MY SAY:

MY SAY: JUST YOU WAIT

With apologies to Alan Jay Lerner and Frederick Loewe who wrote “Just You Wait” for the brilliant “My Fair Lady” in 1956. Rsk

Just you wait all you turncoats just you wait,

You’ll be sorry but your rue will be too late

You will run and you’ll need money

Will we help you? don’t be funny.

Just you wait all you turncoats you will see

Chuck and Nancy will make mincemeat out of thee.

With all your virtue signals and your pomp

You’ll all be treading water in the swamp.

Just you wait! RSK

MY SAY: WHAT IS NANCY PELOSI AFRAID OF?

Nancy Pelosi is actually demonic in her efforts to delegitimate President Trump. Why? Here is my take.

First: She knows and may have participated in outright election fraud. As my friend Phil B. reminds me:

”  Biden could not attract a crowd once he did emerge from the basement and  blurted out the truth on October 24 that a large-scale vote fraud operation was in place.  Biden’s exact words were: “We have put together the most extensive and inclusive voter fraud organization in the history of American politics.”    It was not by happenstance that Democrat run swing states all stopped counting around midnight when Trump was ahead and in the middle of the night had statistically impossible massive Biden vote dumps.”

Investigations will continue.

Second:  She also knows that the Hunter Biden scandal will involve the influence peddling of his father as a former Vice President.

Third: She knows that Donald Trump remains the standard bearer of the Republican conservatives who voted for him.

Those fears can only be thwarted if she demolishes his legacy and reputation and ability to run for office again.

Alas Nancy, history will vindicate Donald Trump…..rsk

MY SAY: THE ABHORIORS

I got e-mails suggesting that I was too flippant regarding the riot and break-in on January 6, 2021. Maybe they are right.

For the record I despise, detest, loathe, execrate, and revile mob violence. Even more…Je Suis the Capitol. Okay? Enough.

President Trump was denied a fair hearing of evidence- affidavits and video proof of election chicanery. The Supremes and state judges dismissed his lawsuits and allegations without even a cursory look at evidence. The faux conservative media  would not even consider what was a legitimate request for hearings and transparency but now sanctions the venal calls for impeachment. The Justice Department, the FBI, the CIA, and Homeland Security denied the President his well-earned day in court.

In the Senate, the Mitt Romney clones jumped off the listing Trump ship of state like rats and displayed selective outrage after turning a blind eye to the riots that destroyed and torched cities and private property in the name of racial justice.

Also abhorrent is the tolerance of the Democrat party for blatant anti-American, anti-Semitism and racism in the corridors of power. rsk

MY SAY: CONGRATULATE JOE BIDEN? OH PULEEZ!

I accept the fact that he will be inaugurated, but I have to reach for an anti-emetic every time a column starts with the requisite denunciation of the storming of the capitol and segues into congratulating Biden. I would not don a “pussy hat” and march with harridans proclaiming “he is not my president” as they did the day after the inauguration of President Trump in 2016.

When the dust settles  a proper investigation of the election and the riot should occur and until then I will avoid the obsequy and virtue signaling…..rsk

MY SAY: WON’T BE HOME FOR CHRISTMAS

This year, like Thanksgiving, and Passover and other family and religious holidays, millions of Americans will be deprived of gathering with loved ones to celebrate Christmas, thanks to the draconian and illogical lock downs which have caused great economic and social harm. The elderly for whom each holiday is a milestone will not enjoy the fun of grandchildren and Santa Claus and gifts. As author Sydney Williams writes today ZOOM cannot replace a hug. It is bleak.
The song,” I’ll Be Home for Christmas” was written in 1943 by Walter Kent, composer and Kim Gannon lyricist to honor the troops in World War 2 who were stationed thousands of miles from home in jungles, high seas, bunkers in snow or mud who would miss Christmas at home and faced lonely nights aching with homesickness. The song reverberated both with the patriot soldiers and their anxious families at home.
After imagining a festive Christmas scene, it ends with a plaintive “but only in my dreams.”
In December 1943 Americans waited for the war to end. In December of 2020, with a longing beyond expression isolated Americans wait for the pandemic to ebb with hopes that a New Year will bring better days and national renewal….if only in our dreams.

Here is a toast to health and some merriment during the holidays. L’Chaim! To Life. Rsk

My Say: “Doctor” Jill Biden could use the old German titles

Poor Jill Biden, so caricatured by the media is just another woman looking for relevance.  If her husband were president, the now now antiquated German custom of addressing married women and widows by their husbands’ or deceased husbands’ titles could be recycled. And instead of “frau doktor” she could be called “Frau President” and that beats “doctor’ and “Flotus”  by a mile…..rsk

MY SAY: A WORD OF CAUTION FOR THE SUPREME COURT JUSTICES

Court-Packing Would Be the Very Tyranny Democrats Have Warned About By Charles C. W. Cooke

https://www.nationalreview.com/2020/10/court-packing-would-be-the-biggest-scandal-in-decades/

Democrats are threatening to pack the Supreme Court by enacting legislation to expand its size if they take the White House and Senate in 2020.

MY SAY: HANUKAH THE UNIVERSAL HOLIDAY

Hanukah is a universal holiday. It represents the triumph of truth and faith over cults and idolatry and oppression. Today’s Hellenist worships junk science, politically correct nostrums, speech control, “woke” progressive cant, and challenges tradition, history and our sacred Constitution.  May America prevail like the ancient Maccabees in restoring our culture, patriotism and belief in American democracy and exceptionalism.

Whatever your faith, I sincerely wish us all a Happy Hanukah and share with you two messages from our best leaders:

Ronald Reagan in 1987:

” There has been more than enough tragedy in Jewish history, but Jews have always believed in their own future. This faith brought victory to the Maccabees, accounts for the founding of the modern State of Israel, and explains the equally inspiring birth of the Soviet Jewry movement and the responsive chord it has struck among Jews throughout the world. These examples show that the message of Hanukkah is timeless. Its lessons inspire the struggles of today and the victories of tomorrow. “

President Donald Trump: Hanukah 2019:

” As the Jewish community gathers together to celebrate this special and sacred time of year, we are reminded of God’s message of hope, mercy, and love.  Throughout the coming eight days, each candle to be lit on the menorah will signal to the world that freedom and justice will always shine brighter than hate and oppression.

Today, the relationship between the United States and Israel, one of our most cherished allies and friends, is stronger than ever.  We will continue to stand with the Jewish people in defending the God-given right to worship freely and openly.

May the light of the menorah and the fellowship of family and friends fill your hearts with happiness and a renewed sense of faith.”

MY SAY: A TALE OF TWO COUNTRIES?

I am shocked by the number of people-good people and ostensibly patriotic people- who are willing to just let it go and accept the riddled with fraud election of Joseph Biden. They dismiss incontrovertible evidence of serious malfeasance ignored by the mainstream media.

Where is the mettle and informed opinion and demand that our franchise be freed from manipulation and deceit?

This should be bipartisan.  Are there two Americas? rsk

MY SAY: HOW ABOUT GRATITUDE TO PRESIDENT TRUMP FOR THE VACCINES?

Big pharma competes with one another for property rights to vaccines and pharmaceuticals and generics. President Trump, to his eternal credit, and routinely mocked for his efforts, mandated the warp speed collaboration in research and development that occasioned the vaccines that may be available to the public by the end of the year. It is unprecedented.
However, the media and vox populi simply ignore his triumph in dealing with the pandemic so giddy are they with the putative Biden victory.
Thank you, President Trump! God bless you! rsk
