HILLARY’S FOOT IN MOUTH…NOW SAYS LOUGHNER WAS “POLITICALLY MOTIVATED”

Not content to have made a fool of herself by calling the clearly insane Jared Loughner an “extremist,” SecState Hillary Clinton has doubled down and averred that he “acted politically.”
“Based on what I know, this is a criminal defendant who was in some ways motivated by his own political views, who had a particular animus toward the congresswoman,” Clinton said in an interview with CNN. “And I think when you cross the line from expressing opinions that are of conflicting differences in our political environment into taking action that’s violent action, that’s a hallmark of extremism, whether it comes from the right, the left, from Al Qaeda, from anarchists, whoever it is. That is a form of extremism.”Clinton added, “So, yes, I think that when you’re a criminal who is in some way pursuing criminal activity connected to – however bizarre and poorly thought through – your political views, that’s a form of extremism.”
Foolish liberals rushed in to blame Sarah Palin, the tea party, Rush Limbaugh and conservatives for Laughner, only to have the nation collectively reject this tripe. Yet, for reasons known only to herself, Hillary Clinton has chosen to jump aboard this sinking ship.
As Laughner forces us to contemplate dementia, one must wonder what has been going on within Mrs. Clinton’s skull. Losing to Barack Obama when she thought she had the Democratic nomination sewn up must have been painful, but has it affected her political judgment? On the other hand, the author of Hillarycare and fabricator of the “vast right wing conspiracy” paranoid delusion has never been exactly in touch with the flow of American politics.
It has been a tough few days for Hillary. Figuratively, and quite literally, she has fallen on her butt:
