The clip begins with Kuster reading a written question out loud asking for her opinion about House Resolution 36, which would establish a select committee to investigate and report on the Sept. 11, 2012 terrorist attack in Benghazi.

She begins her answer, incorrectly, by telling the audience that the measure is being crafted in the Senate so she doesn’t want to get into a discussion about it.

“Um, I don’t have – uh, it’s a Senate, I think ahhh,” she stammers. “I don’t think we have anything about that in the House.”

Pressed for an answer, Kuster says the forum should stay focused on the Middle East.

“Well, I’m certainly not here to talk about it,” Kuster answers. “We’re here to talk about the Middle East.”

Then, several people in the audience exclaim, “Benghazi is in the Middle East!”

The back-and-forth is then interrupted by a moderator who explains the session’s ground rules again as the video clip ends. The exchange happened on Nov. 25 at the New Hampshire Jewish Federation in Manchester, N.H., where Kuster was to share her experiences from a summer trip to Israel and answer questions on Israel and the Middle East.

Except all the Jewish stuff. Though Palestinian Arab spokespeople have a history of claiming that Jesus was a Palestinian. (His mother and grandmother presumably were another story.)

So far I’m just seeing an Arafat mural. And that makes sense because the project is probably another glorification bid by Arafat’s unelected band of militias who insist on calling themselves a government even though their president refuses to stand for an actual election.

And because Palestinian history began with Arafat.

As many as 25 Palestinian artists are working on what could be the crowning artistic achievement of their lives – and the Arab world’s largest-ever mural.

But for the artists working on the unfinished project, the 1,000-square-meter mural, dubbed “Huna Canaan” (“Here is Canaan”), isn’t just a painting. Rather, it’s an illustration of more than 3,500 years of Palestinian history.

In a tediously predictable bait and switch, local Arabs are claiming to be Palestinians… and Canaanites. Considering that the latter are long extinct and the former were never a people.

Some Zionists did flirt with a regional Canaanite identity that would unite them and the Arabs together. It was a rather stupid idea considering that neither Jews nor Arabs are Canaanites and that the history of Israel began with a long struggle with the Canaanites, interrupted by Egyptian slavery, that concluded with their eventual expulsion.

Eshtaol Excavations Reveal the Oldest House in the Shephelah

Israel Antiquities Authority (IAA) excavations at Eshtaol recently uncovered the remains of a 10,000-year-old house in the Judean Shephelah, the lowland west of Jerusalem, as well as a later cult site, stone axes and other Neolithic remains. The excavations, which were conducted before a proposed Israeli highway expansion, revealed several stages of the millennia-long narrative of early cultural development at Eshtaol, a site associated with the birth and burial of Samson in the Biblical period (Judges 13:25; 16:31).

In an IAA press statement, archaeologists Amir Golani, Ya‘akov Vardi, Benyamin Storchan and Ron Be’eri describe the significance of the 10,000-year-old domestic building (pictured to the right), which dates to the transitional Pre-Pottery Neolithic period. “It should be emphasized that whoever built the house did something that was totally innovative because up until this period man migrated from place to place in search of food. Here we have evidence of man’s transition to permanent dwellings and that in fact is the beginning of the domestication of animals and plants; instead of searching out wild sheep, ancient man started raising them near the house.”
