Hunter Biden Calls Laptop a ‘Red Herring’ as Daily Mail Publishes Shocking New Photos and Texts By Debra Heine
During a television interview Thursday, Hunter Biden refused to admit that the infamous MacBook Pro—which exposed his family’s sketchy overseas business wheeling and dealings, as well as his own depraved, drug-induced sexual escapades—is his, even though the authenticity of his laptop has been verified by multiple sources. The scandal-plagued younger Biden asserted that any reporting on the bombshell cache of 103,000 text messages, 154,000 emails, more than 2,000 photos and dozens of videos, was a “red herring.”
He has recently admitted however that the laptop “could” be his, although he couldn’t remember dropping the device off at the repair shop.
The Daily Mail, which has conducted its own forensic investigation of the MacBook Pro, on Thursday published shocking, never-before-seen photos from the cache, including a horrifying pre-dental treatment close-up of Hunter Biden’s “meth-mouth,” and a photo of him frolicking on a bed with two prostitutes.
Texts published by The Daily Mail reveal:
• How he begged his father to run for president in 2019 to salvage Hunter’s own reputation
• How he repeatedly dodged police action against him, despite constantly dealing with drug pushers and prostitutes and having multiple run-ins with law enforcement
• Hunter was guarded by a Secret Service agent while on a 2018 drug and prostitute binge in Hollywood, despite not being entitled to protection at the time and amid denials from the federal agency
• Joe Biden was afraid his text conversations with Hunter were being hacked even as they discussed his White House bid
• How Hunter’s laptop is brimming with evidence of apparent criminal activity by Hunter and his associates including drug trafficking and prostitution.
Hunter appeared on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” as part of his rehabilitation book tour to promote his memoir, “Beautiful Things,” which deals with his years-long battle with drug addiction, and the resulting turmoil it caused in his life and the lives of his family members.
Kimmel introduced Biden on his show as “probably the most famous board member of a Ukrainian energy company of all time,” the New York Post reported.
The Post last October revealed that Hunter introduced his father to a top executive at Burisma, which had been investigated for corruption.
The revelations were contained in a series of emails found on a laptop dropped off at a Wilmington, Delaware, computer repair shop in April 2019 but never picked up.
Hunter’s work at Burisma has come under intense scrutiny by Congress and by federal prosecutors, who are investigating his “tax affairs” while sitting on the board.
He has acknowledged the probe into his finances but predicted he would be cleared in the long run.
The host gently mocked the 51-year-old’s claims of not remembering leaving the laptop at a Delaware repair shop, saying, “It is hard to believe unless you read the book. And then it’s like, I’m surprised you have shoes on.”
“The pants were the problem,” Biden quipped, tacitly admitting that substance abuse was a problem for him for years, including when he sat on powerful, lucrative boards, traveled with his father on Air Force Two during the Obama administration, and even when filled out a form for a firearm background check before obtaining a .38 revolver.
Politico obtained a copy of the Firearms Transaction Record and a receipt for the gun in question, dated Oct. 12, 2018. Biden was asked, “Are you an unlawful user of, or addicted to, marijuana or any depressant, stimulant, narcotic drug, or any other controlled substance?” He answered “no” despite his admitted history of drug use.
“Lying on the form is a felony, though prosecutions for it are exceedingly rare,” Politico noted.
Hunter Biden called his laptop a “red herring,” and suggested that since former President Trump’s lawyer Rudy Giuliani was involved with effort to publicize its scandalous contents before the election, everything that comes out about it should be dismissed.
“Now look, I really don’t know and the fact of the matter is, it’s a red herring. It is absolutely a red herring. But I am absolutely, I think, within my rights to question anything that comes from the desk of Rudy Giuliani,” he said.
On the question of whether or not the laptop was his, the younger Biden struck an uncertain pose.
“I don’t know’ is the answer,” he told Kimmel.
In a recent interview however, Biden said that the laptop “could” be his, but said he couldn’t remember if he dropped it off at the shop, admitting to being highly intoxicated during much of that period and even snorted grated cheese at one point.
He has also offered alternative theories as to how the laptop—which may or may not be his— may have come into the public eye.
“Not that I remember at all,” he has said. “Certainly, there could be a laptop out there that was stolen from me, that could be that I was hacked, it could be that it was Russian intelligence, it could be that it was stolen from me.”
Indeed, no less than fifty corrupt former Clinton and Obama intelligence officials, including John Brennan, Leon Panetta, Michael Hayden, and James Clapper, banded together to protect the Bidens by claiming in a statement that the scandal could be Russian disinformation.
“Our view that the Russians are involved in the Hunter Biden email issue is consistent with two other significant data points as well. According to the Washington Post, “U.S. intelligence agencies warned the White House last year that Giuliani was the target of an influence operation,” they wrote. “It is high time that Russia stops interfering in our democracy.”
The New York Post was the first to publish the contents of Biden’s laptop, but the blockbuster story was censored by Twitter and Facebook, and embargoed by most of the corporate media, in part due to the concerns of partisan intelligence hacks.
Both Twitter and Facebook took extraordinary censorship measures against The Post in October, 2020, over its exposés about Hunter Biden’s emails — with Twitter baselessly charging that “hacked materials” were used.
Twitter kept The Post’s primary account locked for two weeks leading up to the election, after The Post refused Twitter’s demand that it delete six tweets that linked to stories that the company claimed — without any evidence — were based on hacked information.
The Post never budged, and kept the tweets on the account during the standoff — even as Twitter obscured them from view.
In a series of tweets, the social-media giant said it was revising its “Hacked Materials Policy” and “updating our practice of not retroactively overturning prior enforcement.
In his book, the younger Biden made no apologies for benefiting financially off of his father’s name.
“Did I make a mistake by taking a seat on the board of a Ukrainian gas company? No. Did I display a lack of judgment? No. Would I do it again? No.”
During his interview with Kimmel, he argued that he was well qualified to earn a spot with the firm.
“I went to Yale Law School. I served on at least a dozen boards before Burisma,” he said. “I was vice chairman of the board of Amtrak. I was chairman of the board at World Food Program U.S., supporting the largest humanitarian organization in the world. I had an expertise in corporate governance. I was asked to serve on the board for corporate governance.”
He said that the only reason he wouldn’t do the same thing again is because of the “perception” of corruption could be used against his father.
“However, what I didn’t take into account was the way in which they would use the perception against my dad. And for that, I wouldn’t do it again, for that reason,” he said.
