WAR ON CHEWING TOBACCO CONTINUES
Religious leaders are hoping to hit a home run in a campaign to get Major League Baseball players to ban tobacco use on fields and dugouts of the national pastime.
More than two dozen members of the coalition group Faith United Against Tobacco wrote May 30 to Michael Weiner, executive director of the Major League Baseball Players Association, focusing on the hazards of smokeless tobacco.
“What players do on their own time is their business, but what they do when they are in uniform and on camera is all of ours, especially considering what’s at stake,” wrote the leaders
Come on ‘leaders’ why wuss out now? How can we possibly let them do what they want on their own time? They’re famous people. When photos are taken of them at any time, it influences young boys to chew tobacco and leads to sprees of mass murder. For that matter when photos are taken of anybody with tobacco. Even smoking bears.
Why should anyone ever be allowed to do anything that is disapproved of by anyone?
Faith United Against Tobacco includes the American Muslim Foundation, which appears to have been founded by Alamoudi with Gaddafi’s money. But luckily no one’s paying attention to unimportant stuff like that, which just distracts us from the war on chewing tobacco.
GET YOUR DAMN SOCIALISM OUT OF MY SOCIALISM
Some Republicans are attacking new rules that require colleges that receive federal aid to give degrees that are useful for something. They would have a point if transactions between students and colleges were being regulated. But why in the world is there opposition to imposing some kind of reality test on the government should be funding useless degrees.
This isn’t a defense of the free market, it comes down to reforming government aid. How exactly is that socialism.
The first draft of the rule would have prohibited for-profit programs from accepting students getting government aid money if fewer than 35 percent of former students had begun to repay their loans within three years.
A for-profit program will be considered to lead to gainful employment if the estimated loan payment of a typical graduate does not exceed 30 percent of discretionary income; or if the estimated loan payment of an average graduate does not exceed 12 percent of total earnings.
How exactly is this a bad thing? Why should Federal aid money be going to colleges that don’t lead to gainful employment. If we’re going to provide educational aid– then we should be doing it to create jobs.
The only rational critique of this is that it doesn’t go far enough and fails to regulate state schools. That’s a fair critique. But it’s not a challenge to the regulations themselves. I don’t want to see for profit schools decline, but defending scam schools which exist off federal money is not exactly Going Galt. No legitimate for profit school should have a problem meeting those standards. Schools which promise students that they’ll be master chefs earning six figures within 3 years. Good riddance.
The real critique here should be to demand these standards then be applied to non-profit schools if they want to receive Federal Aid. Instead Republicans are missing an opportunity by mounting an attack on regulation of Federal aid. A position that makes absolutely no sense whatsoever.
SHEIKH CLAIMS ISLAM POSSESSED BY THE DEVIL

A sheikh familiar with an Arab truck driver who went on a recent rampage in Tel Aviv says the man, Issa Ibrahim Islam, was “possessed by the devil” at the time of the incident.
So does this mean that Muslims now consider ‘the devil’ a martyr and a hero of the Arab Nation? If Islam was possessed by the devil while trying to kill Jews, then the devil should get the credit.
The sheikh claims he treated Islam, who he said was in a difficult mental state before the incident took place.
A lot of people have tried to treat Islam’s difficult mental state. With no results.
The truck driver prayed at his mosque frequently, the sheikh said.
That there’s the root of the problem.
The sheikh, who was interrogated by police Wednesday, said that Islam was “possessed by the devil,” which prompted him to press the gas pedal of his heavy truck.
About time somebody admitted the truth about Islam.
On the recent “Nakba Day,” Islam went on a rampage with his truck in southern Tel Aviv, killing one person and wounding 17. The sheikh, who was interrogated by police Wednesday, said that Islam was “possessed by the devil,” which prompted him to press the gas pedal of his heavy truck.
Question. Were the other Muslim drivers who have done the same thing also possessed by the devil? And why does the devil choose to possess Muslims on Nakba Day? Maybe the entire Muslim terrorist venture is all done by a very busy multitasking devil.
The sheikh said he treated Islam using alternative methods in the days before the incident. The treatment included rubbing oil on the suspect’s stomach while reciting Koran verses.
This sounds more like some sort of Islamic orgy. But paging Samuel Huntington. Have you considered rubbing oil on Islam’s stomach while reciting Koran verses, maybe that will settle down the rumblings of the clash of civilizations.
WHY ARE PEOPLE ANGRY AT ISLAM?
You know who the real victim is in Islam’s truck frenzy? Islam.
The attorney of Issa Ibrahim Islam, the 22-year-old Arab truck driver who killed one person and wounded 18 in a suspected terror attack in Tel Aviv on “Nakba Day,” filed a complaint with the police after receiving letters containing threats and curse words against him and his client.
Just think of it. Curse words! Hasn’t he suffered enough.
In one of the threat letters Attorney Badir Mufid presented to the police, the sender included pictures of Osama bin Laden, Hamas prime minister in Gaza Ismail Haniyeh, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas as well as a picture of the suspect himself, with swastikas drawn on their foreheads.
I don’t think that qualifies as a threat. More like an accurate description.
The letter contained racist slurs, calling the driver “a pig son of a pig”, “Palestinazi,” and other debasing statements.
On behalf of the Jewish people, I deeply condemn this. And I want to completely disassociate myself from such an attitude.
Just because Islam killed a man in the name of Islam, does not give anyone the right to call him a pig. Pigs are useful animals who consume more waste than they produce. A pig would never go on a killing spree and then blame the devil. It just wouldn’t.
The lawyer presented the letter to Islam’s family, and after a consultation they decided to file a complaint at the police. “We still don’t know who is behind these malicious acts,” he said,
I’m going to go out on a limb and guess that it’s something who doesn’t like murderers. Or the devil.
ISLAM WAS PROBABLY TIRED
“He was probably tired,” a relative told Ynet.
Being possessed by the devil will do that to you. Also trying to kill people.
“My son doesn’t kill Jews,” his mother insisted. “I can’t wait to talk to him already, hear what happened and how he’s feeling. I’m asking the Israeli government to support him
Yes he killed only one Jew. Singular. The others were wounded.
“Our son isn’t a terrorist. Everything that’s being said and all of the allegations have no basis,” a relative told Ynet.
Apart from the thing where he ran over cars and people. No basis beyond that. And even if it happened he was possessed by the devil at the time.
Unfortunately many of the Israeli racists on the scene insist on believing the worst of Islam.
“He had murder in his eyes,” claimed the driver of a bus hit by the truck.
Other witnesses said the truck driver got out of the truck and tried to assault a woman with a traffic light that had collapsed.
But I’m sure he only did that because he was very tired.
In a saner system, Islam would be routed through the justice system to reunite with the devil back in hell.
FOXMAN STANDS UP FOR ISLAM
The other Islam. The one that’s like Nazism. But not according to the ADL.
In fact, many if not most Muslims in Europe and in America immigrated to find a better life for themselves and to freely practice their faith.
Muslims left behind Muslim countries to be able to freely practice their own faith? Are they not allowed to practice it in Pakistan or Saudi Arabia? Did this make sense to Foxman when he wrote it or is he using some kind of generic ‘tolerance’ template.
Second, the notion that Islam is something that needs to be opposed in the same manner as people resisted Adolf Hitler and the Nazis is outrageous and offensive.
Nazism was a racist and genocidal political movement unlike any other in history, responsible for the massacre of six million Jews and millions of others in the Holocaust. One simply cannot and should not lump Muslims into the same category as Hitler.
Who is it outrageous and offensive to, Nazis or Muslims?
One can and should. Muslims have killed millions of people. Islam is also a movement unlike any other in history. And it has been killing Jews for over a thousand years.
So in response to your question about why is it bigoted for people to “oppose Muslims,” to me the answer is clear: It is bigoted when one assumes the worst about an entire faith based on the beliefs of a few
That would be true if only a few Muslims believed that the Koran gives them the right to kill infidels, that infidels are inferior to them or that the women of the enemy can be raped at will. That is very clearly not the case.
If only we can conduct a jihadist invasion at least once a year or if possible twice or three times, then many people on earth would become Muslims. And if anyone prevents our dawa or stands in our way, then we must kill them or take as hostage and confiscate their wealth, women and children. Such battles will fill the pockets of the Mujahid who can return home with 3 or 4 slaves, 3 or 4 women and 3 or 4 children. This can be a profitable business if you multiply each head by 300 or 400 dirham. This can be like financial shelter whereby a jihadist, in time of financial need, can always sell one of these heads (meaning slavery)
This quote doesn’t come from the 7th century. They come from a popular Egyptian sheikh today. This is not some crazy minority that thinks this way. This is what Islam is. A financial investment in terror. But like Ben Stein in Ferris Bueller’s Day Off… Foxman drones on with his cant of tolerance.

Islam treats ‘diversity’ in its belief system as a crime and persecutes and kills those responsible. Sunnis and Shiites have yet to stop killing each other. Witness the persecution of the Ahmadis in Pakistan. Islam does not like diversity. It wants absolute conformity.

THE DEVIL WITHIN
Should Islam be worried? The truck driving one, not the religion one. Not too much. The Israeli judicial system, much like the English judicial system is very understanding of crimes committed by people named Islam.
Take the brutal murder of Arik Karp for standing up to the Arab Muslims harassing his family at the beach. And the very ‘understanding’ sentences they received.
But the everyday reality is much worse. Read the following translated article from the Honenu civil rights organization. And keep in mind that it takes place well within Obama’s favorite 1967 borders.
In the UK, you can go to jail for burning a Koran, but if like Lorraine Mbulawa, you don gloves, a mask and black clothes, and repeatedly stab your mother, you can walk away claiming to have been possessed by evil spirits. And an English Judge will set you free.

No doubt. Homicidal con artists often are. Lorraine is probably not a Muslim. But she is the beneficiary of a society gone mad. A society whose ruling class has tossed aside anything resembling rational values.
Objective reality no longer exists. If you assert something loudly enough and consistently enough, you may find a sympathetic audience. It worked for the Muslim terrorist gangs who rebranded themselves as Palestinians. It worked for a woman who donned a disguise and when her attack fell apart, blamed evil spirits. And how can you argue with that? The multicultural reality demands that we accept the beliefs of others as equally valid, no matter how irrational or demented.
There’s a lesson here. Instead of Weiner blaming hackers, he should have blamed the devil.
