Anti-Semitism, often camouflaging itself under the guise of “Anti-Zionism” is still alive, and its proponents in the left and in the Muslim world are echoing the exact same views formerly expressed by Hitler’s National Socialists.
With such widespread idiocy and disinformation being promoted as “truth” by people who should know better, I will be starting next week a new occasional series, entitled “Anti-Semitism Watch.”

BRITAIN: Remembrance Day Silence Disrupted By Islamist Fanatics
Yesterday was Veteran’s Day in America. In Britain and Canada, the day is called Remembrance Day. It is also the anniversary of the signing of the Armistice that signalled the official ending of World War I.
At this time of year, people in Britain buy and wear red paper poppies to commemorate the fallen and wounded soldiers who have sacrificed themselves for their country. As is the tradition, on the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month, there is a two-minute silence in schools, places of work and on the broadcast media. I wrote here that a notorious British Islamist called Abu Izzadeen was released from Pentonville Prison in North London on October 28. Izzadeen, aka Omar Brooks, had said outside the jail:
“I don’t believe anybody, even non-Muslims, should buy a poppy because they should not endorse this illegal war. The reality is that the troops are carrying out legalised killing, which is murder as far as I’m concerned. Houses are being destroyed, mosques are being destroyed, Muslims are being murdered and tortured by the forces.”
Yesterday in central London, when there should have been a two minute silence and a laying of wreaths at the Cenotaph memorial monument, a group of (dare I say “British”?) Islamists broke the silence with shouts and then began a physical confrontation with police. According to the Telegraph, one police officer sustained a head injury and three arrests were made.
The protest began a group of 50 Muslims burning of large paper poppy at 11 am. With a police escort they then marched past the Natural History Museum toward the Cenotaph, but were prevented from reaching the site of the Cenotaph itself. The protesters are shown in photographs to be carrying placards stating: “British Soldiers Burn in Hell!”, “Islam Will Dominate,” “Allah is our Protector and You have No Protector,” and “Afghanistan, Graveyard of Empires.”
The Telegraph quoted a man who called himself Asad Ullah, who is aged 23 and said he lived in London. He was acting as a spokesman for the group calling itself “Muslims Against Crusades,” which organized the protest. Ullah said:
“The British soldiers you remember on this day are soldiers who have taken innocent lives in illegal occupations and unjust wars. Our aim is not violence but if people come to us with violence, Muslims will defend themselves.”
Considering Abu Izzadeen, a former leading member of the Al-Muhajiroun front groups the Savior/Saved Sect and Al-Ghurabaa, had condemned the Remembrance poppies, it is highly possible that the group Muslims Against Crusades is a direct offshoot of the Al-Muhajiroun network. The ties seem to be strong. Back in February of 2006, Anjem Choudhary of the Al-Muhajiroun network organized a famous protest in London in which his followers carried placards calling for the beheading of people who insulted Islam.
At that time, the Saved Sect (another Al-Muhajiroun front group led by Abu Izzadeen) had a website page which promoted the demonstration of February 3 that would become so notorious. Its promotion carried the title: “Christian Crusade Against Islam in Europe”. According to an article in MND from February 2, 2006, the Saved Sect website was registered at that time to: The Saved Sect, Asad Ullah, 472 Coventry Road, Birmingham, West Midlands B10 0UG, in Great Britain. Is this the same individual?
The tactics of Muslims Against Crusades are identical to those used by Al-Muhajiroun. The website carries triumphalist messages celebrating the disruption of Remembrance Day:
Muslims Against Crusades, ensured that on, November 2010, on the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11 month, these crimes were exposed and their perpetrators condemned. Alhamdulillah (all praise be to Allah), for the first time in the history of this annual event, the silence of millions of people in Britain, was publicly broken by a handful of sincere Muslims seeking to undermine the British military for their appalling actions.
Unfortunately, as is the case with the dictatorial British regime, who are unable to live up to their supposed values of freedom and democracy, two Muslim participants were harshly arrested, by the oppressive British police.
and:
The recent demonstration on Remembrance Day 2010, by a handful of Muslims, has undoubtedly sent shockwaves across the whole of Britain; what was essentially within the ambit of British law has now exposed a burning hatred (of Islam and Muslims) that has until now remained hidden and out of sight.
The website is decorated with images of mutilated children and adults, allegedly victims the actions of the “Crusaders.” There is a video presented by a man who calls himself Abu Ubaidah who has no visible charisma or communication skills. Among the bleatings of Abu Ubaidah on his amateur video, the attempt upon the life of a British MP by a Muslim woman fanatic is celebrated (see the section below).
The Daily Mail carries photographs of the demonstrators. In one of these (above), “Abu Ubaidah” is seen setting fire to a large red poppy.
A contingent of members of the English Defence League were also at the event, but they maintained a low profile and the two groups were prevented from meeting.
The EDL is a group that was formed in direct response to similar behaviour – aimed directly at British troops – that was exhibited by Al-Muhajiroun-connected Muslims led by Sayful Islam in Luton, in early 2009. The EDL group is opposed mainly by extreme leftists from the UAF.
UPDATE: According to the Evening Standard, the head of the English Defence League was today charged with assault. It is apparent that he was one of the three men who were arrested on the day. The man’s name is given as Stephen Lennon of Luton, aged 27. He is better known as “Tommy Robinson”, and is sometimes called “Yaxley-Lennon.” He will appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on November 22. According to the Standard:
Four men, aged 41, 42, 19 and 18, were held for affray and another for possession of Class A drugs. Two Muslims, aged 30 and 25, were arrested for public order offences.
Recently, a Muslim group has set itself up in opposition to the EDL, calling itself the Muslim Defence League.
The following article was written by our Contributing Editor Edmund Standing, and originally appeared in the blog Harry’s Place, on September 30th. It is reproduced with his permission.
Muslim Defence League: Standing Up For Islamism
By Edmund Standing
A group calling itself the ‘Muslim Defence League’ has emerged following recent EDL activities, and they’re planning a protest in Leicester on October 9th.
The question is: a protest against, or for, what exactly?
You might assume the protest is likely to be about uniting communities, opposing bigotry, denouncing extremism, and so on. A look at the MDL Facebook group gives the impression this is rather unlikely.
The MDL Facebook group’s moderators are:

Saladin Ayubi
Black Panther Mdl
Lioness Mujahidah Mdl

Chechnyan Wolf is a character you may remember as being part of a ragtag group of Hamas supporters and Communists who protested against the BBC back in August for daring to broadcast the truth about the jihadist-linked ‘Freedom Flotilla’:
Not a great start, then.
The Group’s photo galleries contain images calling for a boycott of ‘racist Israel‘ and accusing Israelis of ‘murder‘, and this Friends of Al-Aqsa image, edited by Chechnyan Wolf:
Some MDL supporters want to go further than simply boycotting Israeli goods, and instead engage in glorifying terrorism (picture here).
When they’re not glorifying terrorism, MDL supporters are busy defending terrorists. Here we see that amongst the pages ‘liked’ by the MDL Facebook moderators is a page dedicated to the campaign to ‘Free Aafia Siddiqui’ (this page’s image is another Chechnyan Wolf production):
Aafia Siddiqui is a convicted terrorist and cause célèbre for Islamists such as Jamaat-i-Islami. From the New York Times:
A Pakistani neuroscientist who was convicted of trying to kill American soldiers and F.B.I. agents in Afghanistan, was sentenced to 86 years in prison on Thursday in Federal District Court in Manhattan.
…
In 2004, she was described by Robert S. Mueller III, the director of the F.B.I., as “an Al Qaeda operative and facilitator.” And when she was arrested in 2008, she was carrying in her purse instructions on making explosives and a list of New York landmarks, including the Statue of Liberty, the Brooklyn Bridge and the Empire State Building.
…
In 2008, Ms. Siddiqui was taken into custody in Ghazni, Afghanistan, after the local authorities became suspicious of her loitering outside the provincial governor’s compound.
While in custody, on July 18, 2008, prosecutors said, Ms. Siddiqui grabbed an M4 rifle from a police station floor and fired on Army officers and F.B.I. agents. She was shot in the abdomen.
I look forward to Unite Against Fascism’s counter-demo at the upcoming MDL event. There will be one, right?

BRITAIN: Terrorism Arrest – Link to Revolution Muslim Website Threats
The identity of a man arrested at 9.30 a.m. on Tuesday (November 9) in Wolverhampton, in the Midlands region of Britain, has still not been revealed. His arrest is detailed in the Birmingham Post and Daily Telegraph, while a report today from the Express & Star claims that the community in Wolverhampton is in shock.
The man, aged 23, lived in Dunstall but was arrested in another part of the city. Computer equipment was removed from his home.
The reasons for his arrest relate to the Revolution Muslim website, which is registered in America (at Bellevue in Washington) but has links to the British Al-Muhajiroun terrorism-supporting network. From the Birmingham Post:
Det Chief Insp John Denley, of the West Midlands Counter Terrorism Unit, said: “We are treating the contents and implications of this blog very seriously, and have taken action this morning (Wednesday) to progress our investigation.”
The website was the same one that was said to have influenced student Roshonara Choudhry, who was jailed for life last week for stabbing East Ham MP Mr Timms.
This is what I wrote in an editorial on November 4, the day that the threat appeared on the Revolution Muslim website:
A Murder Attempt Leads To Direct Incitement to Murder
If proof were needed that sites such as the Islamic Thinkers Society and Revolution Muslim were not being used to deliberately incite acts of violence, today, Revolution Muslim is giving a list on its front page of British Members of Parliament who in 2003 had voted for the invasion of Iraq. Why should this be seen as so provocative?
Yesterday, a 21 year old woman student called Roshanara Choudhry was jailed for life at the Old Bailey Court in London. She will serve at least 15 years behind bars for attempted murder. In May this year she had approached Stephen Timms, the Member of Parliament for East Ham, at one his “surgeries” where he would meet constituents. She smiled, shook his hand and then stabbed him until she was restrained.
She had watched over 100 hours of video sermons from al-Qaeda terrorist promoter Anwar al-Awlaki before she tried to kill Stephen Timms. She had told police:
I became interested in Anwar al-Awlaki’s lectures because he explains things really comprehensively and in an interesting way so I thought I could learn a lot from him and I was also surprised at how little I knew about my religion so that motivated me to learn more…
Her main reason for trying to kill Mr Timms was because he had voted for the Iraq War, a decision that was made when she would have only been 13 years old.
On the Revolution Muslim website, she is described as a “Mujaahidah.” The website entry, posted by “Bilal,” gives a list of all the British members of parliament who similarly voted for the invasion of Iraq. The web entry then states of Roshonara Choudhry:
We ask Allaah to keep her safe and secure, to hasten her release and to reward this heroine immensely. We ask Allaah for her action to inspire Muslims to raise the knife of Jihaad against those who voted for the countless rapes, murders, pillages, and torture of Muslim civilians as a direct consequence of their vote.
After talking of inspiring Muslims to “raise the knife of Jihaad against those who voted…” the entry goes on to give the exact times of Mr Timm’s constituency surgery times, how to phone to arrange an appointment, and with the ominous comment: “ At his surgeries you will be able to meet him.”
This is a direct incitement to murder.
To emphasize the solicitation to kill, the website mentions that four days before Roshonara Choudhry tried to kill Stephen Timms, she was reading a book called “The Book of Jihad,”written by Abi Zakarya Al Dimashqi Al Dumyati or “Ibn-Nuhaas” who died in Egypt in 1411 while committing “offensive jihad”.
Ibn-Nuhaas’ Book of Jihad justifies jihad as a deed that will cleanse sins and bring rewards in Heaven, and invokes (p.39) Koranic texts and Hadiths such as the following quote from the Koran (Surah 9, v. 111), translated as:
“Indeed, Allah has purchased from the believers their lives and their properties [in exchange] for that they will have Paradise. They fight in the cause of Allah, so they kill and are killed. [It is] a true promise [binding] upon Him in the Torah and the Gospel and the Quran. And who is truer to his covenant than Allah? So rejoice in your transaction, which you have contracted. And it is that which is the great attainment.”
For good measure, the entire “Book of Jihad,” translated by Noor Yamani, is given a link on the front page of Revolution Muslim, so a pdf version can be downloaded.
This entry on Revolution Muslim is a direct urging of Muslims in Britain to kill members of parliament, and by extension, anyone else who disagrees with or offends Islam (as perceived by these fanatical individuals).
I normally give direct links to my sources, but in this case I do not want to become complicit in promoting such details, and hope that this particular page will be closed down as soon as possible.
The entire website of RevolutionMuslim.com has been closed down, at the request of Britain’s Home Office. The name of the man who was arrested will be released, should he be charged.
Revolution Muslim’s release of the names of MPs who had voted for a resolution that led to the Iraq invasion, presented as a “hit-list” has caused consternation for politicians who were named, such as Ruth Kelly, MP for Bolton.
NETHERLANDS: Problems For Geert Wilders
The Dutch Freedom Party (Partij Voor de Vrijheid, or PVV), the anti-Islamic party of Geert Wilders is undergoing some embarrassment after one of its members has been found to have a conviction. According to RNW via Expatica:
MP Eric Lucassen, a former army instructor, served one week of military detention in 2002, having been found guilty of having sex with two female trainee soldiers under his command, TV station RTL4 revealed on Thursday. Mr Lucassen has also been accused of issuing threats and intimidations to his neighbours between 2006 and 2009.
Geert Wilders has said that his part has limited funding and had not been able to afford the necessary screening to pick out Mr Lucassen’s previous conviction.
A few days ago, according to RNW (Radio Netherlands News), Dutch philosopher and founder of the Nexus Institute Rob Riemen sent an essay to all Dutch Members of Parliament. This essay tried to maintain that “Geert Wilders is a Fascist.” Riemen stated:
What you can clearly see with Wilders is the cultivation fo feelings of unease and fear in society. Societal unease is blamed on a single scapegoat, Muslims. He is also an authoritarian, charismatic leader who has little time for democracy. As with the fascists in the 1930s, the Freedom Party is more a movement than a party and Wilders avoids all debate with his opponents outside of parliament.
He continued:
Compare him with the way it began, in the 1920s and 1930s. Then you can see the one-on-one parallels.
If he claims that Wilders is a fascist, then Riemens, for all his intellect, is an idiot. If and when Wilders starts to condemn Muslims as people and urging violence against them, rather than criticizing the ideology of Islam, then there might be a comparison between European fascism of the 1920s and 1930s.
At that time, the attacks were all about Jews, and the fascists made crude racial and ethnic stereotypes of Jewish people, with no objective criticism of Judaic philosophy or religion.
Such comments are entirely misleading and ignore the fact that many Islamists promote the same views, while ignoring the fact that the Nazis supported Islamists, and in Bosnia, there was even a regiment of Muslim Nazi troops (the 13th Handschar Division of the Waffen SS).
If Riemens represents modern Dutch philosophy, it has sunk a long way since the days of Baruch Spinoza…..
Anti-Semitism, often camouflaging itself under the guise of “Anti-Zionism” is still alive, and its proponents in the left and in the Muslim world are echoing the exact same views formerly expressed by Hitler’s National Socialists.
