http://gatesofvienna.blogspot.com/2011/09/celebrating-912-with-roundabout-dog.html#more Celebrating 9/12 with a Roundabout Dog The convergence of two significant events prompts this celebration of 9/12. Today Lars Vilks and the Modoggies were back in the news with the latest reports about the terror arrests in Gothenburg. It is thought that Mr. Vilks may have been the intended target for this new Mohammed-intensive […]
Israel’s Tenured Extremists: The Decade since “Socrates” by Steven Plaut The following article appears in the Fall 2011 issue of the Middle East Quarterly: http://www.meforum.org/meq/ Israel is under assault from within, and not just from the usual suspects. Its legitimacy and, in many cases, its very existence are being attacked by a domestic academic Fifth […]
Catherine Philp in Washington and Jerome Starkey in Kabul America has given its blessing for the Taleban to be brought in from the cold with a critical step towards reconciliation as the world paused to mark the tenth anniversary of the 9/11 attacks. The Times has learnt that Washington has endorsed plans for the Islamist […]
The ‘War on Terror’ Is All About God Posted By Andrew Klavan URL to article: http://pajamasmedia.com/andrewklavan/2011/09/12/the-war-on-terror-is-all-about-god/Several years ago, I was speaking with a left-wing journalist who was rather hysterical about the subject of religion — although perhaps I repeat myself. In any case, she had heard that then-President George W. Bush prayed for guidance before […]

The Taliban claimed responsibility for the […]
http://sultanknish.blogspot.com/ When Obama set off to visit the victims of Hurricane Irene, instead of visiting the American victims who had lost their homes and possessions– he headed off to Patterson, New Jersey. Patterson is known as ‘Patterstine’ for a reason, it’s home to the second largest Arab community after Dearborn, and while most of its […]
I LIKE BACHMANN BUT THIS HYPERBOLE IS RIDICULOUS AS ROGER SIMON SAYS:
“Bachmann, too, once flying high, has herself sunk to a mere 4% (tied with “None/No one”) since Perry entered the race. No wonder she’s sore at the Texan. She took after him, as did Santorum, during the Monday debate because some years ago Perry evidently tried by fiat to have high school girls vaccinated against cancer of the cervix. Perry admitted this approach was a mistake and this whole thing had apparently been rehashed ad infinitum by Kay Bailey Hutchison in her recent, ill-fated run against Perry for the Texas gubernatorial nomination, but never mind. To Bachmann and Santorum this attempt to prevent cancer, whether ill-founded or not, was a form of child molestation or something. The more they went on about this, the more rabid, and frankly scary, they sounded.”
“To have innocent little
12-year old girls be forced
to have a government injection through an executive order
is just flat out wrong.”

I’m offended.
If you watched tonight’s Republican debate, you saw Rick Perry defend his decision to mandate a vaccine for young girls through an executive order while he was governor of Texas. As a mother, I have raised three biological daughters and 23 foster daughters, and I believe taking away a parents right to direct the health care of their children is flat out wrong . It’s a violation of liberty and everything you and I stand for.
Round Two: Rick Perry and the Seven Dwarfs Posted By Roger L Simon URL to article: http://pajamasmedia.com/rogerlsimon/2011/09/12/round-two-rick-perry-and-the-seven-dwarfs/ They say it ain’t over ’til it’s over or the fat lady sings at least a dozen times, finally making all the high notes in Aida and La Traviata in succession. Nevertheless — after only his second […]
http://townhall.com/columnists/calthomas/2011/09/13/president_obamas_folly/print “If you live long enough, you’ll make mistakes. But if you learn from them, you’ll be a better person.” — Bill Clinton Nearly every time President Obama delivers a speech about the economy or jobs, something bad happens. His speech to Congress last Thursday night is the latest example. The next day, the Dow […]
http://townhall.com/columnists/thomassowell/2011/09/13/back_to_the_future/print Those who are impressed by words seem to think that President Barack Obama made a great speech to Congress last week. But, when you look beyond the rhetoric, what did he say that was fundamentally different from what he has been saying and doing all along? Are we to continue doing the same kinds […]
