Is The Left Preparing To Steal Your Vote?

Growing signs that the anti-Trump left in the Democratic Party is gearing up to make this one of the most fraudulent elections in our nation’s history bear close watching. Illegitimate votes should never be allowed to sway a presidential election, especially true for one whose outcome might well decide the future of our republic.

With the clock ticking down to Election Day, it was heartening to see that the Supreme Court on Monday stepped in to stop questionable changes made to South Carolina’s absentee-voting laws mere weeks before the election. Such on-the-fly tinkering by state or local election officials or judges can only lead to confusion and canceled votes. Which might well be the intent.

But with COVID-19 serving as a rationale for Blue States moving to vote-by-mail, the possibility for massive voter fraud around the nation has become very real.

A new report by the Public Interest Legal Foundation conclusively and exhaustively documents the immense nature of the problem. It created an enormous database of voting practices and irregularities across the nation, based on data from 42 states. (The group is suing three states, Illinois, Maine and Maryland, for not supplying voting data.)

According to the report: “It appears there are hundreds of thousands of undetected dead registrants, dead registrants casting ballots, registrants with multiple registrations within the same state and different states, people voting twice across state lines, and many registered at improper commercial addresses like casinos, gas stations, and restaurants.”

(By the way, that includes four votes that originated from National Public Radio’s Southern California headquarters, a clear violation of the law. Remember that the next time NPR runs another report denying voting fraud’s existence.)

All told, the report discovered just over 144,000 likely instances of potential voter fraud in the 2016 and 2018 election cycles, enough to sway outcomes in a number of states and certainly enough to put a presidential election in doubt.

It found that there are 349,773 dead people registered to vote; 7,890 of them voted in 2016 and 6,718 in 2018. And that’s just one insight from the report, which can be found here. The data are alarming, to say the least.

It also found 8,360 people who registered and voted in two states during the 2018 election; 43,760 who registered more than once at the same address and cast more than one vote in 2016, and 37,889 who did the same thing in 2018, with thousands of those votes coming via mail; 5,500 people voted twice in the same state from two separate addresses in 2018; and a whopping 34,000 used nonresidential commercial or business addresses.

Downplaying the risks and vulnerabilities for fraud in the current system only exacerbates existing problems and compromises the most sacred right a free people have,” noted Hans von Spakovsky and Kaitlyn Samalis-Aldrich, writing at the Heritage Foundation’s Daily Signal news site.

Von Spakovsky should know. An attorney, he has served on the Presidential Advisory Commission on Election Integrity, has been a member of the Federal Election Commission and, currently, manages the Heritage Foundation’s Election Law Reform Initiative.

Moreover, the alarming numbers above do not include the new, greater threat posed by the Democrats’ insistence we vote by mail – supposedly in response to COVID-19 but in reality something far more sinister.

A Democratic deep-dive data analytics group called Hawkfish, funded by billionaire leftist Michael Bloomberg, sketched out what it thinks will happen. The company chief calls it the “red mirage.”

“We are sounding an alarm and saying that this is a very real possibility, that the data is going to show on election night an incredible victory for Donald Trump,” Hawkfish CEO Josh Mendelsohn told Axios on HBO.

“When every legitimate vote is tallied and we get to that final day, which will be some day after Election Day, it will in fact show that what happened on election night was exactly that, a mirage. It looked like Donald Trump was in the lead and he fundamentally was not when every ballot gets counted,” he added.

The key phrase is “every legitimate vote.” A flood of Democratic ballots are likely to suddenly emerge weeks after the election. Will they be legitimate? Doubtful, but who knows? But they will create electoral chaos, which seems to be what the Democrats are betting on.

Americans who vote by mail have put their voting rights into the hands of perhaps the most dysfunctional government agency in America, the U.S. Postal Service. It’s plagued by delays and unfortunate incidents, including postal drivers dumping thousands of pieces of mail in the trash.

Even those who vote in person run the risk of having their suffrage stolen. In many jurisdictions, if a fraudulent mail-in ballot gets counted first, the vote cast by the actual registered person won’t be counted. That means you could cast a ballot on Election Day and find that someone already voted by mail in your name, and your vote doesn’t count.

The left keeps dismissing voter fraud as irrelevant because it’s not “widespread,” and then accuses anyone who brings it up as being guilty of voter suppression.

But a Democratic operative recently told the New York Post that voter fraud is routine, and pointed out that large-scale cheating isn’t needed to make an impact.

“An election that is swayed by 500 votes, 1,000 votes — it can make a difference,” he said. “It could be enough to flip states.”

Should Trump eventually be declared the winner after a lengthy count that goes well beyond election night, and despite the Democrat-led voting shenanigans, one prediction is easy to make: There will be riots on Inauguration Day that will last into the evening and beyond. Bet on it.

If you’re one of those in denial about voter fraud, you need to inform yourself. It’s no “red mirage.” It’s very real. Our system of government depends on the rule of law and free and fair elections. Sadly, Democrats seem to be running against both those ideals this year.
