While Christians and Yazidis are the two groups most persecuted in this Muslim religious war, they are also the least likely to be admitted as refugees by Obama.
Here are the truly shameful numbers, from Patrick Goodenough.
Of 2,184 Syrian refugees admitted into the U.S. since the Syrian civil war erupted in 2011, only 53 (2.4 percent) have been Christians while 2098 (or 96 percent) have been Muslims, according to State Department statistics updated on Monday.
The remaining 33 include 1 Yazidi, 8 Jehovah Witnesses, 2 Baha’i, 6 Zoroastrians, 6 of “other religion,” 7 of “no religion,” and 3 atheists.
1 Yazidi. 53 Christians. 2,184 Muslims.
Imagine if during the Holocaust, the US had focused on taking in “moderate Nazis” while leaving the Jews to die. That is what Obama’s Muslims First refugee policy looks like. And it’s outrageous.
In Islamist Turkey, Obama claimed that a religious test for refugees showed a lack of compassion. Even though religious tests are one of the basic ways we determine persecution. Someone claiming to be persecuted because of their Jewish or Christian belief will be asked religious questions.
But these numbers show that Obama has his own unofficial religious test that appears to favor Muslims.
Here, via Ann of Refugee Resettlement Watch, are the numbers for last month.
Of the 187 admitted to the US this month, 183 are Sunni Muslims. There were 3 Catholics and 1 Christian. That is 98% Muslim.
This is an outrage. And it needs to be made an issue. Obama is leaving Christians to die while favoring Muslims. He’s leaving Yazidis to die while favoring Muslims. He’s privileging the oppressor population, the Muslim colonists oppressing the indigenous Christian and Yazidi population, while leaving their victims to die.
