Our Intel Agencies Celebrate Pride by Prioritizing Nail Painting Over National Security We are officially a fundamentally unserious nation. by Mark Tapson
Under the Biden administration, America has taken many wrong turns, but what may prove to be one of the most consequential is quite simply the fact that we are becoming a fundamentally unserious nation, one that is throwing away its self-respect, its dignity, its gravitas, if you will, in the name of embracing the emasculating gender ideology that has become the tip of the spear of the cultural Marxist subversion of America.
To demonstrate this tragic state of affairs, let me share with you something at the Daily Wire which caught my eye, an exclusive there regarding how President Biden’s intelligence community is celebrating the so-called “Pride Month” of June with, among other activities, free trans flag manicures for agents who would otherwise be occupied with our national security.
The Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) is an agency which oversees the rest of the intel community, including the CIA, FBI, NSA, and intelligence departments in each branch of the military. It is celebrating Pride Month – an entire month devoted to the mandatory celebration of transgressive sexual proclivities – by inviting intelligence agents to have the transgender flag painted on their nails, participate in a “Pride Ally Challenge,” and learn all about non-binary identity from a “Filipinx” activist. (The “x,” for those are blessedly ignorant of such things, is a non-binary suffix that gender activists are desperately trying – and failing – to normalize.)
The Daily Wire came into possession of a document which outlines nine different Pride Month activities which occurred on June 4th during work hours. So at a time when intel officers should have been focused on thwarting terror plots or investigating violent political movements like Antifa, they had the opportunity to have their nails painted with trans flags, or even to learn how to crochet their very own pride flags!
The document reads,
For nail painting, we’ll have our pro team of FVEY artistes ready to decorate you ready for Pride Month, with the option of celebrating pride or trans flag colors. If you don’t normally paint your nails, or have never done so, all the better! We’ll do everything for you, and you might just love it. What better way to show your allyship to the community?
Cringeworthy, to say the least. FVEY, by the way, is an awkward acronym which refers to the Five Eyes Intelligence Alliance of the UK, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. This reference suggests that intelligence agents from those countries may have been invited to the nail painting event as well.
This does not bode well for western civilization. It’s impossible to imagine similar events and Pride celebrations being carried out within Chinese, Russian, or Iranian intelligence agencies.
The same event also featured crochet lessons from “FVEY crocheters,” who taught “how to make Pride flags.” In addition, there was a guest speaker to educate agents on diverse gender identities: AC Dumlao, who is described as a “transgender non-binary first-generation Filipinx-American activist and educator.”
The document explains that “AC is dedicated to providing representation to queer and trans young people of the global majority.” The Daily Wire notes that Dumlao even appeared on a YouTube channel aimed at preschoolers, called “Queer Kids Stuff,” to teach children about non-binary gender identity. Because you can never begin indoctrinating children into your sex cult too early, don’t you know.
There was also a “Pride Month Kick-off Event” earlier in the month that featured members of the Pride Employee Resource Group who shared “personal observations about how inclusivity has grown in the workplace.” A panel discussion on the “transgender community across generations,” scheduled for June 17th, will bring together “members of the transgender, non-binary, and gender expansive community across generations” to discuss “their unique lived experiences.”
But that’s not all! as the infomercial slogan goes. A “Pride Ally Challenge” began on June 3 and took intelligence agents on a “guided journey to learn more about the LGBTQ+ community and empower you to become a better, more well-informed ally” across 20 different daily activities.
ODNI is also hosting a “Walk with Pride” event halfway through the month, inviting intelligence agents to “[c]elebrate Pride and show your support for the LGBTQIA+ community” in the march, according to the document. “Be sure to sport your pride swag!”
Rep. Mike Waltz (R-FL), former Green Beret and a member of the House Select Committee on Intelligence, had this to say to The Daily Wire about the Pride activities:
It just shows where this administration’s priorities continue to be, which is a virtue signal to the progressive Left, rather than staying focused on lethality, effective intelligence collection, and keeping America safe. It’s just a total misplacement of priorities, and it comes from the top, and it comes from highly politicized political appointees, by political appointees that are pushing an agenda.
That’s the polite way to put it. To state it a little more bluntly: such Pride Month activities – indeed, the celebration of Pride Month itself – are an absolutely insane distraction from the deadly serious work of national security. It’s unclear how many people within our intelligence community actually participated in any of these activities, but the officials in charge of promoting or even facilitating this subversive agenda to draw time and resources away from protecting American citizens should be considered saboteurs and fired.
The relentless Alphabet Lobby’s agenda to emasculate and undermine our national security (not to mention our culture) with such frivolous, effeminate, and childish activities as nail painting and crocheting rainbow flags must not be allowed a foot in the door anywhere – not in intelligence agencies, not in the military, not in any governmental branch or office, not in any educational institution, not in any corporation, nowhere but in the private living rooms of people who need professional psychological help.
Anyone in the intelligence community, military, or governmental positions of any sort who feels the need to express their gender fluidity by painting trans flags on their nails, trying on different pronouns, or crocheting a rainbow flag at work, don’t need affirmation or celebration; they need to get out of the way and let grownups step in to do the serious work of combating espionage and terrorism within our borders.
