Brothers Harold “Heshy” King (19) and George King (22) died in the Normandy Invasion.

Message from the President of the United States Franklin Delano Roosevelt to the family of both.

“HE STANDS IN THE LONG LINE OF PATRIOTS WHO HAVE DARED TO DIE  THAT FREEDOM MIGHT LIVE AND GROWN AND INCREASE ITS BLESSINGS. FREEDOM LIVES AND THROUGH IT HE LIVES- IN A WAY THAT HUMBLES THE UNDERTAKINGS OF MOST MEN.”
