And while this voluntary abandonment of Western values and culture unfolds before our eyes – as nations slide ever closer toward the caliphate – sanitized language is used to mask the reality of what is occurring.  Here are a few examples of innocuous words that obscure the truth.

Asylum seekers: This is a popular term used to describe a large swath of people we know little to nothing about (though we know enough to know we must not accept them).  The phrase suggests innocent people fleeing imminent danger whom we should welcome with open arms.  And more than welcome.  We must give them food, clothing, shelter, education, medical care, job training, transportation, and interpreter services, among other benefits.

Refugees: This is a generic term that is also used frequently.  It applies to hordes of people from who knows where invading country after country.  Like asylum seekers, it suggests that people in dire need of protection and care whom we are obligated to embrace lest we appear to be hateful bigots.  And if we must sacrifice our fundamental values along the way, not to mention, perhaps, our lives, oh well.

Syrian refugees: Despite the fact that the U.N. has documented that only half of these invaders (my word, not theirs) are from Syria, the media continues to call all the people streaming out of the Middle East and North Africa Syrians.  But, hey, facts are optional to the leftist media.

Migrants: This sounds like a group of pour souls wandering aimlessly, just trying to get by.  How can anyone not care about migrants?  And if many of them arrive with a hefty dose of entitlement, so what?  We must atone for our sins and not complain.

Irregular migrants: This is a subset of migrants that sounds a bit more ragtag than regular migrants.  Or perhaps “irregular” is code for “Muslim.”  It wouldn’t be the first time the West spoke in code when it comes to Muslims, who are often referred to as Asians, immigrants, youths, immigrant youth, North Africans, and so forth.

Settlers: Once a migrant arrives in the West and has been linked with every imaginable government benefit and service, the verbiage to describe him may transition to “settler.”  Never mind that, as Wikipedia notes, “A settler is a person who has migrated to an area and established permanent residence there, often to colonize the area.”  (More on colonizing later.)

Mediterranean Sea arrivals: Sometimes referred to as Mediterranean Sea migrant arrivals, this is the name assigned by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) that sounds like a sweet group of people, or perhaps shipping containers, or maybe turtles.  Who knows?  One thing’s for sure: it’s hard to imagine that Mediterranean Sea arrivals might include some folks who want to kill us.

So here’s a novel idea: how about we try using language that does a more accurate job of capturing what’s going on?  I suggest the following.  No doubt, AT readers will have additional ideas.

Muslim Males of Unknown Origin: As documented by the UNHCR, the vast majority of invaders are men.  And if pictures tell the story, they are young.  With the fake Syrian passport business booming, we have no idea where they are coming from (not that we should be accepting actual Syrians, either).

Criminals, Rapists, and Thugs: Many invaders are acting out.  And by acting out I mean screaming, threatening, spitting, robbing, defecating in public, plotting heinous acts, demanding, fighting, setting fires, throwing things, raping, beating women, beating children, and on and on and on.  (See here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, and here for a small sampling of the hell the West is so eager to import.)

Invaders: The exodus from Syria and countless other countries in the Middle East and North Africa comprises millions of people.  The influx is massive, and many of them appear not so much fleeing from as going to or invading.

Colonizers: To “migrate,” “settle in,” and “occupy as a colony.”  Whole portions of Islamic countries are being transplanted into Europe.  So, yes, Muslim invaders are colonizing Europe.  (We have Muslim colonies here in the United States, too.)

Conquerors: Conquerors and conquest are defined as “the act of taking control of a country, city, etc. by use of force,” “to be victorious; win,” “to gain control of through great effort,” and subjugate, vanquish, win, defeat.  Although the invasion we are witnessing does not involve military force (yet), taking control and subjugation is the nature of immigration jihad (hijra).

Terrorists: Yes, there are terrorists among these young men from who knows where. And for those who are not yet terrorists, some will surely become “radicalized” once settled in their new homeland as the innocent-appearing refugee becomes a jihadist.  As Daniel Greenfield wrote in Front Page Magazine:

Before 9/11, the trial run for the attack was the World Trade Center bombing. The key figures in that attack…asked for political asylum. (snip)

Accepting terrorists as refugees leads to terrorist attacks on America.

While the World Trade Center bombing and the Boston Marathon bombing cases are the most famous terrorist attacks by Muslim refugees, there are numerous other cases of Muslim refugee terror.

Hijrah: This is the word for immigration jihad, where Muslims overwhelm a country and assert supremacy by sheer numbers.  (And it doesn’t take a lot of Muslims to completely destroy a once thriving Western culture.)  Of course, the media will never use the word hijrah.  Most likely, few if any journalists even know what the word means.  But as Robert Spencer has so powerfully written in Front Page Magazine:

… The entire continent of Europe is being inundated with refugees at a rate unprecedented in world history. This is no longer just a “refugee crisis.” This is a hijrah.

… Evidence that this is a hijrah, not simply a humanitarian crisis, came last February, but was little noted at the time and almost immediately forgotten. The Islamic State published a document entitled, “Libya: The Strategic Gateway for the Islamic State.” Gateway into Europe, that is: the document exhorted Muslims to go to Libya and cross from there as refugees into Europe. This document tells would-be jihadis that weapons from Gaddafi’s arsenal are plentiful and easy to obtain in Libya – and that the country “has a long coast and looks upon the southern Crusader states, which can be reached with ease by even a rudimentary boat.”

The Islamic State did not have in mind just a few jihadis crossing from Libya: it also emerged last February that the jihadis planned to flood Europe with as many as 500,000 refugees. Now the number is shooting well beyond that in Germany alone….

But despite knowing that this group of mostly young Muslim men from who knows where include thugs, criminals, rapists, jihadists, and jihadist wannabes – despite knowing these people have hate in their DNA, raised from birth to abhor non-believers – to shun them, lie to them, kill them – despite the chaos we are witnessing before our eyes that is unfolding across Europe – despite understanding that this is not about a “Syrian refugee crisis,” but about hijrah – despite all of that, the left (and far too many on the right) can’t fling open our doors wide enough or fast enough to welcome them with open arms (and lots of taxpayer services).

Please stand and be counted.  Make your voice heard.  We cannot afford to go down this path.

We cannot – we must not – accept a single invader.  No matter what anyone may call them.
