Illegal Alien from Mexico Charged With Killing Ex-Girlfriend Daniel Greenfield

https://www.frontpagemag.com/point/271113/illegal-alien-mexico-charged-killing-ex-girlfriend-daniel-greenfield

This is not the Mollie Tibbets story. But it does show the ubiquity of illegal alien crime. Especially the murder of women.

On Tuesday evening, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement announced it placed an immigration detainer with the Scott County Jail on Fraider Diaz-Carbajal, “an illegal alien from Mexico, for suspected immigration violations following his local arrest for second-degree murder.”

According to ICE, Diaz-Carbajal has a criminal history that includes “numerous misdemeanor convictions, including three DUIs and one for domestic assault. On Dec. 17, 2012, a federal immigration judge ordered Diaz-Carbajal removed (deported) to Mexico; ICE officers removed him two days later. Since then he illegally re-entered the United States, which is a felony. He remains in local custody pending adjudication of his criminal charges.”

Fraider Diaz-Carbajal is charged with second-degree murder in the death of 27-year-old Enedelia Perez Garcia.

Shortly after 4 p.m. on Aug. 12, officers were called to an apartment on the 1200 block of Taylor Street on a report of an assault. According to the criminal complaint, when officers arrived, they found Diaz-Carbajal lying face down on top of the victim. The victim was sitting on the floor with her back against the wall and did not appear to be breathing. The suspect was laying on her with his head resting on her stomach and chest. Officers observed a lot of blood around the pair and in the area, as well as a large knife covered in blood next to the suspect.

Elizabeth Warren To Mollie Tibbetts’ Family: You Need To Focus On ‘Real Problems’ Like Immigrant Family Separations Warren said she’s ‘sorry’ Mollie Tibbetts is dead, but we must focus on the ‘real problems’ of lawbreaking parents at the border who are being temporarily separated from their kids. Democratic Sen. Elizabeth Warren said Wednesday she’s “sorry” Mollie Tibbetts is dead, but urged her family and friends to remember to focus on the “real problems” at the border, where parents are being temporarily separated from their children.

An illegal immigrant has been charged with murdering Tibbetts, a 20-year-old University of Iowa student recently found dead in a cornfield. Republicans have called for a stronger immigration system that might have prevented this crime.

After offering her condolences to the Tibbetts family, who will never be reunited with their daughter again, Warren immediately pivoted to how said it is that moms at the border who have willfully broken the law are being temporarily separated from their babies.

“I’m so sorry for the family here and I know this is hard not only for her family but for the people in her community, the people throughout Iowa,” she said. “But one of the things we have to remember is we need an immigration system that is effective, that focuses on where the real problems are.”

An illegal immigrant has been charged with first-degree murder in the death of a 20-year-old University of Iowa student, officials announced on Tuesday.

The body of Mollie Tibbetts, who disappeared after going for a jog on July 18, was located in a cornfield on Tuesday, according to Rick Rahn, special agent in charge at the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation.

“Our hearts go out to the Tibbetts family and to the Brooklyn community. It is a loss for all of us,” Poweshiek County Sheriff Tom Kriegel said in a news release.

Authorities believe the suspect, 24-year-old Cristhian Bahena Rivera, has lived in the area for four to seven years and immigrated from Mexico. Based on surveillance-camera footage, police determined he followed Tibbetts during her jog before abducting her.

It remains unclear exactly how Rivera killed Tibbetts, but an autopsy is scheduled for Wednesday and should provide more detailed information.

Democrats’ Attack on ICE Agents is Working Why more terrorism is inevitable. Michael Cutler

Open-Borders/Immigration Anarchist “journalists” and politicians howl virtually every time an ICE agent arrests an illegal alien, who is, in fact, violating our immigration laws.

Their high-profile positions cover them while deceiving the American people – with their carefully crafted narratives designed to tug on the heartstrings of millions of trusting people. But Americans are coming to understand how they have been lied to and manipulated.

This realization explains why Donald Trump is now President Trump.

However, die-hard globalist politicians, Democrats, in particular, refuse to acknowledge that President Trump won the election and they deny that he won by promising the American people secure borders and national sovereignty were behind his victory.

Rather than listening to American citizens to meet their demands and expectations about immigration, these globalists have publicly descended into madness, concocting a “Russian collusion” narrative to de-legitimize the election. What’s worse, these globalists demonize supporters of any commonsense immigration law enforcement.

FBI Finds Fake Refugee — And ISIS Killer Another ticking time bomb taken off the streets.Lloyd Billingsley

The FBI Joint Terrorism Taskforce last week arrested Omar Abdulsattar Ameen, 45, an accused ISIS and al-Qaeda terrorist who lied about his background to gain entry to the United States.

The Iraqi national, a DOJ statement explains, “participated in various activities in support of those terrorist organizations, including helping to plant improvised explosive devices, and committing the murder that is the subject of the extradition request. Ameen concealed his membership in those terrorist groups when he applied for refugee status, and later when he applied for a green card in the United States.”

According to the statement, after the town of Rawah fell to the Islamic State on June 21, 2014, “Ameen entered the town with a caravan of ISIS vehicles and drove to the house of the victim, who had served as an officer in the Rawah Police Department. On the evening of June 22, 2014, after the caravan arrived at the victim’s house, Ameen and other members of the convoy allegedly opened fire on the victim. Ameen then allegedly fired his weapon at the victim while the victim was on the ground, killing him.”

Iraq seeks the extradition of Ameen, who had been living comfortably in Sacramento, California, taking college classes and working an at auto body shop. The FBI has information that Ameen had been a member of al Qaeda and ISIS since 2004, and that his family helped found al Qaeda in Iraq. According to witnesses, the Ameen home served as a headquarters for ISIS in Rawah. In a 2006 attack on Iraqi army headquarters in the Al Karabilah area, the government charges, Ameen took soldiers as prisoners and executed them.

America Needs a Border Wall Like Houses Need Insulation How Trump’s wall will help keep heinous criminals out of America’s cities. Michael Cutler

https://www.frontpagemag.com/fpm/271010/america-needs-border-wall-houses-need-insulation-michael-cutler

Readers familiar with my writing know of my fondness for analogies to break down the, sometimes complex and always frustrating issues on U.S. immigration. Today, I will use an analogy comparing the proposed border wall along the U.S./Mexican border to insulate America with the way that various forms of insulation are used in constructing buildings to save money and provide other benefits.

Properly constructed homes and buildings are weatherproofed and insulated to create barriers that keep out rain and to keep their interiors warm and cozy in the winter and cool in the summer.

Various strategies and materials are used to achieve these essential goals. Insulation is installed inside outer walls and in the spaces under the roofs of the houses while double-pane windows, storm doors, and weatherstripping are used to seal up other vulnerable areas.

These measures are costly to install, but over the life of the building, these measures more than pay for themselves. Depending on location, home heating and cooling costs can be significantly reduced when effective insulation prevents costly warm air from escaping from the house during the frigid days of winter, and by preventing hot air from leaking into our homes during the sweltering days of summer when the air conditioners are humming and devouring expensive electricity.

Does Trump Have What It Takes to Win on Immigration? By Karin McQuillan

https://www.americanthinker.com/articles/2018/08/does_trump_have_what_it_takes_to_win_on_immigration.html

President Trump has faced down the Chinese, the Russians, ISIS, and North Korea, but does he have what it takes to force Congress to fix immigration? I am beginning to think the answer is no. Congressional leadership has secured the votes, and worked the rules, to pass the president’s agenda only when the members agree with his policies, such as choosing conservative justices or lowering taxes. On issues such as Obamacare and immigration, where the GOP establishment disagrees with Trump, he has failed.

On Obamacare, Trump gave up in disgust after killing the individual mandate. He can’t do that on immigration. Fixing immigration was a big promise. He has got to deliver.

The art of negotiation requires both carrots and sticks. Trump has shown little to offer or threaten that the impervious incumbents of the GOP want or fear. He has endorsed their candidates and campaigned for them and been rewarded with no loyalty. The rewards of their lobbyists and payoffs of crony corruption have made our politicians, especially leadership, independent of voters and of the president.

President Trump has Republican voters behind him on every detail of his immigration policy. Voters want a wall. They want more border patrol. They want an end to catch and release and an end to visa overstays. Voters also agree with Trump that we need to cut down legal migration. They want Muslim immigration heavily vetted and curtailed. They want an end to chain migration.

But as every conservative knows to our sorrow, Republican career politicians don’t care about the wishes of ordinary voters.

THE DACA SWORD OF DAMOCLES: A solution worse than the problem is hanging over America’s head.Michael Cutler

https://www.frontpagemag.com/fpm/270929/daca-sword-damocles-michael-cutler
On Sunday morning, July 22, 2018, Congressman Steve Scalice, the Republican Whip in the House of Representatives was interviewed on Fox News about the Republican agenda, particularly in light of the upcoming midterm elections. He understandably touted the booming economy, plans to create more jobs and then, in response to the question of “protecting the DACA recipients” he expressed determination to secure the border and “protect DACA recipients.” He bemoaned the refusal of the House Democrats to join with the Republicans to protect those supposedly “young” illegal aliens.

My immediate thought, “Not again!”

The original effort of the “Gang of Eight” to pass Comprehensive Immigration Reform, employed the scam that since we cannot deport the millions of illegal aliens who are present in the United States America should first secure the border (with Mexico) and then get the millions of illegal aliens “out of the shadows.”

On May 5, 2005 I testified at a hearing conducted by the House Immigration Subcommittee on the topic, New “Dual Missions” Of The Immigration Enforcement Agencies.

Republican Congressman Lamar Smith, a former Chairman of that subcommittee, participated in that hearing. His prepared testimony laid to waste the argument that there were too many illegal aliens to deport them all. Here is the relevant segment:

In other words, we make it very, very easy in many, many ways for individuals to stay here who are here illegally. That is not the right signal to send if we are, in fact, serious about reducing illegal immigration in America.

Trump Vows Border Wall Showdown But jelly-spined Republicans don’t have the president’s back. Matthew Vadum

https://www.frontpagemag.com/fpm/270901/trump-vows-border-wall-showdown-matthew-vadum

President Trump raised the specter of a federal government shutdown Sept. 30 if Congress refuses to hand over money to build the southern border wall that the American people have been demanding for decades.

Trump seems aware that, contrary to perceived wisdom, furloughing feds for a few days is smart politics that almost invariably benefits the Republican Party. Recent history shows that when Republicans shutter the government in Washington, they win elections.

“If we don’t get border security after many, many years of talk within the United States, I would have no problem doing a shutdown,” Trump said at the White House Monday during a joint presser with Giuseppe Conte, Italy’s new prime minister who has already gained a reputation as an immigration hardliner.

Trump praised Conte’s stance on immigration and called U.S. immigration laws a “laughingstock” and the “worst” in the world.

“And I agree very much what you’re doing with respect to migration and illegal immigration, and even legal immigration,” Trump told the Italian premier. “Italy has taken a very firm stance on the border, a stance a few countries have taken. And, frankly, you’re doing the right thing, in my opinion. And a lot of other countries in Europe should be doing it also.”

Trump urged Congress to get to work on revamping the nation’s immigration system and said he would “certainly be willing to close it down to get it done.” In addition to wall construction funding, the Trump administration wants to end chain migration and abolish the diversity green card lottery.

Ever the dealmaker, Trump refused to be pinned down by pushy reporters. Although the government will run out of money at the end of September, the president did not promise to veto a spending bill that would avert a shutdown unless it contained “full” funding for a wall with Mexico, but added, “I’ll always leave room for negotiation.”

NYC Enlists Shop Keepers, Not ICE, To Combat Transnational Gangs New lows in immigration lunacy.

Today we will examine a confluence of events and connect the dots to expose hypocrisy and dispel the myths and lies spewed by immigration anarchists.

Let’s begin with a July 18, 2018 report from the NY Post newspaper stating that the state of New York is suing the Justice Department over immigration laws. According to this report both the City of New York and the State of New York are suing the U.S. Justice Department to stop the DOJ from blocking four million dollars in federal funds for not complying with regulations that require that the city and other recipients of federal grants provide notice to the Department of Homeland Security at least 48 hours in advance of the date and time of any inmate for whom the DHS had requested such an advance notice, and to provide DHS with access to inmates in city-maintained detention facilitates when DHS deems them to be “persons of interest.”

U.S. News & World Report also published an Associated Press news report about the same story but also noting that in addition to New York City and New York State, five other states, New Jersey, Connecticut, Washington, Massachusetts and Virginia had also filed lawsuits on July 18, 2018 in the federal courthouse in lower Manhattan.

The total amount of money being withheld by the DOJ is twenty-five million dollars of which four million would go to New York City.

The news report included this excerpt which quoted New York City’s mayor:

“Our message is clear: the Trump Administration’s actions are illegal and morally bankrupt,” New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio said in a release.
