Facebook and Twitter sacrificed the final shreds of their integrity to try to censor the N.Y. Post article revealing the existence of Hunter Biden’s laptop.  But in their rush to throw themselves in the path of the bullet to save Joe, there was a big problem.  They forgot that Rudy Giuliani has the evidence.

The N.Y. Post article was an exclusive.  That means all “fact checkers” that Facebook and Twitter will unleash to fact-check the article will be based on speculation, not fact.  Because they don’t have the laptop.

And, judging from a new video from Giuliani, things may be about to explode in the social media giants’ faces.

If just a quarter of what Rudy Giuliani alleges is true, the evidence contained on the laptop is, finally, the true smoking gun.  This isn’t some salacious accusations bundled by a hired spy relying on Russian disinformation and gossip.  It’s Hunter’s own laptop.  That fact alone could be an enormous blow to the Biden campaign.

Giuliani released bombshell after bombshell in a video released Wednesday evening after the media did their best to censor the N.Y. Post article — making the social media censorship even more damning to those who tried to hide it from the public.  Since receiving the copy of the hard drive, Giuliani has been poring through it, carefully documenting and preparing his prosecution.  What he says he found is the actual evidence of payments, the money-laundering scheme they used, “illegal money for bribes,” and how “some of that money from Ukraine … went to Joe Biden.

Like a prosecutor laying out the case, Giuliani leads off the video with this: “In future days, you will see texts, emails, and photos that demonstrate crimes committed by the Biden crime family — in China (probably most of all), Russia, and several other countries.”

If anybody is around to write history in a generation or two, October 14th 2020 will go down as the first day of a new Year Zero. Yesterday, with less than three weeks to go in a national election in a settled democratic society with an ostensibly free press, the woke billionaires of the social media cartel decided to freeze and/or cancel the Twitter/Facebook accounts of the President’s press secretary, the Trump campaign, Republican Senate candidates and Republican House members.

So America is now formally a one-party state, at least as far as fair access to media platforms is concerned. In old-school “people’s republics”, the dictator keeps the opposition party off the air. In the subtler version operated by social media, woke dictators of a nominally two-party state are now openly keeping one of those two parties off your telephones and tablets. Wanker conservatives of the lemming right wonder if this might be, ooh, a “campaign-finance violation”. Hey, yeah, maybe John Durham can do that for his next any-day-now investigation-without-end.

Meanwhile, tonight was supposed to be the second presidential debate, subsequently canceled when Trump balked at the official “debate commission”‘s unilateral tearing up of the agreed format. The man who would have moderated that debate, Steve Scully, was today indefinitely suspended by C-SPAN after admitting he lied when he said that an accidentally revealing tweet was the result of his account being hacked. (I go back a long way with Mr Scully.) His lie had been not merely accepted but enthusiastically promoted by members of the Blue Cheka, including Clinton flack Joe Lockhart, The Washington Post’s Karen Tumulty, and of course the frauds of the “Presidential Debate Commission”. Yet they remain “safe” sources of news at Twitter.

As recently as two years ago, tweeter-in-chief Jack Dorsey felt it politick to dissemble, at least before the US Congress:

I want to start by making something clear: we don’t consider political viewpoints, perspectives, or party affiliation in any of our policies or enforcement decisions. Period. Impartiality is our guiding principle… Twitter will always default to open and free exchange.

It seems that most states have seen massive rallies with numbers in the thousands of people showing support for President Trump – even in deep blue states like California.

The same can’t really be said in favor of Joe Biden.

On Sunday, the Biden/Harris campaign learned just how popular they really are in Arizona.

The local Fox News anchor covering the “event” said, “I’m told by one of the Biden staffers, local staffers, that they kind of kept the details about the visit, as far as the timing and the exact location, they didn’t really want to give that out to the public, because they want to keep the crowds to a minimum. They realize we are in a pandemic and they don’t want a crowd of more than fifty people at any of their events.”

Uh huh.

Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden insists that, if he wins the November election, his COVID-19 policies will “follow the science.” This would certainly be a welcome departure from his rhetoric regarding the pandemic. Biden’s public statements, particularly on mask mandates, general lockdowns, and in-person education, are clearly at odds with the recommendations of an increasing number of epidemiologists and public health scientists. His continued advocacy of countermeasures that have proven ineffective or even harmful suggest that the former vice president is scientifically illiterate or has deliberately ignored the discoveries made by genuine scientists about  COVID-19 since it claimed its first U.S. victim in February.
 

The most risible manifestation of Biden’s imposture concerning COVID-19 involves his science-free claims that mask mandates will somehow ameliorate transmission of the virus. He recently told a group of Michigan supporters, “Wearing a mask is not only going to protect you, but it also protects those around you.” This nonsense has been repeatedly debunked by randomized controlled trial (RCT) studies. No RCT study with a verified outcome — not one — has shown that masks prevent the spread of respiratory influenza-like illnesses (both influenza and COVID-19 spread via droplet and aerosol transmission). The ineffectiveness of masks has been confirmed by a meta-analysis that can be found at the official website of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC):

In our systematic review, we identified 10 RCTs that reported estimates of the effectiveness of face masks in reducing laboratory-confirmed influenza virus infections in the community.… There is limited evidence for their effectiveness in preventing influenza virus transmission either when worn by the infected person for source control or when worn by uninfected persons to reduce exposure. Our systematic review found no significant effect of face masks on transmission of laboratory-confirmed influenza.
