‘We’ve Gone Mad,’ Says Leading Pundit Maariv’s Ben-Dror Yemini says the press cooperated with anarchists in
attacking Lt. Col. Eisner.

“We’ve Gone Mad” – that was the caption over an op-ed piece by
Maariv’s Ben-Dror Yemini, a leading opinion-shaper, Tuesday morning.
The op-ed describes the way Israel’s press has cooperated with
pro-Hamas European anarchists in defaming Lt. Col. Shalom Eisner,
because of a single act of violence against a Danish anarchist.
The five-second-long video segment in which Eisner can be seen pushing
the magazine of his gun into the Dane’s face has been shown in Israeli
media over and over again, in “loops,” hundreds of times in the past
few days.
“It’s been a long time since we had an event that made it possible to
portray Israel as a monster,” Yemini wrote sarcastically. “No ‘Cast
Lead,’ no massacre in Jenin, not even a mini-intifada. The promises of
a ‘million man march’ toward Israel’s border melted into nothingness,
the flotillas stopped coming, even the mass flytilla turned out to be
bogus. Nada… And then it happened. It may have seemed for a moment
that Israel was successful in hiding the fact that it is a monster –
but then the plot was exposed. The ultimate proof was given in a
seconds-long segment showing IDF officer Lt. Col. Shalom Eisner
striking a Danish ‘cyclist’ with his gun.”

In an article referencing the anomie of young people like Henry Wachtel, the teenager who beat his mother to death last week, Ginia Bellafante suggests that it’s impossible “to view Mr. Wachtel’s tragedy apart from the life that the film suggests – one in which parents are absent, opportunities seem meager and the resulting freedoms feel joyless in the wake of so much anxiety about a precarious future.” (NYTimes 4/15/12 The film is “Our Time,” a cinema verite short in which Henry Wachtel had a leading role. It appeared at the Cannes Film Festival last year and deals with middle class teens in New York who are not part of the affluent life style and high achievement of kids prominently in view in this city of 1 percenters. As I read this article, I thought back to previous generations of teenagers – immigrants who came to this country without the language or the means to survive – who not only survived but excelled; teenagers who got drafted into the Second World War, the Korean War, the Vietnam War – some never to return, some to return as physical or mental basket cases, many of whom overcame their crippling disabilities to resume their lives or bravely create new ones. I thought of the words “so much anxiety” to describe kids who have a roof over their heads, a means of support, educational opportunities, no draft in sight and in Henry’s case, a mother who lived with and cared for him.

If I were black, I would be cringing in shame at the latest photo of Attorney General Eric Holder praising the likes of Al Sharpton, a man on record for very odious words and vile actions.

I would hear my now-deceased grandma when she intoned that you can’t sleep with fleas and not become flea-infested — this from a woman who knew full well the effects of American racism when her husband of 50 years could get a job only as an elevator operator even though he went to Brooklyn College in the Jim Crow days of the 1940s and aspired for more. This from a petite matriarch who would quote Martin Luther King, Jr. that “[t]he Negro must work passionately and unrelentingly for full stature as a citizen, but he must not use inferior methods to gain it. He must never come to terms with falsehood, malice, hate, or destruction.”

But that is precisely what Obama, Holder, and so many of the czars of the White House do. Sharpton’s record is quite clear. Sharpton’s philosophy rests on the premise that American capitalism, racism, and imperialism are intertwined and “[are] a threat to the vital rights of the Black people.” To this end Sharpton helped incite anti-Jewish riots in Crown Heights, New York in 1991 when a Hasidic Jewish driver accidentally ran over and killed a seven-year-old black boy. Sharpton delivered the following inflammatory speech.

The differences are greater than any similarities, but there is nontheless some overlap between the topsy-turviness of this story — Britain’s first Muslim life peer, Lord Ahmed, has placed a L10,000,000 bounty on the heads of both Presidents Obama and Bush due to the US placing a similar bounty on the head of Hafiz Saeed, founder of L-e-T — and the the topsy-turviness of the Sharpton-Holder nexus.

Al Qaeda Attorney Becomes Number Three Man in the DOJ

Obama’s new appointee, friend and major campaign donor, Tony West, believes terrorism is a matter for criminal courts and not military tribunals. He does not believe any enemy of the United States is a terrorist. He has a history of vigorously supporting Al Qaeda terrorists and is now in charge of the GITMO terrorists’ trials. It puts him in a supervisory position of the government lawyers charged with prosecuting the terrorists.

Tony West was the aggressive defense lawyer for John Walker Lindh, the American Taliban. Despite his alarmingly vigorous and sometimes irrational defense of Lindh, Lindh is serving 20-years in prison, though it should have been life. Lindh colluded with al Qaeda in Afghanistan and took up arms against U.S. troops.

West is also a major Obama campaign bundler and has raised a great deal of money for him. His sister-in-law, Kamala Harris, is in line for the next important government job, perhaps as eventual head of the DOJ.

I do not write unpleasant things about Barack Hussein Obama because he is a Democrat, a far-left liberal ideologue, a confirmed liar, or the sock-puppet of whatever cabal that chose him long ago to be the President. I write unpleasant things because he is all of these things, but also because he is the most stupid man to have ever held the office of President.

As far back as January 2, 2010, I wrote that Obama had “an imaginary life” because there was no proof that anything he claimed in his two memoirs, written by the age of 45, was true. His resume listed “community organizer”, an amorphous term that could mean anything, as his primary occupation. By October 2010 the Washington Times published a commentary of mine that said “millions of Americans are beginning to ask: Is President Obama just a moron?”

Even prior to his election, he had ensured that his entire paper trail of birth certificates, passports, college records, and other items most people can produce in under five minutes were “sealed” from public review, despite the fact that most modern presidents have had to submit their personal records, short of a colonoscopy exam, for examination. Among his first executive orders was one issued on January 21, 2009, to ensure none of these records saw the light of day.

When he finally produced a birth certificate, forensic analysts deemed it a forgery.

So, what really occurred on Election Day in 2008 was that a majority of voters, guided by an adoring mainstream press, elected an enigma. He rewarded their obsequiousness by being the first President since Grover Cleveland to not attend their annual Gridiron dinner.

Since then, anyone paying any attention has had to conclude that Americans elected an ignoramus, based solely on his own words and actions.

The much vaunted and praised “Arab Spring,” which took the world by surprise in December 2010, is slowly but surely turning into an Arab winter, which will inexorably become an Arab Islamic Ice Age in the near future. Already, the icicles of pan-Islamism are beginning to form throughout the Maghreb (North Africa), and the West best come to terms with the reality that the mantra of “free and fair elections” does not translate into Arabic as Western-style democracy.
Tunisia

Ironically, it is the birthplace of the “Arab Spring”—Tunisia—which is already in the midst of turning from Arab secular tyranny, into Arab Islamist domination. The largest party in the Tunisian parliament is the “moderate” Islamist party known as Ennahda (Hizb an Nahda), meaning the “Renaissance Party.” When elections were held in October 2011, the party gained a plurality of 90 seats in the 217 member Constituent Assembly.

Ennahda was formed by Rashid Ghannouchi, who after 22 years in exile, returned to a hero’s welcome in January 2011, after the overthrow of Zine El Abidine Ben Ali. Mr. Ghannouchi, who has been described as a “moderate” by many political pundits, has already called for the“end of Israel.” He has compared his party with that of Turkey’s Islamist AKP (“Justice and Development Party”) led by the Prime Minister, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who has practically turned Turkey into a de facto Islamic republic and brought relations with Israel to the brink of severance. Alas, the much hailed (and perhaps failed) “Jasmine Revolution” might well have paved the way for the beginning of Arab “Islamocracies.” That is, Islamic republics replacing secular pan-Arab socialist regimes, via “free and fair elections
