DAVID “SPENGLER’ GOLDMAN: JAPAN’S LOST LIBIDO AND AMERICA’S ASEXUAL FUTURE?

http://www.atimes.com/atimes/Japan/NC13Dh01.html

A Japanese government study that should have shaken the psychology profession to its shoelaces went through the news media with a mild degree of titillation last month. Almost a third of Japanese boys aged 16-10 and three-fifths of girls say that they have no interest in sex. That is daunting, for all the world’s cultures have believed that women enjoy sex more than men, as the Greek seer Tiresias told the gods according to Ovid.

The hormones of late adolescence evidently rage in vain against some cultural barrier that makes young Japanese “despise” sexual relations, according to the Japan Family Planning Association’s report [1]. The whole edifice of liberal social policy should have tumbled upon the news, which refutes Freud’s premise that libido is the driving force in human character. For 60 years, the sexual revolution insisted that repressed desire is the root of all evil. It turns out that the ultimate victim of sexual revolution is sex itself.

What makes the Japanese hate sex? The same things that make a growing proportion of Americans hate sex. Joan Sewell’s 2007 book I’d Rather Eat Chocolate became the manifesto of American women who don’t like sex, hailed at the as “the next wild turn in the female sexual revolution” by Sandra Tsing Loh in The Atlantic Monthly [2].

OVER THE TOP! ANTI ISRAEL NGO EXPLOITS RAPE TO BASH ISRAEL

http://campaign.r20.constantcontact.com/render?llr=rfhybieab&v=001tP2d4sszXqowzl3udPzoQc3DiqyisgaXrgqqXAfHjceHbsXY-JSigPi_4OF3JWqo7Zv5g08PldV-sJl8Fk2oi0ykLneLYdkDSutvB7n8n-Q%3D
A poster published on the official Facebook page of the political advocacy NGO known as the “Solidarity Movement” depicts a woman being raped, as a metaphor for Israel allegedly being “raped” by “settlers.” The poster shows a woman forcefully pinned down with her mouth held open, with the poster title a takeoff of the film “Deep Throat.” The text, referring to the controversy over the Migron settlement, proclaims: “If they were residents of Haifa, Beer Sheva or Ashdod they would be in jail. But they are settlers. So shut up, bend down, swallow, you probably know that you want it!!!”
After criticism by some of the group’s members, the image on the rape poster was changed (though the language remained the same). The original and new version can be viewed here and below.
Commenting on this highly offensive image, which represents the antithesis of tolerance, dialogue and human rights, NGO Monitor released the following statement:
“The poster is a vitriolic, offensive, and highly distorted depiction of Israeli society and the legal process,” says Prof. Gerald Steinberg, president of NGO Monitor. “By publishing this, the Solidarity Movement has completely dropped the pretense of promoting human rights and tolerance. This is not the first time that an NGO claiming a human rights agenda has exploited the very serious accusation of rape as part of the wider political assault against Israel.”

NOTICE FROM HELEN FREEDMAN FOR AMERICANS FOR A SAFE ISRAEL…

Battling pro-Jihadists & Sharia Law

WEDNESDAY, MARCH 14, 6:30-8 P.M., people of conscience are asked to gather at the JCC in Manhattan. 334 Amsterdam Avenue at 76th Street, to protest the anti-American program: Combating Islamophobia: an evening with Rabbi Marc Schneier and Russel Simmons, moderated by Chelsea Clinton. Rabbi Schneier, famous for his ill conceived Foundation for Ethnic Understanding, which supports twinning between synagogues and mosques, may truly believe that peace is possible with those sworn to our destruction. We don’t believe it, and we do believe that there is good reason to fear Islam, based on the threats and oft-repeated goals of Islamism. Quoting Dr.Qanta Ahmed, “Political Islamism – variously called radical Islam, jihadism or Islamic fundamentalism…is a modern political project that seeks to return any society to a supposed “scriptural foundation” of the Muslim community, removing existing forms of government and laws.”

Please join with AFSI, HRCARI, NCJA and other grass roots organizations to participate in this critically important event. Call 212-828-2424 with questions.

THE CLERICS…IN THEIR OWN WORDS….FROM MEMRI….

Egyptian Clerics Repeat Franklin Prophecy Myth, Call the Jews “Donkeys” and “Apes and Pigs,” and Say: Making Our Children Loathe the Jews Is a Form of Worship of AllahFollowing are excerpts from Al-Rahma TV featuring Egyptian clerics discussing the Jews, which aired on March 6, 2012:

Egyptian cleric Gharib Ramadhan: There are very many traits that characterize the Jews, and the Koran focused on a few of them, such as the violation of commitments, from which we suffer to this day. Not just us in Egypt – the entire world suffers from this.Another trait is their hard-heartedness, God forbid. If you want to know what true hard-heartedness means, go to the Jews. You will find a lot of it there.

They were deported from England by King Edward, and from France by King Philip. They were deported from Hungary, from Belgium, from Czechoslovakia, from Austria – I won’t start with the dates – from Holland, from the Kingdom of Naples, from Russia… Wherever they go they get deported and then they return. For example, they went back to France and to Hungary, and were deported again. If they are good people, how come people get rid of them?Allah punished them by transforming them into apes and pigs, and by prohibiting them from eating several edible things. He forbade them to eat anything with claws – animals and birds that do not have cloven hooves, like camels, geese, ducks… They are prohibited from eating ducks. If Sheik Amin were here, he could have told us how greatly they were punished.Moderator: May Allah reward you, Dr. Gharib.

ELECTIONS ARE COMING: JOE “THE PLUMBER” WURZELBACHER FOR CONGRESS OHIO DISTRICT 9

Dear Fellow American, Remember how the leftwing media crucified Sarah Palin in the 2008 election? Well, now they’ve made “Joe the Plumber” their new target. JED BABBIN: IS PANETTA CLUELESS OR BRAZEN? AND WHERE IS THE OUTRAGE?

http://spectator.org/archives/2012/03/12/leon-panetta-clueless-or-braze

If not for Sen. Jeff Sessions, who would protect our Constitution from assault by Obama, Panetta & Co.?

President Obama and his congressional cohorts have never paid much attention to our Constitution. Nancy Pelosi laughed off the idea of considering it when Obamacare was debated.

Much the same is true whether Obama is implementing Obamacare or brushing aside other constitutional limits on his powers. Remember the “concession” he made on requiring religious institutions to pay for contraception? He just amended the regulations to require the insurance companies to pay for it, without anyone paying them back. That, my friends, is what we call a “Fifth Amendment taking” for which the government — by seizing something belonging to a private citizen — is responsible to pay the damaged party, even if it is an insurance company.

Such constitutional abuses are commonplace these days, but last Thursday the Obama regime took a far more sweeping and dark turn in a Senate Armed Services Committee hearing. Defense Secretary Leon Panetta was testifying on possible military action against Syria. Under questioning by Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-Ala), Panetta said some things that need to be set out clearly before I analyze or characterize them.

The issue is Congress’s power to declare war. Under our Constitution, only Congress has the power to declare war (Article 1, Section 8, Clause 11) and this power is co-extensive with the power of the president as commander in chief. They — Congress and the president — are the only authorities named directly or indirectly as having a constitutional role in that decision.

DR. MARTIN SHERMAN- BARACK, BIBI AND THE BOMB

http://www.jpost.com/Opinion/Columnists/Article.aspx?id=261077 Is a mushroom cloud over Tel Aviv the only evidence that the Obama administration will accept as proof of Iranian intentions?
