Dear Sanctimonious, self-serving, self-righteous, pompous Liberals and Democrats

Yes, this one is for you. You who say you care for the poor and sick, the widow and orphan; the lower middle class and the working class and the downright poor. You care so much you want to give everyone free health care and free drugs and education, wipe out student loans, increase the minimum wage, open your borders to all “refugees” and get rid of racism.
You care alright, until their needs interfere with yours. You are the righteous calling for lockdowns. So what if people are losing their businesses, their livelihoods, their future? I mean the government labeled them non-essential. So what if people are taking their lives and dying from opioid overdose or alcoholism? I wrote about these concerns in April 2020.
So what you closed the Houses of Worship – you never went anyway. And it’s in those Houses of Worship that people find solace and aid, and AA meetings, and shelter and food. But, hey, why should you care? I mean these are the people Obama referred to as those who hold on to their guns and Bibles. The people who believe in protecting and defending the Judeo/Christian ethic that underpins their freedoms. You know, those Conservatives, who actually do care about the poor.
As long as you pompous liberals can go to Walmart and Costco, can afford anything you want that is available on Amazon, or cub-side pickup, or to your door delivery and don’t need to worry about paying rent or getting food on the table, or educating your children-because you are at home, have IT knowledge and can always pay for a private school or a tutor – that’s all that matters.
And whatever you do, do not let people walk in a park. We have signs in our parks that say do not enter if you do not live in the neighbourhood. I am not talking about some football sized park – I am talking about a provincial park. I mean Liberals know you can get Covid from people walking on your street or having a picnic outside; in a park! And do not let your dog come near their dog – the dogs might spread Covid! I kid you not. And they know that you can catch Covid playing hockey, or snow skiing or tobogganing. They know you cannot catch Covid protesting for BLM but heaven help you if you protest against lockdowns!
This is precious. From the Premier of Ontario who got elected as a man for the people and is a Conservative. Keep in mind, all the politicians and their staff and their medical experts are getting full pay: our PM, who comes out of his basement every once in a while to say nothing, and I believe Joe Biden, are also still accepting their full pay.
“Ontario Premier Doug Ford called anti-lockdown protesters at Queen’s Park…”a bunch of yahoos” and said they were being “selfish” and “irresponsible” for demonstrating against provincial emergency orders in place to slow the spread of COVID-19.”
Right. Because the lockdowns work. That’s why we have them over and over and over again.
Talking about lockdowns. Well, we need to lockdown for months at a time, don’t you know, to protect everyone. Please, you can’t lockdown seniors’ homes, safely, but you think shutting down an entire economy, locking children up in their homes, taking people away in handcuffs for not wearing a mask, or pulling people out of homes because they have more than 5 inside are great ideas.
I watched as these same concerned liberals had no problem renovating their homes during the lockdowns.
And my most favourite action by these sanctimonious, self-serving, self-righteous, pompous Liberals and Democrats? Snitching! Nothin’ says lovin’ like a good old-fashioned snitch. But suggest to them they are acting like the citizens under Hitler or Mao-absolutely not! This is different! Then again, many of these people support cancel culture so they probably have no idea of the history of Fascism.
These people have no problem taking away your basic rights in the name of safety. I mean, they are doing it for you! Well, maybe not all of you. I mean, really, are all deaths equal?
Dr. Jane Philpott, dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences and director of Queen’s University’s School of Medicine shared her concerns about death rates. This is from December 2020.
Since the early days of the pandemic, the question of the true toll of the pandemic has been an issue for countries around the world. How many people died because an undiagnosed case of COVID-19 triggered an underlying health issue that ultimately resulted in death? How many died at home because they were too scared to go to the hospital or didn’t think their problem was serious? How many suicides were caused by loneliness and isolation during the pandemic? How many died from opioid and other drug overdoses? And what were the consequences when surgeries and other care were delayed or neglected as a result of the massive shift in focus toward responding to the pandemic?
“There have been different reports, some suggesting that in fact people dying of other causes that are an indirect result of the pandemic are maybe significantly higher than previously (thought),” Philpott added, pointing to the number of overdoses, for example, in British Columbia and Alberta.
In Canada, government data showed that 1,628 people died of apparent opioid overdoses between April and June this year, “representing the highest quarterly count since national surveillance began in 2016,” according to the Public Health Agency of Canada’s website. The figure also represented a 58 per cent increase quarter over quarter, and a 54 per cent increase for the same period year over year.
From a CDC report December 2020:
Over 81,000 drug overdose deaths occurred in the United States in the 12 months ending in May 2020, the highest number of overdose deaths ever recorded in a 12-month period, according to recent provisional data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). “The disruption to daily life due to the COVID-19 pandemic has hit those with substance use disorder hard,” said CDC Director Robert Redfield, M.D. “As we continue the fight to end this pandemic, it’s important to not lose sight of different groups being affected in other ways. We need to take care of people suffering from unintended consequences.”
I guess out of sight out of mind is taking place here because as often as we see the heartache of those who lost family members, often over 85, from Covid 19, when was the last time you heard from families whose children died from drug overdoses or suicide BECAUSE of the lockdowns?
These SOCIAL JUSTICE WARRIORS, safe at home, come across as heroes for protecting the safety of all, by snitching and pushing for lockdowns and quarantines and keeping schools closed. They care, don’t you know. Of course they do not suffer economically from Covid, and their children are fine at school.
It is so easy to be a social justice warrior when none of your “tribe” will be harmed.
