Gideon Falter, the head of the Campaign Against Antisemitism, was standing on a London street watching a pro-Hamas mob pass. A Metropolitan Police approached him and warned him not to move. “At the moment sir, you are quite openly Jewish. This is a pro-Palestinian march. I’m not accusing you of anything, but I am worried about the reaction to your presence.”
Then the officer threatened to arrest the “openly Jewish” man if he did not leave.
Met Police Commissioner Mark Rowley defended the officer’s targeting of a Jewish man and described the “actions and intent of the officer” as being “in the best tradition of British police trying to prevent disorder.” The UK government expressed “confidence” in Rowley.
In Montreal, Rabbi Adam Scheier, the head of the largest Conservative Jewish congregation in the city, was shopping with his family when a pro-terrorist mob chanting slogans against Canada and Israel marched up the street “flanked by police protection”.
“The police approached me and asked me and my family to leave the area,” Rabbi Scheier describes. “I asked why we were given this directive, as we had not exchanged even one word with a protester. The only thing I am guilty of is shopping in downtown Montreal… while wearing a kippah.”
“The policeman explained to me that he was fearful of a ‘fire starting between the two sides.’ Apparently, my presence is deemed a sufficient provocation for removal, while their hateful chants are allowed to continue.”
In Toronto, Ezra Levant, a journalist and the founder of Rebel News, was arrested while filming a Hamas rally in the middle of a Jewish neighborhood in Toronto which promoted Yahya Sinwar, the dead leader of Hamas and displayed red triangles: a symbol for the call to murder Jews.
Police accused the Jewish journalist of breaching the peace and arrested him “in the interest of public safety” while claiming that his presence was “inciting the crowd”.
Threatening Jews in a Jewish neighborhood did not breach the peace or incite violence, but Jewish people filming the crimes of Muslim terrorist supporters threatening them with violence did.
Similarly at UCLA and at the Muslim riot outside the Adas Torah congregation in Los Angeles, only Jewish people were arrested for standing up to the terrorist supporters attacking them. After Oct 7, a Jewish man waving an Israeli flag was arrested outside the Sydney Opera House, which was showing blue and white colors in mourning for the victims, for a “breach of the peace” after a Muslim mob showed up at the memorial to call for the murder of Jews.
In London, Montreal, Toronto, Sydney, Los Angeles and other occupied cities, being “openly Jewish” is now considered an offense that will provoke the Muslim mobs. The old no-go zones in Muslim neighborhoods have now become roving no-go zones that go wherever the mobs do.
When Muslim mobs invade Jewish neighborhoods, those communities become no-go zones. And “openly Jewish” people in their own neighborhoods can become subject to arrest for offending the Muslim mobs that are calling for their deaths outside their own homes.
Mayors and other elected officials have spent twenty years denying the existence of no-go zones only to formally use the police to enforce them. The expansion of the no-go zones to cover any part of London, Toronto, Montreal and other cities that the Muslim occupiers wish to seize at any moment is effectively turning the territories of these entire cities into no-go zones.
A Muslim minority has spent the year since Oct 7 demonstrating that its mobs are capable of taking over any part of New York, Boston, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Chicago, London, Paris, Toronto and Sydney at will. And that the authorities will stand with them and act for them.
Jews are the canaries in the coal mine. As a minority group they are the easiest targets. And the mass propaganda carried on in the media against Israel and for Islamic terrorism has made it easier to justify attacks on Jewish community members, synagogues and any random Jews.
The ‘heckler’s veto’ of Islamic intimidation allows the police in occupied cities to arrest Jews for being “openly Jewish” around Muslims, and then to arrest Jews for provocatively existing.
Before Rabbi Scheier of Montreal was being threatened with arrest for being visibly Jewish and filming a Muslim terror mob, he had spoken out when “a mob of 40 or so masked individuals attempted to block access to a synagogue and harassed members of the Jewish community.” Even though there was an injunction ordering the mob to “maintain a distance of 50 metres from houses of worship, the police allowed the harassment to continue, uninterrupted, for over three hours” and Jews were told that “the police could not guarantee their safety.”
The Muslim mobs have begun their assault by targeting Jews, but they will not end there.
Muslim terror plots have targeted churches. A Muslim illegal alien terrorist who opened fire on a Jewish man walking to synagogue on the Sabbath in Chicago also plotted to kill Christians.
What Muslim occupiers are now doing to Jews in major cities is exactly what they do to Christians in Egypt, Nigeria and Pakistan, anywhere they have sufficient numbers. For the moment the Muslim settlers in America, Canada, Australia and Europe have enough demographic power to terrorize Jews. In a generation, the Christians will be the new Jews.
And if this goes on, our cities will not only be hunting grounds for Jews, but for Christians.
Right now the authorities in London, Toronto, Montreal and Sydney have made it clear that there is no room for “openly Jewish” people in their cities, but openly Christian preachers have already been targeted and threatened with arrest. Western cities should be free places for Christians and Jews, and there should be no room in them for the Islamic advocates of Jihad.
