Biden Admin Now Running Biggest Human Trafficking Operation in History By Michael W. Cutler

https://usinc.org/biden-admin-now-running-biggest-human-trafficking-operation-in-history/

Fox News published an infuriating report on January 25 which featured footage of a mass release of single adult migrants into U.S.

Here is an important excerpt:

Several of the migrants told Fox that they had crossed illegally that morning, paying approximately $2,000 per person to cartel smugglers. They also said they were flying to destinations including Miami, Houston and Atlanta.

Single adults are typically being expelled via Trump-era Title 42 public health protections. The Biden administration kept Title 42 in place but is not applying it to unaccompanied children or most migrant families. However, single adults have long been the easiest category of migrant to deport.

In a statement to Fox News, the city of Brownsville said its Office of Emergency Management, through federal assistance from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), works to facilitate “the transfer of these migrants to their final destination by allowing them to use services to contact their families, NGOs, or a taxicab.”

It confirmed that the parking garage serves as a staging area for migrants to be given travel information to “facilitate their transfer to their final destinations.” Migrants can also be given a health screening there, a spokesperson said.

Customs and Border Protection (CBP) said its agency was not involved in the release. An Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) source who viewed the footage said they believed it was an ICE release.

Bodycam Footage Shows Migrants Flown into NY in Dead of Night: ‘Everything Is Supposed to Be Hush-Hush’ By Zachary Evans

https://www.nationalreview.com/news/bodycam-footage-shows-migrants-flown-into-ny-in-dead-of-night-everything-is-supposed-to-be-hush-hush/

Bodycam footage released through a Freedom of Information Act request shows federal contractors dropping off migrants at the Westchester County Airport in White Plains, N.Y., last summer, with one contractor on the scene saying the Biden administration was “betraying the American people.”

New York Republican gubernatorial candidate Rob Astorino obtained the footage, a 51-minute clip from the body camera of Westchester Police Sgt. Michael Hamborsky on August 13, 2021. Astorino discussed the footage on Tucker Carlson Tonight on Fox News on Wednesday.

The Biden administration flew migrants from the southern border to the Westchester airport in the middle of the night from mid-August through October, the New York Post first reported last year.

In the footage, Hamborsky can be heard questioning federal contractors and lamenting the lack of adherence to security procedures at the airport. Some of the contractors were employees of MVM Inc., according to the Post, a firm that signed a contract with the federal government to transport illegal immigrants to locations throughout the country.

AG Garland Ignores Vital Immigration Law Enforcement Crippling national security and public safety. Michael Cutler

Rampant violent crime across the United States, particularly in cities and states run by radical leftist mayors and governors is of great concern to Americans everywhere and is an outgrowth of the insanity of the defund police movement and “criminal justice reform” which has led to violent criminals being released without bail causing carnage at unprecedented levels.

Perhaps in response to this crisis, on January 21, 2022 the Department of Justice issued a press release:  Attorney General Merrick B. Garland Delivers Remarks at the U.S. Conference of Mayors that provided a transcript of his remarks as they were delivered.

It is important that, as you read the transcript, to remember that the Attorney General of the United States is also the chief law enforcement officer of the United States.  Many federal law enforcement agencies operate under the aegis of the Justice Department but even those agencies that operate under the auspices of other agencies such as the Department of Homeland Security, and the Treasury Department still rely on the federal prosecutors of the Justice Department they partner with to further criminal investigations and prosecutions for all crimes comprehended under federal statutes.

Violations of federal criminal laws are prosecuted by federal prosecutors who are assigned to the U.S. Attorney’s offices located across the United States.

Illegal Immigrant Apprehensions Reach 20-Year High in Biden’s First Year By Ryan Mills

U.S. Customs and Border Protection agents apprehended more than 2 million migrants at the southwest border during President Joe Biden’s first year in office, likely the highest number in over 20 years, according to a National Review analysis of CBP data.

According to the data, agents encountered 2,033,863 migrants at the border in 2021, with the vast majority – more than 1.9 million – being apprehended by U.S. Border Patrol officers. The rest were apprehended by Office of Field Operations agents at U.S. ports of entry.

The 2 million apprehensions in 2021 is more than double the 921,812 apprehensions in 2019, during a surge at the border under then-President Donald Trump’s administration. There were 341,519 Southwest border apprehensions in 2017, Trump’s first year in office.

(Ryan Mills)

The 2021 Border Patrol encounters are the most in over 20 years, and more than the 1.6 million Border Patrol apprehensions in 2000, the next highest on record, according to the data. Earlier CBP data reviewed by National Review doesn’t include Office of Field Operations data.

Since May, Border Patrol encounters at the Southwest border have broken all monthly records, said Andrew Arthur, resident fellow in law and policy at the Center for Immigration Studies. The peak was in July, when CBP agents apprehended 213,593 migrants at the border. The number of monthly encounters dipped slightly through October, but have since ticked up again.

“Apprehensions typically peak in May, and decline through January, when they pick up again in February. We haven’t seen that sort of pattern this year,” Arthur said. “This migration doesn’t look anything like that historical trend.”

Biden’s critics blamed the border surge on the president’s pro-immigrant rhetoric on the campaign trail, and executive orders and efforts to dismantle Trump-era immigration deterrents, like the “Remain in Mexico” policy for asylum seekers and a temporary deportation moratorium. In early 2021, the Biden administration and mainstream media outlets claimed the border surge was part of a regular seasonal pattern. The Washington Post reported in March that the surge was “actually a predictable pattern.” Biden said “it happens every single, solitary year.”

But the surge never really stopped, and by late spring the Biden administration was blaming Trump for the chaos at the southern border. The surge “began during and was exacerbated by the Trump administration,” White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki said in May. “After four years of an immigration system rooted in destructive and chaotic policies, President Biden is talking the challenge head on and is building a fair, orderly, and human immigration system.”

Arthur said there are leaders in the Biden administration who aren’t happy with the ramped-up border apprehension numbers, because they know they are “poison for Democrats.” But there are immigrant advocates in the administration who are less concerned, he said.

“This is the frog in the hot water,” Arthur said. “They just want you to kind of get used to the fact that you’re going to see huge numbers of people enter illegally.”

The surge has taken a toll on the Border Patrol, which has had longstanding struggles with morale.

Over the last few months, only about half of the migrants encountered at the southern border have been expelled. Arthur said that part of the problem is that a decade ago, the vast majority of illegal immigrants crossing the southern border were single men from Mexico. Now, family units and children make up about a third of the Border Patrol’s encounters. It takes about eight hours to process a single adult male, whereas it can take days to process a family, he said.

“The reason they’re letting so many people go is they just don’t have the resources, they don’t have the manpower to actually care for that many people,” Arthur said.

“The Biden administration has broken the border,” Arthur said. “It might have been Biden’s rhetoric at the beginning; it certainly was. But now there are just so many people, the border’s broken, and Border Patrol lacks the capacity, CBP lacks the capacity to deal with the huge numbers of people that they’re seeing. So they let them go, which just encourages more to come in.”

Taxpayer-Funded Lawyers for Illegals So-called “deportation defense” is the next big thing in radical causes. Matthew Vadum

https://www.frontpagemag.com/fpm/2022/01/taxpayer-funded-lawyers-illegals-matthew-vadum/

Leftists like to keep criminals, rioters, and illegal aliens out on the streets where they can do damage to American society instead of behind bars where they belong.

Leftist groups like the Kamala Harris-endorsed Minnesota Freedom Fund, National Lawyers Guild, and the ACORN successor group, Missourians Organizing for Reform and Empowerment (MORE), set up bail funds for rioters to get them back out on the streets causing mayhem.

Now radicals are doing the same thing for illegal aliens.

The best friend of illegal aliens right now is the Brooklyn, New York-based Vera Institute of Justice, which spends much of its resources freeing illegals who often fail to appear for immigration hearings, from immigration detention facilities.

The extremist open-borders and anti-law and order narratives on Vera’s website, reeking of anti-Americanism, read like they were written by Noam Chomsky.

According to Vera: “In its scale and brutality, the American justice system is a global aberration[,]”; “The United States incarcerates more people than any other country in the world[,]”; and “People of color are incarcerated at an unmistakably higher rate than white people.”

The group’s mission is “[t]o end the overcriminalization and mass incarceration of people of color, immigrants, and people experiencing poverty.”

TSA Says It Will Accept Arrest Warrants as ID for Illegal Aliens at Airports By Rick Moran

https://pjmedia.com/news-and-politics/rick-moran/2022/01/19/tsa-says-it-will-accept-arrest-warrants-as-id-for-illegal-aliens-at-airports-n1550866

What sort of identification do you need to fly from a U.S. airport? According to the Transporation Security Agency (TSA), there are 16 forms of ID you can use to board an airplane. Generally, they include any government-issued ID like a driver’s license or a passport as well as military IDs, transportation worker cards, and a border crossing card.

And, if you’re an illegal alien and can’t manufacture your own ID or buy it, you can use your government-issued arrest warrant.

Daily Caller:

Responding to Republican Texas Rep. Lance Gooden’s Dec. 15 inquiry about illegal migrants flying across the country, TSA Administrator David Pekoske explained that certain Department of Homeland Security (DHS) documents may be considered acceptable forms of alternate identification for non-citizens, including a “Warrant for Arrest of Alien” and a “Warrant of Removal/Deportation.”

“TSA’s response confirms the Biden Administration is knowingly putting our national security at risk,” Gooden told the DCNF. “Unknown and unvetted immigrants shouldn’t even be in the country, much less flying without proper identification.”

GOOD NEWS FROM AMAZING ISRAEL FROM MICHAEL ORDMAN

These are very exciting times, as Israeli innovations are literally lifting-off. Dozens of Israeli children watched eight of their school-built nano-satellites being launched into space, and there is more good news about another 12 Israeli space projects. Intel has unveiled its latest 12th-generation Israeli-developed microprocessor and Israel’s Mobileye has lifted the lid on its super-computer chip to power autonomous cars. Those suffering from cancer, lupus and autism will have their hopes raised by the latest Israeli medical treatments and research. Afghan refugees and women in India will certainly get a lift from recent Israeli humanitarian initiatives.  Israeli trade and investment is rising to new heights and there are signs that Israeli tourism may be about to take off again. More ancient Jewish artifacts have been lifted from the Land of Israel, and the sight of blossoming trees is lifting spirits throughout the country.  Michael Ordman

ISRAEL’S MEDICAL ACHIEVEMENTS

Lupus treatment is right on target. Current treatments for lupus nephritis shut down much of the immune system, with many adverse side effects. A new therapy developed by researchers, including Israel’s Professor Chaim Putterman, targets only the relevant T-cells and is therefore much safer.

How we adapt to our environment. Researchers at Tel Aviv University have discovered that our physical bodies react to electrical voltage changes within nerve cells in the brain. So, if we encounter strong smell, a voltage change tells our G-protein voltage-sensitive receptors to reduce sensitivity to the smell.

Diet can slow brain aging. A green Mediterranean diet, high in polyphenols and low in red and processed meat, seems to slow age-related brain atrophy. Ben Gurion University researchers led an 18-month international randomized control trial on 300 participants – one of the world’s longest and largest brain MRI trials.

Let’s not have a path to citizenship for illegal aliens By Anony Mee

https://www.americanthinker.com/blog/2022/01/lets_not_have_a_path_to_citizenship_for_illegal_aliens.html

In recent days I’ve been happy to read that Biden’s Budget Busting Bill may be on its last gasp if not completely dead in the water. That’s because section 60001 of H.R. 5376 grants lawfully admitted permanent resident (LPR) status to the DREAMers. They are essentially illegals brought here as children who have done relatively well since then.

I understand the “compassionate” argument, that they did not choose to come here and they’ve done the best they can. However, many, if not most, of them have engaged in federal felony identity theft. To enroll in school, obtain employment, get a bank account, and have credit cards, they would have needed to provide a social security number. Given that they have no legal access to their own SSN, they used someone else’s. That’s a crime, and it was a deliberate one.

Professor Jan Ting, a Board Member over at the Center for Immigration Studies, has written an exquisite piece about the absolute harm this identity fraud has caused Americans, and how the Obama Administration quietly made it immeasurably worse by prioritizing illegals over citizens, thereby drastically increasing the risk that citizens would not receive their Social Security benefits.

The same perspective applies to all other pending legislation attempting to normalize the status of illegal immigrants in the United States.

Though I believe that enforcement should come before legalization efforts and was thoroughly disgusted decades ago working in the environment created by the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986, I am not entirely opposed to amnesty programs. Sometimes, it just makes sense.

However, the benefits of citizenship should never accrue to those who applied for temporary visas claiming they were coming for a limited time and then never left—the bulk of illegals currently in the country. Nor to those who were never lawfully admitted to this country in the first place.

Remember Ronil ‘Ron’ Singh CA police officer, a legal immigrant from Fiji, was gunned down by a criminal illegal. Lloyd Billingsley

https://www.frontpagemag.com/fpm/2021/12/remember-ronil-ron-singh-lloyd-billingsley/

On December 25, 2018, police officer Ronil Singh enjoyed a Christmas dinner in Newman, California. His wife Anamika wanted him to stay home Christmas night with their infant son, but the officer reported for duty because “his community needed him.” In the early morning hours, Singh pulled over a suspected drunk driver.

“Shots fired,” radioed Singh, his last words before dying from gunshot wounds. Shooter Gustavo Perez Arriaga, also known as Paulo Virgen Mendoza, an illegal immigrant, fled the scene with aid from other illegals. Last November Mendoza, who also had gang connections, was sentenced to life in prison.  Three years after the murder, crucial parts of the story may have been forgotten.

Ronil Singh was a legal immigrant from Fiji who came to the United States with the goal of becoming a police officer. Singh achieved his dream and by all accounts the seven-year veteran was a model officer. When he learned that a colleague had never flown on an airplane and never taken a vacation, Singh “literally threw his credit card on my desk and told me to book one. That was the embodiment of Ronil Singh.” His murder never should have happened.

The killer entered the United States illegally and in August, 2011, was arrested for a felony DUI that inflicted an injury. In June of 2014, the illegal was arrested on suspicion of a misdemeanor DUI. Mendoza never showed up for a five-day sentence and in January 2015 skipped a court date. A warrant was issued for his arrest, and in December of 2018, he was still a wanted man.

According to records, Mendoza’s illegal status was never raised in court, and federal immigration authorities had no contact with him before he murdered Ronil Singh. The Mexican was a beneficiary of California’s sanctuary law, under which false-documented illegals, even violent criminals, are a privileged and protected class.

Foreign-born population soars to new record under Biden; highest rate of immigrants since 1910 By Stephen Dinan

https://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2021/dec/20/foreign-born-population-soars-to-new-record-under-/

The U.S. has had a massive surge in immigration this year, with as many as 1.5 million newcomers and a record 46.2 million foreign-born people, according to a report for the Center for Immigration Studies.

After a deep trough last year, likely because of the COVID-19 pandemic and the travel and migration restrictions imposed to control the spread, the flow of people rebounded around the time President Biden was elected.

In numbers never seen before, they are coming legally through airports and land border crossings and illegally across the Rio Grande and remote regions of Arizona and California.

“There was pent-up demand for legal immigration, and illegal immigration has exploded in one of the greatest surges, if not the greatest, we’ve ever seen,” said Steven A. Camarota, the demographer who was the chief author of the report. “It’s driving the numbers up and up and up.”

As it stands, 14.2% of the U.S. population is foreign-born, or 1 out of every 7 people. That is the highest rate of immigrants in the population since 1910, when the number was 14.7%. At current trends, the government says, the U.S. will break that record well before the end of this decade.
