Trump Proposes ‘Landmark Election Reform’ and Overhaul of Election Security Systems By Allen Zhong

https://www.theepochtimes.com/trump-proposes-landmark-election-reform-and-overhaul-of-election-security-systems_3606426.html

President Donald Trump said he plans to pass landmark election reforms along with a comprehensive overhaul of election security systems in the United States after the upcoming Georgia runoff race.

“After we win [the U.S. Senate], we need to pass landmark election reform including voter ID, residency verification, … citizenship confirmation,” he said. “They want to say, ‘He doesn’t have to be a citizen.’ You’ve got to see who’s voting.”

“It’s a disgrace that in 2020, no state in America even makes any real attempt to verify that those who cast ballots by mail are eligible and lawfully registered voters. The evidence of fraud is overwhelming,” he added.

In the November general election, widespread incidents of irregularities and alleged fraud have been reported, including where votes were cast in the name of dead people, across state lines, ballots backdated, and “glitches” caused by human error that switched Trump votes to Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden.

Meanwhile, rejection rates for mail-in ballots have been uncharacteristically low despite the record-breaking number of the mail-in ballots sent out by state officials citing the COVID-19 pandemic.

Etsy Bans MAGA Knitter Hats for ‘Harmful Misinformation’ By Catherine Smith

Many of the Antifa-themed listings are still available as of this article’s publication, Breitbart reported.

E-commerce platform Etsy that sells handmade, vintage items and craft supplies, says it is stamping out “harmful misinformation… from knitters making MAGA-themed beanies, according to Breitbart.

“Conservative author and activist Michelle Malkin reported that Etsy user “Deplorable Knitter” had her beanie hats bearing the “Stop the Steal” slogan, a Republican rallying cry against voter fraud, banned from the platform,” Breitbart reports.

“Trump Derangement Syndrome strikes crafters AGAIN. My friend Deplorable Knitter told me her #StopTheSteal hats have been banned on Etsy,” said Malkin in a tweet.

The hats are still available for purchase via Deplorable Knitter’s Instagram page.

Malkin, a self confirmed crocheter, wrote, “Here’s the email notification from Etsy: ‘Certain types of content are not appropriate for the Etsy marketplace. This includes content that promotes or endorses harmful misinformation, including items that can obstruct election integrity.’”

President Trump Persevered Trump’s policies and results over the past four years have been truly great. By Alex Zemek

https://amgreatness.com/2020/12/05/president-trump-persevered/

Eleven days before Christmas, on December 14, the Electoral College is set to meet to determine whether Joe Biden or Donald Trump has the requisite 270 electoral votes to be declared the winner of the 2020 presidential election. Against steep odds, I pray, along with some 74 million others, that a constitutional path still exists for Trump’s victory.  Regardless of the outcome, however, the accomplishments that have been achieved during Trump’s first term are noteworthy and worthy of reflection.

Even though the Left and the Washington swamp never gave him a fair shake, fabricated stories against him, and sought to use the U.S. intelligence apparatus to entrap him, President Trump persevered.

While the biased media will never acknowledge it, Trump’s decisive action to address the threat of the coronavirus saved many lives. Five weeks before the World Health Organization declared a pandemic, Trump had already imposed the travel restriction on China to slow the spread and buy critical time for researchers to learn more about this novel virus. The Obama-Biden Administration had left the strategic reserve of medical equipment bare, but Trump used his authority and connections with companies such as MyPillow and GE to have them retool factory machines to manufacture masks and ventilators.

On average, it takes a decade to manufacture a vaccine for a virus. Trump’s “Warp Speed” initiative unleashed the power of American ingenuity and a vaccine was approved and ready for initial public distribution in about 10 months. It was not socialized medicine in France or Norway that produced the vaccine, but the systems of the United States.

We can already guess what slanders the liberal academics will write about Trump in the history books, but three things for which he should be praised, in addition to decimating ISIS, historic Middle East peace deals, and spurring tremendous economic growth, are: confronting Communist China, standing for the sanctity of life, and being unapologetically pro-American.

The Burden of Proof by Roger Kimball

https://amgreatness.com/2020/12/05/the-burden-of-proof/

The faith in fairness has been shattered beyond recovery, and the assumption of anything like a shared consensus seems more and more like a naïve pretense when it isn’t just a cynical hustings gambit.

Many people, including some good friends, believe that Joe Biden won the 2020 presidential election fair and square.

Many others—and I place myself among them—believe that something is rotten in the state of Denmark, or, to be more specific, in the cities of Milwaukee, Atlanta, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, and Detroit, not to mention Maricopa County, Arizona. I think what happened was so rotten that I regard the election as illegitimate.

What proof, you might ask, do I have?

Quite a lot, in fact, and I’ll get to some of it in a moment. First, I want you to behold the evolution of the Narrative about voter fraud in the 2020 election. At first, the memo came down and said, “There was no voter fraud.”

On November 12, for example, the Cyber and Infrastructure Security Agency issued a “Joint Statement From Elections Infrastructure Government Coordinating Council & The Election Infrastructure Sector Coordinating Executive Committees” that “The November 3rd election was the most secure in American history.” That’s from an official U.S. government entity—so game over, right?

Not quite. The CIA and the FBI are also official government entities. Do you trust them?

Anyway, stray ballots started turning up, analysis revealed massive statistical anomalies in voter turnout, the size and timing of votes for Joe Biden, and other irregularities. There were troubling videos of Democratic vote counters pulling out hidden suitcases of ballots after they kicked the GOP observers out of the room, for example. Another seemed to show one Democratic worker surreptitiously hand a thumb drive to another minutes before a massive influx of votes appeared for Joe Biden. There have been scores of affidavits attesting to voter fraud and scarifying testimony from witnesses who reminded their questioners that they made their statements under penalty of perjury.

Weakling Squish Romney Pimps the Democrats’ COVID-19 Lies By Stephen Kruiser

Mittens McMullin Ocasio-Romney-Cortez is at it again. This Trump-hating blight on the Republican party is back for another one of his “Aren’t I just the prettiest girl in the room?” eye-batting attention grabs in front of the mainstream media.

CNN:

Washington (CNN)Republican Sen. Mitt Romney on Thursday blasted President Donald Trump’s leadership — or lack thereof — during the deadly coronavirus pandemic as “a great human tragedy.”

“Well, this hasn’t been the focus of his rhetoric, apparently, and I think it’s a great human tragedy, without question,” Romney told CNN’s Wolf Blitzer on “The Situation Room” when asked where Trump’s leadership is as the President focuses on other issues amid the worsening pandemic.

“The extraordinary loss of life is heartbreaking — and in some respects unnecessary. Not all respects, but we’ve relaxed our standards as individuals,” added Romney, who represents Utah. “Some states haven’t had mask mandates, and from Washington we have not had a constant, consistent plan and plea for people to wear masks, to social-distance, to take all the measures that would reduce the spread of this disease.”

Since this was a CNN appearance Romney’s horrible hot take here pretty much translates to: “Won’t you please, PLEASE like me?” What’s most pathetic about it is that this could have been scripted by the Democratic National Committee. Had Willard said this before November 3rd it would have been an in-kind contribution to the Biden campaign.

The Supreme Court and the Electoral Coup Scott S. Powell

http://www.americanthinker.com/articles/2020/12/the_supreme_court_and_the_electoral_coup.html

It’s out in the open for everyone with eyes and ears, not only here in the United States but around the world.  The November U.S. Presidential election produced a fraudulent result — appearing to deliver a defeat for extraordinarily popular and remarkably successful incumbent President Donald Trump and a victory for extraordinarily unimpressive Democrat challenger Joe Biden.

Trump drew crowds of 35-40,000 and more at every rally. Biden couldn’t attract more than a few dozen at his public meetings — none of which could be called rallies. Biden’s handlers decided on a basement strategy early on, recognizing that a discharged and failing battery was no match for the orange energizer bunny.  Additionally, why take the risk of gaffes in public appearances when you know that the fix is in with upcoming multilevel vote fraud.  First, a refresher and some background.

Donald Trump was elected President in 2016 as an outsider, the candidate whose “Make America Great Again” platform included draining the Swamp and taking on corruption in Washington.

Prior presidents had generally accommodated Washington corruption, and it naturally grew over time.  A major contributing factor that compelled Trump to run was that under the Obama administration corruption became egregious. First Amendment rights were violated in new ways with surveillance conducted on select media reporters who criticized Obama, and with muzzling of some 160 patriotic conservative groups by Lois Lerner in her position as director of the Exempt Organizations Unit of the Internal Revenue Service.

Pennsylvania – Don’t Assume Alito Giving Until 12/9 To Respond To Emergency Application Means He’s Letting It Die On the Vine William A. Jacobson

https://legalinsurrection.com/2020/12/pennsylvania-dont-assume-alito-giving-until-12-9-to-respond-to-emergency-application-means-hes-letting-it-die-on-the-vine/

More likely, Alito’s action means he and some other Justices take the matter seriously, and plan to rule on the merits once the opposition is submitted.

On December 1, 2020, we covered an emergency application for injunctive relief sought to halt any further actions by Pennsylvania to certify the election, Pennsylvania: Emergency Injunction Sought From SCOTUS To Halt Any Further Certification Actions.

See that post for background on the case, and my admittedly pessimistic assessment.

Another Emergency Application, substantially similar, was filed yesterday, December 3. That made no sense to me, why would they file twice?

I spoke to an attorney handling the case, and the explanation is that the first filing took place prior to a stay being sought from the Pennsylvania Supreme Court, which issued the decision at issue. Out of concern that the US Supreme Court might deny the stay on the procedural ground that a request had not been made to the state court, the attorneys waited for the PA Supreme Court predictably to deny the stay, and then refiled on December 3.

According to the Supreme Court docket, Justice Alito, who covers the Third Circuit, gave Pennsylvania and the other Respondents until next Wednesday to file responses.

The War on the Electoral College Has Only Just Begun How a Democrat-driven vote ‘compact,’ a key court ruling, and the Georgia Senate races could converge to decide its fate. By Andrew C. McCarthy

How a Democrat-driven vote ‘compact,’ a key court ruling, and the Georgia Senate races could converge to decide its fate.

T he people of the states of Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, Georgia, and elsewhere have spoken. By majority vote, they have chosen Joe Biden over Donald Trump. Isn’t it outrageous to suggest that the vote of the people of those states should be cast for someone other than the candidate preferred by the millions of voters in these states?

Well, yes, it is. And like a number of commentators, I’ve said so time and again (see, e.g., here), even though this means Biden, the candidate I oppose, will be sworn in as the 46th president of these United States at high noon on January 20, 2021. That is how our system works. The candidates run their campaigns, we vigorously debate their merits, then we vote. The underlying assumption is that whichever side loses resolves to do better next time, but in the meantime — in the absence of some compelling demonstration of material fraud — we collectively honor the result.

You want to condemn President Trump for cavalierly undermining those assumptions, and the stability and tranquility they promote? You’ll get no argument from me. But let’s not pretend that Trump is the first to promote the radical, politicized notion that the candidate who wins a state’s election should not get that state’s electoral votes.

Progressives beat him to it, long ago.

As we discussed back in July, a growing group of states dominated by left-wing Democrats has for years been cobbling together the so-called National Popular Vote Interstate Compact (NPVIC). The compact’s member states agree that they will award their state’s electoral votes not to the candidate who won the state’s popular election but to whichever candidate won the popular vote nationwide. The point, in other words, is to do away not only with the state’s popular election, but also with the Electoral College and our Constitution’s 233-year-old election process.

Recounts Needed to Settle Dominion’s Role, and the Election Roger Kimball

https://www.theepochtimes.com/recounts-needed-to-settle-dominions-role-and-the-election_3589395.html

He said, she said. …. turns out that your opinion about Dominion Voting Systems depends not only on who you are but when you’re asked.

If you zip way back to December 2019, then, if you are Democratic Sens. Elizabeth Warren, Ron Wyden, or Amy Klobuchar, you are very worried about their security.

Back then, these high-minded public servants wrote letters warning that these widely used voting systems were “prone to security problems.” “We are particularly concerned,” they wrote, that “voting machines and other election administration equipment, ‘have long skimped on security in favor of convenience.’”

That was in December of last year—the good old days when NBC, for example, warned about “Chinese parts” and “hidden ownership” of the machines.

“Chinese manufacturers,” they noted, “can be forced to cooperate with requests from Chinese intelligence officials to share any information about the technology and therefore pose a risk for U.S. companies,” not to mention “the concern of machines shipped with undetected vulnerabilities or backdoors that could allow tampering.”

As I say, that was a year ago.

Today, post-Nov. 3, 2020, you don’t hear the Democrats worrying out loud about the security of the machines that counted (not to say manufactured) the votes that led to Joe Biden’s apparent victory.

Election Fraud Is Treason: Retired US General By Kevin Hogan

https://www.theepochtimes.com/election-fraud-is-treason-retired-us-general_3605272.html

Former Lieutenant General Thomas McInerney has come out on the record alleging that treason against the nation is taking place amid the presidential election. He says the attempt to steal the election from President Donald Trump is the largest cyber-warfare activity in the world. McInerney says there are two groups involved: the foreign states of China, Russia, and Iran; and select U.S. citizens.

“This is six to 10 states bonding together to manipulate their data to take control of the U.S. government and the Chief Executive Officer, the commander in chief. So this is not anything to be taken lightly,” the retired three-star U.S. Air Force lieutenant general said.

“It’s not dirty politics, or tricks. It is treason, by the very nature against the United States government and the people of America.”

TV news stations reported the counting stopped in 5 swing states the morning after the election, according to an affidavit (pdf) from Navid Keshavarz-Nia, a cybersecurity expert. He called the situation highly unusual and said it may indicate prior coordination. He also said that they may have not stopped counting, and may have continued to count the ballots behind closed doors to get the results they wanted in secret.

General McInerney outlines a five-fold plan for tackling what he calls a national emergency.

“Initiate the insurrection act. Declare martial law. Suspend habeas corpus and set up military tribunals. Those are the things that must be done in this emergency. It is a national emergency of whether we’re going to continue forward as a democratic republic, or go into a totalitarian society,” he said.
