Memeorandum was abuzz yesterday over supposed revelations that O’Donnell said that she ‘dabbled in witchcraft’ in 1999. The MSM seems to have a long term memory problem, because they neglect that Hillary Clinton more than dabbled in witchcraft – she held a seance at the White House and channeled Eleanor Roosevelt and Mahatma Gandhi. From the Village Voice back in 1999:

At the prompting of New Age guru Jean Houston, Hillary engaged in fantasy chats with Roosevelt and Mahatma Gandhi, two of the First Lady’s heroes.

So how about chilling out, MSM? This is just another effort to smear Christine O’Donnell. It has nothing to do with our economy. Or ObamaCare. Or an ever-expanding federal government well beyond its constitutional bounds. This has everything to do with the politics of personal destruction that the Democrats have become exceedingly good at.
