Registered Democrats in rural areas are starting to hide their party affiliation for fear of pushback from neighbors, the Associated Press (AP) recently reported. The Democratic Party’s plummeting popularity, spurred by calls to defund the police, rampant rioting, and the Biden administration’s mishandling of the COVID-19 pandemic has caused many typically Democratic areas to flip and leave the remaining Democrats in the local partisan minority.

Democratic Representative Jim Cooper of Tennessee warned that the party could potentially disappear altogether in small towns across America.

“It’s hard to sink lower than we are right now. You’re almost automatically a pariah in rural areas if you have a D after your name,” he told the AP.

“The hatred for Democrats is just unbelievable,” Tim Holohan told the AP. He is an accountant in rural Pennsylvania. “I feel like we’re on the run.”

To help ensure her safety, he encouraged his daughter to remove her pro-Joe Biden bumper sticker. Other rural citizens remove their pro-Democrat yard signs at night to prevent theft and vandalism.

Our more than slightly off-plumb president is a fount of odd and counterintuitive claims. One of his latest and most cynical is that our Constitution is “always evolving.” I’ll wait here while you think about this for a few seconds.

A few seconds is all that’s needed to see that there is no difference between having a “constantly evolving” Constitution and having no Constitution at all. With an evolving Constitution there’s no guarantee that what it is said to mean on Monday would bear any resemblance to what it will mean on Tuesday. It would simply mean whatever is consistent with the policies and prejudices of the party in power. An evolving Constitution is simply words on old paper, words with no more effect on our laws and the daily conduct of government affairs than a note passed in study hall.

Of course our Joe’s positions on the large issues of the day have been “always evolving” since he chose politics over legitimate work back in the butt end of the Tricky Dick administration. The eccentric voters in tiny Delaware first coughed up this hairball in 1972 and regularly sent him back to the U.S. Senate every six years (I can see their point — it got him out of Delaware) until Barack Obama, needing a white guy to share his presidential ticket, drafted him.

Biden’s policy positions have evolved depending on where the center of gravity of the Democrat Party has been, merging effortlessly from the center-left/reasonably moderate Democrat Party of the ’70s to the present two steps left of WHOOPIE! socialist Democrat Party. The man is a political and philosophical empty suit with no center of gravity of his own. A windsock.

He’s gone from being tough on crime to the current Democrat creed that cops are criminals and criminals are victims faster than you can say focus group. He’s gone from being tough on illegal immigration to the current voter replacement stance of his party — economically stated, “We don’t need no stinking border” — faster than you can say Bienvenidos a los Estados Unidos. It’s no wonder that his handlers keep him away from mirrors, for fear that the world might notice that he doesn’t reflect in them, there being nothing to reflect.

There are no clear off-ramps for the protesters, and no one in a position of authority seems to know how to deescalate the situation.

Corporate media outlets like The Atlantic and The New York Times have been telling us for years now how Hungary and Poland are incubators of authoritarianism that represent an existential threat to democracy. But it turns out we should have been worried about Canada and Australia, of all places.

If you had told me 18 months ago that Australia, a democratic country that once seemed to exude rugged individualism, would devolve into a Covid police state that imprisons its citizens in quarantine camps and deploys riot police to crush lockdown protests with brute force, I wouldn’t have believed you. But here we are.

Now comes Canada, where the “Freedom Convoy” of truckers that arrived in Ottawa more than a week ago to protest Covid vaccine mandates has effectively shut down Canada’s capital. The mayor declared a state of emergency on Monday after the city’s law enforcement authorities talked openly about calling in the military over the weekend.

To date this doctor has treated 3,000 patients with COVID-19 symptoms, with only three high-risk patients dying.

Many doctors around the world started using the anti-malaria drug hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) early on in the COVID-19 pandemic. Among them is Dr. Vladimir Zelenko, a practicing physician in a Jewish community in Monroe, New York.

He garnered national attention in March 2020 when he told radio host Sean Hannity that he’d had a near-100% success rate treating COVID-19 patients with HCQ, azithromycin and zinc sulfate for five days. “I’ve seen remarkable results; it really prevents progression of disease, and patients get better,” he said at the time.

In response, county health officials said Zelenko’s claims were “unsubstantiated” and urged residents to listen to public health officials. In this interview, he explains how HCQ works against COVID-19, and discusses the lies spun about the drug to suppress its widespread use. Zelenko had a very active Twitter account and would get millions of views on his tweets, and like many other truth tellers in this crazy pandemic, he was censored and recently removed from Twitter.

“When we have a large population of people that need to be treated, it has to be oral, cheap, safe and effective,” he says. “By the way, this is not new. This information was known in 2005 — even before.

There are papers with [Dr. Anthony] Fauci’s name on it, calling [HCQ] a miracle drug. Fauci called HCQ a vaccine. There’s a paper in which he called it an absolute dream treatment and vaccine. So, it’s conveniently forgotten but that’s what it is. It’s a matter of scientific record.”

What is most impressive to me is that he, through deep research and trial and error in the trenches, determined an incredibly effective protocol, and he did this under enormous personal health challenges. During the spring of last year, he was diagnosed with a type of pulmonary sarcoma that is typically considered terminal, and although improved, he continues to be under treatment for this condition.

From Jeff Bezos to Joe Biden, noted Sinophiles and racists litter the landscape of the left.  For where there is slavery (China), and racist social division to be sown (America), there is enormous profit to be made.

It is an established fact that leading Democrats are cliché-spewing tools who emote out of the southern end of their alimentary canals and whose neurotic hysteria sets the national agenda.  Yet they have amassed quite a lemming-like following of true believers, progressive foot soldiers who think things have not gone “far enough” in terms of silencing, humiliating, and otherwise eliminating the universal scourge of “whiteness itself.” 

Their lust for tribal blood sport coupled with an insatiable sadism, white progressives (Baizuo, in Mandarin) churn bilge from their deep reservoirs of racial obsession, seeking strength in numbers by deliberately fomenting additional racism among America’s ethnic minorities in order to bring about the “deconstruction” of white people and America itself.

According to many of society’s leading cultural and political figures, white America’s racism is institutional and “structural,” in the feng shui of the nation — the upholstery, the very plumbing — and is ineradicable.  Unless, it goes without saying, white people themselves are eradicated.

Echoing socialist heroes like George Bernard Shaw, countless white university professors have repeatedly proposed and promoted a proto- if not outright genocide against members of their own race.  And, like Shaw, these genocide-minded Caucasians carved out an exemption for themselves and their progressive fellow travelers on the grounds that, in their telling, they are “anti-racist” (could they be any more Orwellian?) and, thus enlightened, are brimming with unbridled virtue when they advocate for the mass murder of white people.

‘Suppose we had done to China what they have done to us?’

In the intensifying great power contest between the United States and genocidal Communist China, it is imperative to devise a strategy for victory, not one for subservience and appeasement.  

As Ronald Reagan proclaimed as he ended the myth of détente and commenced the drive for an irenic victory over the USSR’s evil empire: “We win, they lose.” Ultimately, through our nation and our allies’ perspicacious strategic and morally courageous policies, we won and the Soviets lost.  (And all of this without so much as a “snowflake” of the “nuclear winter” the accommodating, appeasing domestic Left had virtually guaranteed would occur under the leadership of the “amiable dunce” and “nuclear cowboy,” “Ronald Ray-Gun.”)

In devising a strategy to defeat our present totalitarian enemy, how would one assess the future of genocidal Communist China if, within their borders, our policies were accomplishing the following:

The elites of the genocidal Communist Chinese regime and their family members were corrupted and compromised by the United States?
Communist China’s government was rife with U.S. spies?
Communist China’s government was being lobbied by Chinese foreign agents paid for by the United States?
Communist China’s government was simultaneously being lobbied on behalf of the United States by Chinese businesses who are fearful of being excluded from the American economy?
Communist China’s propaganda campaigns were being hamstrung by Chinese business leaders, athletes, activists, artists, and others messaging on behalf of the United States?
Communist China’s media received money to disseminate U.S. propaganda?
Communist China was divided over the meaning of its revolutionary past and its present with a large segment of its population believing their country was founded illegitimately upon an exploitative, irredeemable ideology; denigrating communist revolutionaries and tearing down statues of Mao; deconstructing their vocabulary to reconcile it with free world concepts, and echoing the anti-regime propaganda disseminated by the United States?
Communist China’s People’s Liberation Army was purging its ranks of “Maoist extremists” and indoctrinating its troops with a philosophy of liberty, equality, and all God-given rights that are derived from the foundational principles of the United States?
Communist China’s universities were awash in U.S. dollars, premised upon the condition there are unflattering matters that cannot be mentioned about the United States?
These same Communist Chinese universities housed “Madison Institutes,” where the revolutionary ideals of the United States are proselytized to and by Chinese faculty members and students?
Communist China’s students were taking to the streets and recreating their own version of the American Revolution by demanding their God-given rights, building statues of Lady Liberty, and quoting Madison and Jefferson and other founders of the United States (and weren’t being massacred by the regime for it this time)?
Communist China’s supply chain—including essential parts and products within such sectors as technology, manufacturing, medications, and thus the military—was housed within and almost wholly and dangerously dependent upon the United States?
Communist China’s own manufacturing base had been decimated by the predatory trade practices of the United States?
Communist China’s entire economy had been incessantly and successfully targeted for industrial espionage to illegally harvest their trade secrets by the United States?
Communist China was over $1 trillion dollars in debt to the United States?

For the first nine months of the COVID-19 pandemic, there were no officially approved outpatient treatments for combating the disease. The medical establishment expressed extreme caution regarding such treatments, and these warnings were amplified by major media hostile to President Trump, as when he touted the anti-malaria medicine hydroxychloroquine.

Although an estimated 12 percent to 38 percent of prescriptions are written for FDA-approved drugs used “off-label” (including Botox and Viagra), Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, declared early on that providers should dispense only medicines proven to be safe and effective for COVID patients through “randomized, placebo-controlled trials.” These can take months or years to conduct, often at great cost.

Some governments and independent practitioners considered that standard a recipe for inaction that meant likely death for untold numbers of victims. These medical dissenters instead treated COVID-19 as physicians have long responded to newly emerging infectious diseases: by administering designer cocktails of cheap, safe, and readily available agents—in this case including hydroxychloroquine, antibiotics, aspirin, and vitamins—that had proved effective in treating similar illnesses or showed promise due to mechanisms of action.

RealClearInvestigations spoke or corresponded with 12 such advocates for early outpatient treatment globally—from California, Texas and Honduras to France, Israel, and India. These physicians used their clinical experience to make educated guesses about what combinations of drugs might work. Few used the same cocktail, but all insisted the treatments proved most effective when administered as early as possible.

Neither the political left nor the political right understands Anthony Fauci. To the left, Fauci is a patron saint to be thanked and worshipped. They fashion candles, hymns and magazine covers after him. They canonize him much the same way they canonized Ruth Bader Ginsburg, though I suspect that if you stopped them on the street and asked for details of a Ginsburg opinion, they would come up empty beyond screaming “Notorious RBG.” Anthony Fauci is venerated much the same way.

The right has compared Fauci to Nazi ministers of information, a Luciferian demigod drunk on pandemic power, a liar and hypnotist willing to do anything to retain his newfound celebrity and near-total grip on pandemic messaging — a grip that only solidified after Joe Biden’s presidential election. This Fauci is the subject of sloppy Fox News talking points that are meant to outrage. – [Utterly unnecessary dig at FNC.]

The truth is slightly more nuanced but it’s also a bit more terrifying. Fauci does not believe himself to be doing the work of either the left or the right. He lives on a completely different plane of understanding, and he knows it. Anthony Fauci is a man of science. He believes himself to be the spokesperson for “science itself,” as he states when he is attacked by people like Senator Rand Paul. Fauci responds to these attacks incredulously and rather defensively — not because he’s insulted on an emotional level, but because he genuinely believes he is the science, which can never be questioned and can never be wrong. Even when the science kills sixteen million people worldwide.

As first responders, family, friends, and New Yorkers gathered at St. Patrick’s Cathedral to say goodbye to fallen NYPD Officer Jason Rivera on Friday, his young widow delivered a heart-wrenching and powerful tribute to her 22-year-old husband who was shot and killed — along with his partner Wilbert Mora — in the line of duty last week. 

“I would say good morning to you all, but in fact it’s the worst morning ever,” Dominique Luzuriaga began. “All of this seems so unreal, like I’m having one of those nightmares you never thought you’d have,” she remarked.

“Jason is so happy right now that all of you are here, through pain and sorrow, this is exactly how he would have wanted to be remembered: like a true hero — or like I used to call him, ‘Big P.O. Rivera.'” his widow told the packed cathedral and overflow crowd standing outside in the snow. 

“You have the whole nation on gridlock,” Luzuriaga said of her late husband. “And although you won’t be here anymore, I want you to live through me,” she said. “The system continues to fail us. We are not safe anymore, not even the members of the service. I know you were tired of these laws, especially the ones from the new DA,” Rivera’s widow said of new Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg. “I hope he’s watching you speak through me right now,” she said to thunderous applause as those gathered to remember Rivera stood in solidarity against District Attorney Bragg’s new policies.
