Conservative Values Applied to Solutions

As important as the issues are in any campaign, the values underpinning my stands on the issues are even more important.

I believe in the values of our founding fathers as espoused in the 28 founding principles, not the least of which are: limited government, free enterprise and the rule of law as established by our Constitution.

National Defense – The safety and security of our citizens should be our government’s number one priority.

Economy – If we want our economy to grow and produce jobs again, we must rely on a vibrant private sector to pull us out of the recession.

Government Spending – Since the end of last year, our Federal Government has gone on a spending spree unlike anything seen in human history. It must be stopped.

Health Care – A full 80% of Americans have said in polls that they are satisfied with their current health coverage.

2nd Amendment – I am a strong supporter of our constitutionally provided right to bear arms.

Illegal Immigration – It is the responsibility of our government to foster, manage and maintain a secure – and fair – immigration process.

Family Issues – I am strongly Pro-Life and believe in the sanctity of all human life.

Education – I firmly believe in school choice and believe that every child should have the choice of attending any school for which he/she qualifies academically.

Local Infrastructure Route 53 Extension – The extension of Route 53 is a quality of life issue for residents of Lake and McHenry counties who must deal with unnecessary traffic congestion and long commute times.
