Federal authorities won’t explain why three men who participated in the Capitol riot on Jan. 6, 2021, have mysteriously disappeared from the FBI’s Capitol Violence Most Wanted list.

One unidentified man wore an earpiece during the riot and was filmed carrying what appeared to be a concealed handgun on his left hip. The man was pictured on the FBI’s most wanted list for over five months until he was removed without explanation on the same day the New York Times reported an FBI informant was at the Capitol on Jan. 6.

A second unidentified man was filmed beating police officers with a baton during the riot. The FBI said the man was wanted for assaulting a federal law enforcement officer, but the agency removed the man from its most wanted list without explanation in late February, just weeks after his debut

The third man, Ray Epps of Arizona, was filmed in the hours leading up to the riot urging Trump supporters to enter the Capitol to stop the certification of President Joe Biden’s election victory.

Epps has not been arrested or charged for his actions. His unexplained removal from the FBI’s most wanted list on July 1 has fueled speculation from a member of the House Judiciary Committee that Epps may have agitated people to storm the Capitol at the behest of the FBI.

Video footage shows Epps, a former president of the Arizona Oath Keepers militia group, urging a crowd of Trump supporters on the evening of Jan. 5, 2021, to “go into the Capitol” the next day, provoking allegations from the crowd that he was working for the federal authorities.

Sore losers don’t like being sore losers, and for those who can’t take it, the sorest will pick up their marbles and go home.

That brings us to Gallup, whose left-wing pollsters had a problem on their hands as of 2020: President Trump was winning their annual “most admired” poll, which they had conducted since 1946.

According to NewsBusters, they didn’t do that poll this year:

NewsBusters pointed out a year ago that liberal news media lost interest in the annual poll after Donald Trump started edging out Barack Obama for first place, whereas the networks previously enjoyed using the survey to embarrassing Trump as sitting President failing to come in first place.

This year, a Google search conspicuously shows no sign that Gallup conducted such a poll for the past year, possibly because they couldn’t stand that thought having to report what likely would have been Trump coming in first again this year — after the January 6 riot.

Rather than shrug it off as typical nostalgia for an earlier president, which was what Republicans were easily able to do when Barack Obama made the top of their list during Trump’s presidency, they decided to not do one at all.

There’s a famous saying often attributed to Edmund Burke: “If you are not a liberal at 25, you have no heart.  If you are not a conservative at 35 you have no brain.”  Youth is attracted to liberalism because its ideals sound good — they really do.  You’d have to be some kind of monster not to want to save the planet, lift up the poor, correct past injustices, and share equally in Earth’s bounty.

The problem with liberals is not their ideals; it’s their actions — which never accomplish their intended purpose.  That’s because liberals are emotional, rather than rational, animals.  They make decisions with their hormones, not their brains — just like children.  Try debating one, and you’ll see.  I’ve tried.  It can’t be done.  You’ll be treated to an endless word salad of leftist talking points, followed by anger and a personal insult.

As one matures (not ages), one moves from emotion to wisdom.  With that wisdom comes the realization that the laws of nature and economics do not bend to our will.  The world is as it was created by our maker, not as we wish it to be.  I’ve been on this earth for only about six decades.  I don’t claim to be a wise man, but I’ve learned a few truths along the way.

1. Science is never settled

Scientists who claim that “the science is settled” are fools — period.  “Science” is our understanding of nature.  It’s the height of arrogance to presume that our understanding of nature is either complete or accurate.  We’ve often thought it was, but history has proven us wrong time and again.  We believed that the universe revolved around the Earth until we discovered that it didn’t.  Smart scientists know that there is always more to learn, and they avoid claims that their understanding is settled.

But unfortunately, the evangelists of the weather cult have not achieved that level of wisdom.  We were told that the evils of mankind would lead to a “global warming” death of the planet by 2000.  In 2006, Al Gore changed the Earth’s expiration date to 2016, because the science was more settled.  In 2019, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez informed us that the world will actually be ending in 12 years because of “climate change,” because the science is really, really settled now.  We’re three years into her prediction.  The world has gone collectively insane, but the Earth itself seems to be doing just fine.

In March 2020, a profile of the typical Covid victim emerged from Italy. The average decedent was eighty years old, with approximately three comorbidities such as heart disease, obesity or diabetes. The young had little to worry about; the survival rate for the vast majority of the population was well over 99 percent.

That portrait never significantly changed. The early assessments of Covid out of Italy have remained valid through today. And so it will prove with the Omicron variant.

The data out of South Africa, after five weeks of Omicron spread, suggest that Omicron should be a cause for celebration, not fear. Its symptoms are mild to non-existent in the majority of the infected, especially the vaccinated; hospitalization rates are over nine times lower than for previous Covid strains; deaths are negligible. That assessment will only be confirmed as the US and other western countries gather their own data on Omicron.

Yet the public health establishment and the media are working overtime to gin up Omicron hysteria. The official response to the Omicron variant provides a case study in the deliberate manufacture of fear. The following strategies are key:

1. Create a group norm of fear

The media want you to believe that everyone around you is scared out of his mind, and thus you should be, too. Man-on-the-street interviews quote Nervous Nellies exclusively. A December 17 New York Times article headlined “As Virus Cases Surge, New Yorkers Feel a Familiar Anxiety” trotted out a parade of paralyzed city residents:

“Monday I wasn’t even thinking about [Omicron], and Thursday I’m in a panic,” said a fifty-nine-year-old woman on the Upper West Side. A teacher at Manhattan’s New School confessed: “It’s literally all I’ve been thinking about. I’m really heartsick and worried.” A thirty-six-year-old woman in Fort Greene, Brooklyn, said: “It’s scary — it feels like we’ve been here before.” A sixty-two-year-old woman in Queens reported that her travel and outing days were over: “I’m going to go home, I’m going to stay home and just keep to myself.”

Preventing crime and punishing offenders is primarily the responsibility of local authorities. They have no greater obligation to the citizens who elected them and who fund the government.

It is up to local police, supervised by political leaders and subject to the law themselves, to provide a safe environment for citizens to go about their lives, pursuing their own goals in peace and security. It is up to local politicians to ensure that police are adequately funded and properly trained. It is up to local prosecutors to follow up all justified arrests and prosecute offenders when the evidence is adequate. When police overstep their limits, prosecutors should pursue them too. The goal is a safe environment, subject to the rule of law.

But in city after city across America, politicians have failed to meet this basic responsibility.

Although the failure is primarily local, it damages the Democratic Party at every level for at least three reasons. First, surging crime is now a top priority for voters. That’s damaging to the party in power. It’s even more damaging when that party is perceived as “soft on crime.” That’s the second reason, and it hurts the Democrats, who control the mayor’s office, city council, and prosecutor’s office of nearly every city in the country. Third, for years, leading Democrats have signaled the superior virtue on these issues by attacking the criminal justice system as systemically racist, condemning police, cutting police budgets and urging much lighter sentences for criminal offenses. They won major changes to local bail systems, permitting people with long records of violent crimes to gain quick release after posting negligible cash bonds. When the country was beset by riots in 2020, Democrats held a four-day nominating convention in Milwaukee without mentioning the chaos and violence.

Most of you whippersnappers were not even Planned Parenthood targets back when inflation was last a thing. It was the late-seventies, which you people associate with funky clothing and disco music. Most of us who lived through that miserable decade associate it with economic malaise, notably including massive inflation and 18% interest rates.

Yeah, think about 18% interest, all you folks with an adjustable rate loan. You’re spoiled by cheap money and low inflation. You are about to learn a lesson in economics. See, when Uncle Sucker prints lots of money and there are fewer things to buy, you get inflation. Prices rise. And your standard of living falls. 

Despite the economic insights of Joe Biden and his cast of mutants, there’s no changing it. And no, inflation is not evidence that all is well. That’s like a leper saying “Well, now that my big toe fell off, there’s less stuff to be infected. I’m cured!”

You are already seeing the results of the flood of fiat money wished into being by a liberal Congress. We have not gone full Weimar yet, but if they pass this BBB thing, life will be a cabaret.

If you have a car right now, good for you. It’s worth a lot more than it was six months ago. You can sell it and maybe make a profit. I scored by buying out a lease for a price set pre-inflation three years earlier – you should have seen the dealer wince. But if you need a new or used car, uh oh. Between the supply chain problems getting new vehicles (the manufacturers can’t get parts to build them, and once they do there’s the nightmare of moving what cars they do have to the dealers) plus the shortage of old ones to sell used, it’s a nightmare. 

Obviously, Trump is to blame. Plus, insurrectionists and transphobes.

The New Testament’s Book of Revelation has long puzzled and inspired biblical scholars as to the meaning of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse.  Most agree that they represent four catastrophes that will befall humanity during the “end times.”

The White Horse’s rider carries a bow and wears a crown.  He is generally thought to symbolize conquest.  Fast-forward to today, and consider the work of George Soros.  For decades, he has spent millions of his billions on his quest to destroy the United States and other nations.  He recruits and funds Antifa and BLM, supplies their riot gear and weapons, pays for their transportation and accommodations where necessary.  He funds the political campaigns of pro-criminal anti-victim district attorneys like Chesa Boudin in San Francisco and Kim Gardner in St. Louis.

Crime is skyrocketing in each city where a Soros-funded D.A. holds office.  These anti-American radicals engender violence and chaos and renounce law and order.  They have defunded the police.  Along with the rest of the left and the founders of BLM, Soros is committed to undermining all traditional American values and to promoting anything in opposition to those values.  Like the rider of the White Horse, he has succeeded wildly over the past twenty years. 

The Red Horse is, appropriately, the general secretary of China, Xi Jinping, leader of the Chinese Communist Party.  Aside from his horrific crimes against humanity, Xi began co-opting the Biden family when Joe was V.P.  The Biden family is inextricably linked with the CCP; China has the goods on the Bidens that could expose their greed and grift for all to see.  The Red Horse is said to represent war, bloodshed, murder, and revolution.  How many millions has Xi pumped into our universities, media, entertainment, sports, and mainstream press to see his preferred narratives spread throughout the land?  Incalculable. 

Bill Gates and his acolytes like Anthony Fauci could very well be riders of the Black Horse.
