THACI Subcommittee Chair, Sue Myrick, Announces Open Hearing
WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Representative Sue Myrick (NC), Chairwoman of the Subcommittee on Terrorism, HUMINT, Analysis, and Counterintelligence (THACI) today announced an open subcommittee hearing on Thursday, July 14, 2011. The hearing will focus on the Bipartisan Policy Center’s recently released report, “Preventing Violent Radicalization in America”.
Dr. Peter Neumann, principal author of the report, will testify as to the findings and recommendations in the report. Dr. John Gannon, a member of the Bipartisan Policy Center’s National Security Preparedness Group, will provide context and analysis of the issue.
