Illegal Alien, Twice Deported, Raped and Killed Jogger in Sanctuary State

Governor Phil Murphy’s transformation of New Jersey into a sanctuary state has left a trail of blood across its wounded communities. Support for illegal migration is a crime against humanity. But the same people crying fake tears on MSNBC or CNN over illegal aliens care nothing for the mounting death toll of their victims.

The man charged with raping and strangling a jogger in Jersey City’s Lincoln Park had already been deported twice, Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials said.

Jorge Rios, who was identified by ICE officials as Jorge Alberto Rios-Doblado, is from Honduras and “has been removed from the country on two prior occasions, in 2003 and 2004,” according to ICE’s Enforcement and Removal Operation (ICE-ERO) in Newark. ICE officials also said Rios initially entered the country illegally.

ICE-ERO said that it has placed a detainer on Rios following his arrest on Sunday on charges the 33-year-old kidnapped, raped and murdered Carolina Cano, 45, of Gautier Avenue in Jersey City, on March 24. The nanny’s body was found in the lake near the Casino in the Park building that day.

Cano is from Peru and worked as a nanny. A resident of the building where she lived off West Side Avenue said she had been in the United States for about two years. Jersey City Mayor Steve Fulop has said that it appears Cano and Rios were strangers.

Overwhelmed Immigration System Endangers America 9/11 Commission warned “Border security is national security.” Michael Cutler

The 9/11 Commission staff authored an official report, 9/11 and Terrorist Travel, that focused specifically on the ability of the 9/11 terrorists to travel around the world, enter the United States and embed themselves here as they went about their preparations to carry out a deadly attack.

The preface of this report begins with the following paragraph:

It is perhaps obvious to state that terrorists cannot plan and carry out attacks in the United States if they are unable to enter the country. Yet prior to September 11, while there were efforts to enhance border security, no agency of the U.S. government thought of border security as a tool in the counterterrorism arsenal. Indeed, even after 19 hijackers demonstrated the relative ease of obtaining a U.S. visa and gaining admission into the United States, border security still is not considered a cornerstone of national security policy. We believe, for reasons we discuss in the following pages, that it must be made one.

On March 29, 2019 Real Clear Politics posted three videos concerning the immigration crisis. To begin with, they posted a video of President Trump explaining his plan to completely shut down the U.S./Mexican border if Mexico continues to permit “migrant caravans” of aliens from Central America to travel through Mexico with the ultimate goal of entering the United States even though they have no visas to be lawfully admitted.

Border Patrol Union President: ‘This Is the Worst Crisis’ in Agency’s History By Jack Crowe

Brandon Judd, president of the National Border Patrol Council, said Tuesday that the influx of migrants currently flooding over the southern border represents the “worst crisis” U.S. Customs and Border Patrol agents have confronted since the agency was formed in 1924.

“This is the worst crisis the Border Patrol has ever faced in the history of the Border Patrol and we’re going back to 1924,” Judd told WMAL radio host Vince Coglianese.“In my 21-year career as a Border Patrol agent, I’ve never seen it like this and I’ve worked in the busiest locations. . . . In the history of the Border Patrol it’s never been like this before. This is the worst it’s ever been and if we don’t do something it’s going to continue to get worse.”

Judd’s comments come after the Department of Homeland Security announced that there were 100,000 apprehensions at the southern border in the month of March and 76,000 in February. The numbers for both months were the highest in ten years.

Happy National Border Control Day By Mark Krikorian

https://www.nationalreview.com/2019/03/cesar-chavez-birthday-national-border-control-day/

Celebrate Cesar Chavez’s true views about illegal immigration.

Today, Cesar Chavez’s birthday, has become Mexican Americans’ equivalent of Columbus Day for Italian Americans. It’s recognized as a holiday in certain states.

But more important than the parochial interest in Chavez as an ethnic icon is his relevance to the immigration debate.

Despite the appropriation of his name by the anti-borders crowd, Chavez was a fierce defender of America’s borders as a means of helping struggling American workers better themselves. That’s why March 31 is increasingly recognized as National Border Control Day. (Arizona representative Paul Gosar introduced a resolution to that effect last week.)And with a Merkel-level migration disaster brewing on our southern border, its observance is all the more necessary.

How Border Security Failures Make Us Sick The hypocrisy in our immigration debate. Michael Cutler

Several weeks ago I wrote about how Open Borders Are Dangerous To Our (Public) Health and noted that Ellis Island was a quarantine station.

In the weeks that followed, attention has greatly increased over the growing measles epidemic that is infecting increasing numbers of children particularly in New York State.

On March 26, 2019 the headline of a Newsday report blared: “State of emergency declared in Rockland County because of measles outbreak”. The subtitle of that article stated, “At least 153 people, mostly children, have been affected in the county. And nearly 200 cases have been counted in recent months in Brooklyn and Queens.”

News coverage of the worrying outbreak have focused on the orthodox Jewish community blaming their supposed religious beliefs and practices for not permitting their children to be vaccinated.

This raises the disquieting question if health concerns are being used as a way of demonizing members of the religious Jewish community by blaming them for the measles outbreak.

However the Newsday report provided this important quote:

“I am an Orthodox rabbi, and there is absolutely no religious authority that forbids one from getting vaccinated,” said Dr. Aaron Glatt, chairman of medicine at South Nassau Communities Hospital in Oceanside, and a specialist in infectious diseases.

“Unfortunately, there is a segment of the population that has fallen under the influence of the anti-vaxxers,” Glatt said of people who espouse anti-vaccine beliefs. “You see this among Jewish and non-Jewish parents. There is a strong contingent of anti-vaxxers who have ulterior motives, but most are decent parents who are just misinformed.”

Immigration: The Big Lies How the establishment media’s distortion of the truth undermines America. Michael Cutler

https://www.frontpagemag.com/fpm/273188/immigration-big-lies-michael-cutler

The Third Reich’s principle of the “Big Lie” involved the frequent repetition of lies so that the lies became perceived as the truth by the masses.

Orwell noted, “Political language is designed to make lies sound truthful and murder respectable, and to give an appearance of solidity to pure wind. ”

In this era of “Fake News” those tactics are purposely wielded by “journalists” to mislead Americans.

On March 15, 2019, News Leader, a subsidiary of USA Today, published an infuriating opinion piece, School owes apology for ICE agent talk at Kate Collins Middle: Our View.

While the article noted that the ICE agent was invited to the school and limited his activities to simply addressing the students of that school to explain the mission of ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement), the mere presence of that federal agent was enough to set off the editors who wrote their “hit piece” about the mere presence of an ICE agent at a public school.

The editors of the publication then spewed utter lies and false “facts” to justify their vitriolic attack on the federal agency that is charged with enforcing federal immigration laws.

In fact, the lies began at the beginning of the editorial and were liberally sprinkled throughout that which followed.

Here is the opening salvo they fired against ICE:

Maine GOP Leader Attacked for Opposing Open Borders Party vice chairman Nick Isgro is under fire for daring to be a conservative. Matthew Vadum

https://www.frontpagemag.com/fpm/273229/maine-gop-leader-attacked-opposing-open-borders-matthew-vadum

“The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reports that “[t]ravelers with measles continue to bring the disease into the U.S.” So far this year the CDC has confirmed 268 individual cases of measles in 15 states, including three states that border Mexico (Arizona, California, and Texas).Nick Isgro has the facts on his side, but when have facts ever mattered to leftists and open-borders fanatics?”

The vice chairman of the Maine Republican Party, Nick Isgro, is under fire for inveighing against open borders and the health problems that unvaccinated migrants from Third World countries are bringing with them to America.

This blowback against Isgro is part of the Left’s ongoing effort to stigmatize conservatives by presenting their views as abnormal, antisocial, racist, and xenophobic. Isgro hasn’t said anything millions of conservatives haven’t said before, but the open-borders movement and its attack dogs in both political parties are always on the lookout for new scalps.

Some Republicans like Maine Senate Minority Leader Dana Dow attack Isgro for standing up for America and American values, while others praise him for his principled stands. Isgro, who said he has received “a massive outcry of support,” is also mayor of Waterville, Maine. He survived a recall election in June.

Isgro said he wrote the controversial tweets “to open a dialogue concerning all of the things that are in play when affecting public health policy.”

As the father of five children, I know exactly what it’s like to be a parent up in the middle of the night, with a child with high fever and wondering if things are going to be okay. It angers me to see families like mine attacked for simply wanting to do with [sic] they know what is best for their own children rather than the government. Families should be engaged and respected – not attacked. [M]y own family will always be my first priority and I will continue to defend the families of Maine and their freedoms.

The Wall: Moral and Good Srdja Trifkovic

https://www.chroniclesmagazine.org/2019/April/44/4/magazine/article/10846300/

President Donald Trump’s predecessors have circumvented Congress before on issues the legislative branch had tried to stop.  They have redirected resources appropriated by lawmakers.  They have resorted to the same National Emergencies Act that Trump is invoking in order to build the Wall along the country’s southern border.  None of their actions triggered a reaction as immediate and as virulent, however, as Trump’s announcement on February 15.

The declaration was immediately attacked by Democrats and in the media as an abuse of presidential power that violated both the Constitution and the authority of Congress, a cynical move not warranted by events.  On February 22 House Democrats introduced a joint resolution, just one page long, which declares that the national emergency “is hereby terminated.”  Even if four Republicans subsequently support the resolution in the Senate, Trump will kill it with his first veto.

The courts present a more serious challenge.  Trump acknowledged that the administration expected to be sued, that it was prepared for “a bad ruling . . . and then we’ll end up in the Supreme Court.”  Indeed, by the last week of February his decision had already drawn five lawsuits, including one from a coalition of 16 Democratic states led by California and another from the Sierra Club and ACLU.  All of them made the same key points: There is no real border emergency, immigrants are not disproportionately responsible for crime, and no barrier will stop the influx of drugs.  Regardless of the reality of an emergency, they claim that Congress, not the President, should decide how to spend federal dollars.

Trump Vetoes Congressional Effort to Kill the Border Emergency The president throws down the gauntlet against leftists, NeverTrumpers, and weak-kneed Republicans. Matthew Vadum

https://www.frontpagemag.com/fpm/273183/trump-vetoes-congressional-effort-kill-border-matthew-vadum

After Congress voted to overturn President Trump’s emergency declaration to divert federal funds to build a wall on the nation’s porous border with Mexico, the president issued the first-ever veto of his administration to keep the declaration intact.

The veto is Trump’s effort to defend the emergency he declared Feb. 15 under the National Emergencies Act of 1976.

Trump invoked the act as Congress gave final approval to a $333 billion omnibus spending bill. The legislation provides $1.375 billion for 55 miles of border barriers in Texas, well below the $5.7 billion Trump sought for a border wall and the $25 billion he originally said was needed. The emergency declaration moves around $6.7 billion in funding that was previously appropriated for other projects, largely for military construction. In his new fiscal 2020 budgetary blueprint provided to Congress March 11, the president is seeking another $8.6 billion to build the border wall.

On March 14 the Republican-dominated Senate approved a resolution 59-41 disapproving of Trump’s emergency declaration as 12 GOP senators joined Democrats. On Feb. 26 the Democrat-controlled House approved the disapproval resolution introduced by leftist Congressman Joaquin Castro (D-Texas) on a vote of 245 to 182.

The vetoed resolution now heads back to Congress where hostile lawmakers probably won’t be able to get the two-thirds supermajority in both chambers needed to override Trump’s veto and invalidate the emergency declaration.

But that won’t stop the open-borders crowd from trying.

Let’s Get Serious About What Constitutes a National Emergency by Linda Goudsmit

 http://goudsmit.pundicity.com http://lindagoudsmit.comhttp://goudsmit.pundicity.com/22458/let-get-serious-about-what-constitutes-a-national

Let’s get serious. If hundreds of thousands of unvetted illegal aliens storming our southern border is not a national emergency what is?Leftists don’t consider open borders a national emergency because they welcome illegal hordes into America to overwhelm the welfare system, collapse the economy, and vote illegally to insure one-party Democrat dominance. It is their preferred road to destroying America from within and imposing socialism.

Sharia compliant Muslims do not consider it a national emergency because hundreds of thousands of their sharia compliant Muslim Brotherhood brethren are pouring in determined to replace our Constitution with sharia law and establish an Islamic caliphate on United States soil.Drug dealers do not consider open borders a national emergency because their product can be brought into the country easily without fear of incarceration.

Gang members do not consider open borders a national emergency because their murderous brethren can cross the border and be protected in sanctuary cities.
