gallup reported last week 56% of Americans said they were better off today than they were four years ago—would’ve been under the Obama-Biden administration. So why should people who feel they are better off today, under the Trump administration, vote for you?

BIDEN: Well, if they think that, they probably shouldn’t. They think 54% [sic] percent of the American are better off economically today than they were under our administration? Well, their memory is not very good, quite frankly.

U.S. Doesn’t Need A President Who Hides His Agenda From Voters

https://issuesinsights.com/2020/10/14/u-s-doesnt-need-a-president-who-hides-his-agenda-from-voters/

Last Thursday, Joe Biden told voters “you’ll know my position on court-packing the day after the election,” which could not be a more clear statement that the Democratic presidential candidate is concealing an important point because he knows it will hurt him politically. What else is he hiding from voters?

Not only has Biden refused to say if he will or won’t crowd the Supreme Court with left-wing jurists, he’s condescendingly said voters have no right to know what his plans are.

“Well sir, don’t the voters deserve to know” if he will pack the court, “the no. 1 thing I’ve been asked about from viewers in the past couple of days,” a Las Vegas reporter asked him last week.

“No, they don’t,” responded Biden.

Packing the court doesn’t sit well with voters. They’re smart enough to know it would result in an arms race with both parties adding seats to the court each time they gained control of the White House and held majorities in both congressional chambers, and that a bloated, see-sawing Supreme Court would lose legitimacy and “thus unable to check the power of the other branches.”

Even through their rage, Democrats recognize voters’ concerns. So it’s no surprise Biden tried to diffuse the issue on Monday. At an Ohio campaign stop, he said “I’m not a fan of court packing.” It was an empty gesture, however, because he immediately added “I don’t want to get off on that whole issue,” meaning that he’s still hiding his plans.

Ten Lessons from a Tumultuous 2020 By Steve McCann

https://www.americanthinker.com/articles/2020/10/ten_lessons_from_a_tumultuous_2020.html

“The Democrat party is now the fully owned subsidiary of the Marxist/socialist American left.  While the party hierarchy clings to the façade of moderation by trotting out the old faces from a bygone era, such as Joe Biden and Hillary Clinton, the party is now the vehicle to radically transform the nation into a hybrid Marxist/socialist state by any means either illegal or unethical.  It is also an entity that does not care about the poor, working class, or marginalized groups enough to place their interests above a political agenda.”

This year has been not only stunning but eye-opening.  The list of what we as a nation have learned about ourselves is not limited to the political arena but includes the scientific and medical communities as well as modern-day American society.  Among the most notable lessons are the following.

The Chinese Coronavirus pandemic has revealed that virtually all Democrat elected state and local government officials are fully capable of doing the unthinkable: creating a de facto police state.  They have issued orders and edicts or convey preferences with no legal authority and with little consideration of the human cost while callously disregarding individual rights.  Further, they have relentlessly fostered unfounded fear among their citizens as well as deliberately prolonged their economic hardships by enforcing lockdowns for no sound medical purpose, solely to defeat Donald Trump in November.

What is at stake in this election? Freedom, liberty, justice, law and order By Patricia McCarthy

https://www.americanthinker.com/blog/2020/10/_what_is_at_stake_in_this_election_freedom_liberty_justice_law_and_order.html

Despite their obvious contempt for the restrictions the Constitution places on government, the Democrats are not above citing it constantly as if it means something to them, as they are during the Barrett hearings.  Their sad candidate for the presidency, Joe Biden and his running mate Kamala Harris, pretend to revere it but if they win, they will set about undermining it, as Barack Obama certainly did, to the point of tearing it to shreds.

The genius of the Constitution is, first and foremost, its reverence for individual freedom, liberty and justice for all and, the basis of any civil society, law and order.  In the presidential debate with President Trump, Biden refused to utter the words “law and order.”  Throughout the summer months that saw numerous cities destroyed by rioting, looting, and arson, neither he nor Harris condemned the destructive violence.  It will take years and years and billions of dollars for Minneapolis, Seattle, Portland, and other cities to recover — if that is even possible.

Harris not only approved of these “peaceful protests,” she encouraged them by vowing they would not end before nor after the election.  She raises money to bail out the violent thugs who perpetrated the barbarity.  Once free, some of them have gone on to commit further crimes, even murder in a couple of cases.  As everyone knows, most of the rioting has been committed by Antifa and Black Lives Matter, both groups financed by a variety of shadowy groups that embrace Marxism/communism.  Members of these two groups are recruited, trained, supplied with the necessary gear for rioting and transported to every flashpoint on a moment’s notice, put up in nice hotels and sent out to do as much damage as possible.  They mean to destroy America as founded.

RICH BAEHR ON SENATE RACES

Republicans running for Senate are  in competitive races. Though almost  all of the competitive races are Republicans representing Republican held seats, Democrats have raised far  more money than the Republicans  in virtually every one of these races. In some races , local media advertising is less expensive, so your dollars could go further- Iowa, Montana, Kansas, Alaska, Maine. The closest races are Iowa, Maine, Montana, South Carolina, Georgia (Perdue seat) , and Michigan. Kansas and Alaska are tougher to judge state of the race since there is infrequent polling. North Carolina seems to be tightening due to the Democratic candidate’s extra curricular activities.

So here are the links, and a brief state of the race for each:
Pickup chances:

Alabama: Tommy Tuberville holds a lead of just over 5 points versus Democratic Senator  Doug Jones. This is one of two races where Republicans could pick up a seat.

https://tommyforsenate.com/home/

Michigan: John James, an African American war veteran,  has pulled into a near tie with Democratic Senator Ralph Peters. This is one of the few recent bright spots in GOP polling. This is one of two races where Republicans could pick up a seat.https://johnjamesforsenate.com

Republicans defending seats:

Texas: Senior John Cornyn is ahead in  polls, by a bit more than 5%.

https://www.johncornyn.com/

Arizona: Senator Martha McSally is trailing in polls by a bit over 5%:

https://www.mcsallyforsenate.com/

Georgia: Senator David Perdue has a small lead in polls- 2-3 point against Jon Ossoff:

https://perduesenate.com

Georgia has a second Senate race this year to complete the term of Johnny Isaacson. Appointed Senator Kelly Loeffler and Congressman Doug Collins are in the jungle primary on election day against several Democrats, with one of them,  Raphael Warnock, the principal competition. If no-one gets 50% on November 3 (likely), then the top two will have a runoff in January, with one of the two Republicans against Warnock. Generally, Republicans do well in special elections in the state, but if control of the Senate were at stake, turnout could be higher than usual, and result is uncertain.

Montana:  Senator Steve Daines is in a very close race with Governor Steve Bullock, maybe a 1-2 point lead.

Maine: Senator Suan Collins is slightly behind (2-3 points) versus Sara Gideon

North Carolina: Senator Tom Tillis is a few points behind  Cal Cunningham, who seems to be an active serial philanderer.

Kansas: Roger Marshall is the Republican coveting in an open seat race for a currently GOP held seat (Pat Roberts).  He has a small lead (less than 5 points) over Democrat Barbara Bollier in this infrequently polled race.

Alaska: Senator Dan Sullivan, has a small lead of 5 points or less over Democrat/Independent Al Gross  in this infrequently polled state. Democrats have started spending heavily this race, suggesting they chink seat can be flipped.. https://secure.winred.com/alaskans-for-dan-sullivan/ad?utm_source=AD&utm_medium=

Ignore the Polls! They’re dated relics that no longer reflect the reality of the electorate. By Auguste Meyrat

https://amgreatness.com/2020/10/12/ignore-the-polls/

According to most election polls over the past few weeks, Joe Biden is leading Donald Trump in most states, often by double-digits. On leadership ability, most responders to these polls also favor Biden over Trump. Because of this, most election experts and their models predict a massive blue wave that will bring Biden and the other Democrats into office.

Another poll, however, seems to run against this idea: a plurality of Americans (roughly 39 percent) think their neighbors will vote for Trump. Not only does this cast doubt on other polls showing Biden in the lead, it also casts doubt on the very idea of polling itself. If the phenomenon of the “shy Trump voter” is real and the polls seem incapable of accounting for this, then the polls are never going to be accurate.

Perhaps it’s time to consider the possibility that election polls and the models based on them are passé. They are the obsolete remnant of the 20th century that believed in reducing everything to scientific, quantifiable data. To work, they rely on a tolerant political climate, cooperative participants, and objective data compilers and analysts. In each of these regards, none of these factors exist today, and Democrats have only themselves to blame for it since they have subordinated everything to their political agenda.

This can be seen most easily with the first factor: tolerance. In their more liberal days, Democrats used to preach tolerance, but as a more activist, socialist Left has taken over the party, tolerance has now morphed into enthusiastic validation. While tolerance can allow for disagreement, the command to celebrate minority populations, habits, and opinions equates disagreement with rank bigotry.

Gaffe-O-Matic: In One Day, Joe Biden Rolls Out Three Laughable Blunders By Matt Margolis

https://pjmedia.com/election/matt-margolis/2020/10/12/gaffe-o-matic-in-one-day-joe-biden-rolls-out-three-laughable-blunders-n1041238

Former Vice President Joe Biden is running for the most powerful office on earth. Biden had a very bad day on Monday, making a series of gaffes that once again destroy confidence in his ability to be president.

First, Biden forgot Mitt Romney’s name while attempting to explain why he opposes Senate Democrats targeting Judge Amy Coney Barrett’s Catholic faith.

“You may remember, I got in trouble when we were running against that senator who was a Mormon, the governor,” Biden said. Is Mitt Romney that forgettable?

Later, in Toledo, Ohio, Biden forgot which office he is actually running for. Which seems like a big problem considering he’s been running for president for over a year.

Joe Biden: “I’m running as a proud Democrat for the Senate”

Biden also got the website wrong when telling voters in Ohio where to go online to get voting information.

After saying he’s running for Senate, a confused Joe Biden tells voters to go to http://IWill.com/Ohio, which is not a real website. And we’re supposed to believe Biden is fit for office?
