It is commonsense that after a major flood disaster recovery begins with cleaning up the mess.  Because of the policies of the Biden administration America has been flooded with unprecedented numbers of illegal aliens- yet no attention is being given to the need or the means to clean up the mess created by this human tsunami that undermines national security, public safety and public health.

The crisis on the southern border has grown so huge that it can no longer be ignored by the mainstream media.  Records continue to be set and then broken as ever more aliens from countries around the world head for that dangerous border encouraged by the policies of the Biden Administration as carried out by the Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas.

However, Biden’s destruction of immigration law enforcement is hardly limited to the dangerous Mexican border, however neither the media nor politicians will even mention these other elements of the immigration system that are part and parcel of Biden’s “immigration iceberg.” by the media or by our political leaders from either party perhaps because they are among the Profiteers of Biden Administration’s Open Borders Policy or reaccepting massive campaign contribution (bribes?) from those profiteers.

So, while the media and the politicians, including most Republicans, remain focused on the 2,000 mile disastrous U.S./Mexican border, they blithely ignore 98% of America’s borders as well as the need for meaningful interior enforcement of our immigration laws.

Migrant border crossings are on pace for a record-breaking September, preliminary Department of Homeland Security data obtained by the Washington Free Beacon show.

Customs and Border Protection recorded an average of 7,300-7,500 daily migrant encounters at the southwest border by the end of September.

Those averages come out to between 219,000 to 225,000 for the month. Any sum within that range constitutes the worst September for migrant border crossings in U.S. history, a review of public CBP data finds. September 2021 saw 192,000 border crossings, which held the previous record for the worst September in history.

The data come as red-state governors grow increasingly frustrated with President Joe Biden’s response to the border crisis. Govs. Ron DeSantis (R., Fla.) and Greg Abbott (R., Texas) began sending migrants to predominantly Democratic-voting cities and towns, such as Martha’s Vineyard and Chicago, in recent months in an attempt to bring attention to the White House’s lack of progress in controlling illegal immigration.

“These record-breaking numbers we’re seeing at the border have become the new normal,” a senior DHS official told the Free Beacon. “The question is how much worse will it get?”

CBP did not respond to a request for comment.

The record increase in illegal-alien encounters at the southern border due to Biden administration misfeasance, malfeasance, and nonfeasance portends significant and persistent increases in crime.

In fiscal year 2020, the Border Patrol recorded 458,088 encounters with illegal immigrants at the southern border. That figure has spiked to approximately 2 million in fiscal year 2021.

In 2020, 2,438 of the illegal immigrants encountered at the southern border already had criminal records at the time of entry. In 2021, 10,763 illegal immigrants encountered had criminal records.

It’s troubling enough that lax border policy permits thousands of convicts (and scores of suspected terrorists) to enter the country illegally. The evidence shows, however, that tens of thousands more illegal immigrants will commit crimes while in the United States (not counting the hundreds of thousands of  crimes related to facilitating illegal immigration such as crimes related  to identity theft, obtaining false driver’s licenses, improperly accessing public benefits, using fraudulent green cards, etc.).

More migrants have died attempting to cross the U.S.-Mexico border illegally under President Joe Biden than ever before — a catastrophic consequence of border policies that have pushed many through dangerous terrain as ports of entry have largely been closed for asylum-seekers .

Senior federal law enforcement officials at Border Patrol headquarters in Washington told the Washington Examiner they expect to surpass 800 bodies recovered at the southern border by the end of September, the conclusion of the government’s fiscal 2022 year.

“It’ll likely hit over 800 for FY22. I thought I would never see that number,” one official not authorized to speak with the media wrote in an email. “This administration does not care about dead Hispanics.”

Internal homeland security data obtained by the Washington Examiner show the government is aware of 746 deceased immigrants found in Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, and California between last October and Sept. 6. Landowners and federal, state, and local police are typically the ones who make the discoveries.

“It is “bizarre” that in New Mexico “you can be here illegally, subject to arrest and deportation, and yet at the same time, you could be representing as a lawyer another illegal alien who’s facing the same thing.”

New Mexico has become the latest state to welcome illegal aliens as attorneys.

In other words, those who are breaking U.S. law by their presence in the country, will now be allowed to practice law in the Land of Enchantment. These illegal-alien lawyers will now be allowed to try to prevent their fellow illegal aliens from being deported.

A lawyer is an officer of the court and should at a minimum not be a lawbreaker.

The new policy helps to blur the line between illegal aliens, lawfully present aliens, and U.S. citizens, which has long be a goal of the open-borders Left. The Left wants to devalue and abolish citizenship and what it means to be American, and confer all the benefits of being legal on people who are illegal – and it is succeeding.

The Left deliberately obscures the distinction between illegal aliens and people who immigrated lawfully to the United States. It is part of the leftist war not only on American values but on the English language.

Martha’s Vineyard can endure a few minutes of embarrassment. Those dying in box trucks outside San Antonio don’t have the same luxury.

When 51 migrants died in an overheated box truck that was abandoned on Quintana Road, outside San Antonio, in late June, that got some serious news coverage. The Pope tweeted about it. It made section A, page 1 of the New York Times, though it was still below the fold, beneath stories on the failure of U.S. sanctions to stop the war in Ukraine, the legal cases resulting from the Dobbs decision that overturned Roe v. Wade, and another Supreme Court decision that allowed high-school football coaches to pray on school land.

By the next day, however, the January 6 hearings took up the Times’ entire front-page headline, and more stories about how women are suffering after Dobbs got second billing. The 51 dead migrants in a truck merited one sentence at the very bottom of the page — turn to A13, where you can also find stories on Serena Williams and a Bret Stephens opinion piece. Ho-hum.

All in all, the San Antonio tragedy got roughly equal news coverage with the 50 migrants flown by Republican governors to Martha’s Vineyard last week: The latter got one above-the-fold Times story on Friday, with many follow-ups in the days since. But unlike the San Antonio case, the Martha’s Vineyard kerfuffle has also aroused the Times opinion page, which is filling up with takes on the Republican governors’ “stunt.” Republicans are mean, they say, and their ploy failed, because the people of Martha’s Vineyard rallied by giving canned goods to the migrants — before the National Guard swiftly exfiltrated every single migrant off the island and onto a base.

Frankly, I think the stunt rather proved the point. When migrants arrive at Martha’s Vineyard, the rich liberals there can be crowned humanitarians for not deliberately starving them to death in the few minutes before the military whisks them away. Yet the very complaint that the Biden administration’s negligent border enforcement, inviting rhetoric, and contradictory executive orders are enticing thousands of people to live under a highway overpass in the Texas heat is considered racist. Violent encampments are for red states; blue states have the military to take care of their problems.

Many of the migrants interviewed by television reporters thanked Florida governor Ron DeSantis for sending them to Martha’s Vineyard. And why not? It’s far more comfortable than the camp sites near San Antonio or Del Rio. It has been alleged that DeSantis or his underlings may have fundamentally misled some of the migrants into boarding the flight. If that’s true, they need to be called onto the carpet for it; we shouldn’t use desperate people as political pawns.

Self-proclaimed “sanctuary city” Martha’s Vineyard, one of the richest and whitest communities in the country, has turned out to be not much of a sanctuary for the illegal aliens they claim to care so much about. Recently, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis sent 50 Venezuelan illegal aliens to the tony enclave, reasoning that if its citizens are serious about their compassion for migrants and their love of diversity, they’d jump at the chance to prove it by actually spending some money on them.

Instead, the town-fathers and citizens whined about the strain on their resources and the disorder caused by unvetted illegal aliens swarming their town. Then there’s the hysteria over relocating illegal border-crossers, something Biden’s Feds have been doing for months––an estimated 10,000 just to New York.

Martha’s Vineyard’s complaints are also particularly shameless, claiming a “housing crisis” in a community with thousands of empty rooms. Meanwhile, documentary film maker Ken Burns by implication called De Santis Hitler, and Hillary Clinton directly called him a “human trafficker.” Barack Obama, who frequently lectures “bitter clingers” about their xenophobia towards “people who are not like them,” owns a huge, 29-acre estate in Martha’s Vineyard that could easily accommodate all 50 Venezuelans.

Instead, the mayor called in the National Guard to ship all those “diverse” victims of callous Republicans to a military base on Cape Cod, an act of NIMBY Pharasism. Then the rich denizens of Martha’s Vineyard started a GoFundMe fundraiser to panhandle ordinary Americans for money to handle this “humanitarian crisis” that’s already been resolved simply by kicking the migrants out of town. The proceeds, however, will not go to the expelled migrants, but to “building up a reserve to assist situations like this in the future.”

But like most of the virtue-signaling Left, this playground of the economic elite has exposed itself as full of posers unwilling to actually do anything about their vaunted “principles”––a long tradition among Western leftists. The result is a morally preening political rhetoric that worsens problems like uncontrolled illegal immigration by proscribing obvious common-sense solutions such as upgrading border security, including building a wall; keeping those claiming asylum in Mexico; and Title 42, which allowed for increased expulsions.

Rep. Henry Cuellar said Saturday he disagreed with Vice President Kamala Harris‘s assessment that the southern border is secure, citing his border district’s experience with the influx of migrants into the United States.

The Texas Democrat cited the thousands of people that come across the border per day, as well as more than four million people reported as crossing the border in the past two years.

“The border is not secure, with all due respect to the VP,” Mr. Cuellar told CNN. “We get thousands of people along the border, at least 6 to 8 thousand people a day.”

The congressman added: “You’re talking about almost 4 plus, maybe 4.4. million individuals in two years. Iff you call that secure, I don’t know what secure is.”

Mr. Cuellar, a moderate, narrowly fended off a progressive primary challenger in a June runoff election.

Ms. Harris, who is in charge of overseeing the southern border, asserted that the border was secure in an interview with NBC’s Meet the Press last week.

The vice president also discussed the broken immigration system, which she said was exacerbated by the Trump administration.

“We have a secure border and that is a priority for any nation, including our administration,” Ms. Harris said.

Republicans have attacked the Biden administration over what they say are open border policies that have incentivized illegal immigrants entering the country.

We’ve all been laughing our backsides off at the plight of the poor leftwing millionaires whose exclusive island enclave has been inundated with — the horror! — 50 of the millions of illegal aliens they’ve invited into our country. It was delicious to see tony Martha’s Vineyard caught up in the teeth of a Humanitarian Crisis!

Luckily, the plucky island folk were able to clear their walk-in closets of last season’s duds and bake an organic fair-trade casserole to bring to the church in which the “asylum seekers” had been contained. And pat themselves on the back for their exemplary humane response, naturally. Remember, they are much finer folk than those semi-fascist peasants in the red border states.

Local news outlets gushed over the liberal hospitality that was proudly on display. “After migrants arrived in Martha’s Vineyard, a community gathered to welcome them,” swooned WBUR. “On Martha’s Vineyard, another morning dawns as residents rally to help migrants,” sighed The Boston Globe (before surreptitiously changing the headline).

But that’s pretty much where the Vineyardians’ hospitality ended. Nary a waterfront mansion opened its doors to the poor huddled masses its inhabitants claimed to love and want. No doubt, more than one “No person is illegal” lawn sign was surreptitiously taken inside. Now, news has come that the unsightly brown people will soon be shunted off the hallowed island to a military base in Cape Cod and from there, perhaps Boston.

Rule 4 of Saul Alinsky’s Rules for Radicals is “Make the enemy live up to its own book of rules.” Rule 5 is “Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon.” And Rule 6 is “A good tactic is one your people enjoy.” When Texas governor Greg Abbott finally decided to send to New York and Washington D.C. a small percentage of the illegal aliens pouring into Texas thanks to Biden’s lawless presidency, he was taking a page out of Alinsky’s book, and it was wonderful to see. However, when Ron DeSantis sent volunteer illegal aliens to Martha’s Vineyard, he raised the game to a new level.

Tucker Carlson pointed out in his monologue (see below) that Martha’s Vineyard is one of the richest and most aggressively Democrat regions in America. Its residents, from Barack Obama on down, had no problem with Biden destroying America’s southern border. They also thought it was fine when Biden placed the illegal immigrants who came flooding across the border onto planes and buses, and then, in the dark of night, shipped them out to Republican communities all over America.
