ISLAMIC THINKERS SOCIETY (ITS)
* Embraces the ideological tenets of the Muslim Brotherhood
* Offshoot of the now-defunct Al-Muhajiroun
* Seeks to restore the Islamic caliphate
* Calls for the enactment of Sharia law in every society on earth
Based in Jackson Heights, New York, the Islamic Thinkers Society (ITS) – sometimes known as the Intellectual Thinkers Society – describes itself as a group of “like-minded Muslims” who “give public da’wah [proselytization] to society, where we invite the society to [convert to] Islam.” Emphasizing that this “struggle” is pursued exclusively by “non-violent” means, ITS carries out its da’wah activities mainly in the streets of Jackson Heights and in Manhattan’s Times Square area. There, ITS members – who are mostly young, second-generation Muslim immigrants of Arab, Indian, Bangladeshi and Pakistani descent – distribute leaflets and hold banners conveying their group’s religious message. “This methodology,” saysITS, “was adopted from the [life] of the prophet Muhammad [and his companions who] would constantly … exhaust all their efforts to give da’wah to the Makkan [Meccan] society to invite them to the [reverence] of Allah.”
Embracing the ideological tenets of the Muslim Brotherhood, ITS is an offshoot of the now-defunct Al-Muhajiroun. ITS also has ties to the Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA), and it openly supports the agendas of al Qaeda.
Hollywood: The Democrats’ Secret Weapon Posted By Ben Shapiro URL to article: http://frontpagemag.com/2011/09/30/hollywood-the-democrats-secret-weapon/ Network television’s new offerings this year offer more evidence to the effect that Hollywood is the PR machine for the Democratic left. No matter that our leftist president is wildly unpopular; never mind that Americans are resonating to Constitutional messages as […]

A Rational Fear of Islamism
http://www.nationalreview.com/articles/print/278722
Not all fears are irrational, nor criticism unwarranted.
In recent months, several reports have appeared to a generally uncritical reception in the press, which purport to expose alleged conspiracies organized by “Islamophobes” against American citizens who mean us no harm. These reports single out for condemnation a dozen prominent conservative figures (and mostly the same dozen) who have publicly criticized the misogyny, bigotry, and terrorism promoted by many (but not all) Islamic institutions and religious texts.
The term “Islamophobia” itself was invented by the Muslim Brotherhood, which is the political fountainhead of Islamic terror, having spawned al-Qaeda and created Hamas. Not coincidently, the reports themselves have been produced by Brotherhood fronts like CAIR, and jihadist apologists like the Southern Poverty Law Center. But the latest and most elaborate Islamophobia report, transparently derivative of its predecessors, has been issued by the Center for American Progress, which is a brain trust of the Democratic party. It thus marks a disturbing development in this ugly campaign.

Robert Conquest, pre-eminent historian of the genocides, purges and terrors of the Soviet Union, has long contemplated the blinders the West wears so as not to look at the millions of dead bodies for which the gigantically Evil Empire was responsible.
“Why people didn’t, and still don’t, understand the communist regimes has to do with their concentration on reputable, or reputable-sounding, phenomena,” Conquest wrote in a 2005 essay. “This is what amounts to an attempt to tame the data or, perhaps more correctly, a mental or psychological bent toward blocking the real essentials, the real meaning.”
In only rare instances is this block ever exposed. One memorable example came when Jimmy Carter announced to the world that the December 1979 Soviet invasion of Afghanistan “has made a more dramatic change in my own opinion of what the Soviets’ ultimate goals are than anything they have done in the previous time I’ve been in office.” Since this was the president of the United States talking, not Little Bo Peep, such laughable naivete — evidence of taming the data, or blocking reality — was subject to ridicule, even at the time.
