BRUCE KESLER: CHICAGO 2012?

http://maggiesfarm.anotherdotcom.com/archives/18619-Chicago-2012.html “Chicago” 2012? The riots by anti-Vietnam war protestors at the Democrat Convention in Chicago in 1968 received mostly favorable coverage from the major media at the time, as it bemoaned the police actions. Contrary to their expectations, public opinion was negative toward the protestors and Democrats seen as weak on public order, which helped […]

THE PRESENCE OF JEWS IN EUROPE WILL END

http://www.israelnationalnews.com/Articles/Article.aspx/10881

Interview Series: Leon de Winter, one of the best-known Dutch writers, says,“What is happening in the Netherlands and Europe is a prelude of terrible things to come. The presence of Jews in Europe will end.”

Dr. Manfred Gerstenfeld (The writer has been a long-term adviser on strategy issues to the Boards of several major multinational corporations in Europe and North America. He is the Chairman of the Board of the Jerusalem Center for Public Affairs.)

“The Netherlands is to a certain extent a decadent country, in particular if one observes Dutch society. In the 1960’s, a process started in which all forms of deviant behavior that one could imagine were openly tolerated. Normative behavior – civil decency – has been lost.”

Leon de Winter was born in 1954. He is one of the Netherlands’ best known writers. For several years he was associated with the Hudson Institute think tank. In 2006, he was awarded the Buber-Rosenzweig medal in Germany for his battle against anti-Semitic and racist attitudes in society.

De Winter remarks: “I am a Dutchman and I very much like the Netherlands, its craziness, its contradictions and the schizophrenia. On the one hand, it has a strong Calvinist slant in combination with an almost anarchistic tolerance. Dutch Society continuously seeks equilibrium and has many faces, which makes it very interesting.

“Identifying with Israel makes me Jewish. I am not religious, but I clearly show where my sympathies lie in the Palestinian-Israeli conflict. I think that many people take that as a sign of my Jewishness.”

De Winter claims that he doesn’t care about “extreme reactions” to what he says. “When I have participated in a debate about Israel on TV, I do not want to know about the emails the station receives in response. I know that there are many negative remarks about me on Moroccan, Muslim and Neo-Nazi websites, but I’m not going to search for them.

HERBERT LONDON: ISRAEL AND THE EXISTENTIAL THREAT

http://www.hudson-ny.org/2603/israel-existential-threat For a variety of reasons, including a misguided infatuation with soft power, neither the United States nor Israel has exercised the legitimate right of anticipatory, or pre-emptive, self defense against Iran. As a result, Iran’s entry into the nuclear club is almost a given. In Israel, a nation already targeted for annihilation; self defense […]

GREGORY D. LEE: IF OBAMA WANTED JOB CREATION, HE WOULD APPROVE THE PIPELINE

http://www.familysecuritymatters.org/publications/id.10873/pub_detail.asp
Last week the Obama Administration announced that it is delaying a decision to build an international pipeline from Canada to U.S. refineries until it can further study alternative routes and safety concerns. The president said, “We should take the time to ensure that all questions are properly addressed and all the potential impacts are properly understood.” According to the Associated Press, his decision will most likely delay a decision on constructing the pipeline until after the 2012 presidential elections.

So much for this “shovel ready” project that would have lessened America’s dependence on Middle East oil by at least 700,000 barrels of oil a day, enhanced national security and provide upwards of 20,000 good paying U.S. jobs. As it turns out, according to the AP, some liberal donors threatened to withhold campaign contributions to Obama’s re-election if he approved the project. Think that might have influenced the president’s decision to shelve the pipeline?

RYAN MAURO: UC PRESIDENT MARK YUDOF STANDS UP FOR THE OCCUPIERS BUT NOT FOR THE JEWS

UC President Mark Yudof Stands Up for Occupiers but Not Jews Posted By Ryan Mauro

URL to article: http://frontpagemag.com/2011/11/22/uc-president-mark-yudof-stands-up-for-occupiers-but-not-jews/

The University of California President Mark Yudof is reacting aggressively to the uproar over video of police using pepper spray on student protesters who refused their orders to move. He has put the campus police’s chief on administrative leave and is reviewing its procedures. If only he were so pro-active in fighting pro-terrorist, anti-Semitic rhetoric and Islamist extremism since becoming president of the University of California in 2008.

President Yudof responded to the use of pepper spray with public condemnation. He is contacting all 10 of his chancellors to discuss how to promote responsible law enforcement and is examining the rules regarding the use of force. The force may have been excessive, but Yudof’s decisive response stands in sharp contrast to his reaction to outbursts of anti-Semitism, pro-terrorist propaganda and promotion of extremists in his school system. Supporters of Israel and opponents of Islamism are left bewildered at the discrepancy.

EDITORIAL: ATTORNEY GENERAL HOLDER FREES DRUG SUSPECT AND PROSECUTES LAWMAN

http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2011/nov/21/immunity-from-justice/
EDITORIAL: Immunity from Justice
Lady Justice has tossed aside her blindfold and tipped her scale. A border-crossing drug smuggler walks free while the officer who arrested him has been jailed. In the age of Obama, the law has been turned upside down.

U.S. Border Patrol Agent Jesus E. Diaz Jr. is set to spend the next two years behind bars after being sentenced last month for what the Justice Department called deprivation of an illegal-immigrant suspect’s constitutional right to freedom from the use of unreasonable force. The unnamed Mexican suspect, who was 15 at the time of his arrest in 2008, received immunity from drug-smuggling and illegal-entry charges for his testimony against the American Border Patrol agent who intercepted him near Eagle Pass, Texas.

Mr. Diaz was nailed for purportedly lifting the teenager’s handcuffed hands over his head and putting his knee in the boy’s back. His attorneys argued at trial that the suspect bore no evidence of injury and the only marks were caused by the shoulder straps of a backpack laden with marijuana found at the arrest site. The Mexican Consulate in Texas interviewed the suspect following the arrest. Based on his account, the Mexican government urged that the agent be prosecuted. U.S. Attorney General Eric H. Holder Jr.’s Justice Department did just that. READ MORE AT SITE
