Arie Friedman files for 10th District Republican primary
Springfield –In a dramatic move sure to bring energy and excitement to the Republican race for the 10th District, Arie Friedman MD filed his nominating petitions and officially joined the contest this afternoon. Arie, a 1983 graduate of Highland Park High School, completed a degree in biology at the University of Chicago in 1987. From 1987 until 1994, he spent seven years on active duty with the US Navy, during which he served as a pilot for the Navy’s workhorse helicopter the SH-60B Seahawk. Dr. Friedman’s military experiences have given him special insight into the needs of those who defend us and the role they play in maintaining our way of life.
