The recent Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) release of a Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) has provided more questions than answers. According to the DIA, a preliminary report informed then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton on Sept. 12, 2012 that the previous day’s Benghazi, Libya, terrorist attack that left four Americans dead had been planned “at least ten days in advance” by al -Qaida and Muslim Brotherhood-linked terrorists, according to a statement released on Thursday by Special Operations OPSEC, a public-interest group of retired special operations military veterans.
In a heavily redacted memorandum dated Sept. 12, 2012 — the day after the Benghazi slaughter of four Americans including U.S. Ambassador Chris Stevens — the DIA informed Hillary Clinton, then-Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta, President Obama’s National Security Council and the military’s Joint Chiefs of Staff that the Islamic terrorists planned their attack about 10 or more days prior to the slaughter that occurred on the day the U.S. acknowledged the 11th Anniversary of the attacks in New York, Washington, D.C., and Pennsylvania that killed about 3,000 innocent people.
DIA documents also confirm the suspicions that the U.S. government was aware of military-grade arms being transported from the terrorist hotbed of Benghazi to war-torn Syria for use by rebel forces against the Al-Assad regime. In addition, the report contains an August 2012 analysis of intelligence that predicted “the meteoric rise of al-Qaida in Iraq terrorists” who morphed into the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS), arguably the cruelest, violent and deadly terrorist group in the world. “It also predicted the failure of Obama’s foreign policy aimed at regime change in Syria,” said officials at Judicial Watch, another public-interest group.
“Besides the cover-up of the true motive for the attack, Hillary Clinton and her lackeys wanted to keep the Muslim Brotherhood’s role in planning the attack and selecting the target under wraps. She was on record telling Americans — as did President Barack Obama — that the Muslim Brotherhood is a moderate group,” said former police counterterrorism unit member, Joseph Larzenby. In fact, Clinton and Obama both openly supported Egyptian President Morsi, who was connected to the radical Islamist group, the Muslim Brotherhood. The group had been placed on the terrorist watch lists of a number of countries, but not the U.S. State Department’s terrorist designation list.
“So while we now have proof that Hillary Clinton knowingly lied about the reason for the attack in blaming a pathetic, obscure video for the murder of Ambassador Chris Stevens and three other brave Americans, we still haven’t gotten to the bottom of this cover-up,” stated former U.S. Navy SEAL Scott Taylor, the current OPSEC president.
The documents also contend that the terrorists intended to attack the sparsely protected U.S. diplomatic mission in order to kill as many American officials as possible. The motive for the attack was believed to have been revenge for the U.S. counterterrorism operation credited with killing of Abu Yahya al-Libi, a high-level al-Qaida terrorist killed by U.S. drone strikes in North Waziristan.
“The fight to hold would-be President Hillary Clinton and the Obama Administration accountable for their disastrous handling of the fatal events in Benghazi on Sept. 11, 2012 continues – and the truth is starting to come out,” noted Scott Taylor. “Just last week, after finally complying with Freedom of Information Act court orders, the Department of State and the Department of Defense declassified over 100 pages of previously secret documents, and the revelations, although no surprise, are no less shocking,” he said.
Taylor and OPSEC claim they now have prima facie evidence that presidential wannabe Hillary Clinton intentionally lied about the motive for the Benghazi attack. She — and the rest of Barack Obama’s minions and sycophants — blamed an obscure video about Islam as the reason for the murder of Amb. Stevens and three other brave Americans, we still haven’t gotten to the bottom of this cover-up. Taylor and his organization’s members still have a number of questions for Hillary Clinton and her minions. They include the question of: Why did she deny requests for additional security in Benghazi in the days leading up to the attack?
There is also the question that lingers in the minds of thousands of U.S. military and intelligence officials: Were U.S. assets who were ready and willing to respond to repeated pleas for help by the American diplomats told to stand down? And why was Hillary Clinton using a personal email server for her official Department of State communications, and why did she delete over 30,000 messages instead of making them available to the investigation?
According to Scott Taylor, “America can’t afford to let Hillary Clinton successfully cover up whatever it is she’s hiding – and here at OPSEC, we’re doing everything we can to make sure she answers for her role in the horrible deaths of Chris Stevens, Sean Smith, Tyrone Woods, and Glen Doherty. It’s taken over two years for these new details to be revealed – but there’s so much more to learn, and we must keep the pressure on.”
Scott Taylor joined the U.S. Navy and became a Navy SEAL when he was 19-years-old. As a member of special forces, Scott also served as a Sniper in Operation Iraqi Freedom, but suffered serious injuries in a fall during an Iraq combat mission in 2005. Scott served a decade in the SEAL teams and teaching his fellow SEALs marksmanship and reconnaissance.
